House vacation rentals in Parke County

The house was perfect for our family get together. It was extremely clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. The hosts had even supplied a second propane tank so we were able to continue grilling our steaks when the first ran out of gas. The kitchen was especially spectacular for fixing food, hanging out and laughing with 5 of our grown children. And, air hockey downstairs was the perfect sport for a cold winter night. It was peaceful and luxurious; altogether, a delightful experience. We would definitely rent again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic place, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a beautifully maintained property. The highlight of our stay was definitely the arcade! It provided endless entertainment, with a variety of games that kept both kids and adults engaged. We had so much fun challenging each other to friendly competitions. The pool area was equally impressive. It was clean, spacious, and a perfect oasis for relaxation. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also ideal, close to local attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat Overall, this rental exceeded our expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Great location close to our family for Thanksgiving week! Home was cozy and great for fun with the kids- ping pong and pool were a big hit along with the fire pit when we made s’mores. Fav was our surprise outdoor guest Katie! She was a sweet heart and kept us company every time we were outside. Would stay again.

This is our Cunot home whenever we are in the area to visit out daughter and her family. We felt like we knew Captain Bill even though we didn't get the opportunity to meet him, yet...We will surely be trying the other properties he owns in the area and we can't wait for summer to get the pool experience! Everything about this property was perfect, not one single complaint. Thank you Captain Bill!!

This home was beautiful and clean! Everything we were expecting and the host was very friendly and communicated great!!!

We loved this place. Clean, modern, well stocked, and comfortable. We especially loved peaceful setting and the view out the back overlooking the wooded ravine with great bird watching. We saw a piliated woodpecker as well as a red headed woodpeckers up close and personal. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very usable. Joanne provided nice quality linens and towels. Our hosts could not have done a better job of responding to our needs while respecting our privacy. We specifically came to visit Turkey Run State Park which did not disappoint although the trails can be quite icy and challenging in the winter. We also toured a bit to see the many covered bridges in the area. The restaurants in Rockville were good even during this lowest of seasons for visitors.

Excellent, restful stay! Quiet and private. Plenty of room for the family.

Great option close to Turkey Run. Home is well equipped with games, great table set-up, muffins, a popcorn machine, and everything you need in the kitchen. Everything very clean. Exactly as described.

A charming home near everything. The yard was spacious you were near the center of town , but the lication felt private. The home was clwan and well equiped . The farage had been turned into a rec room with a pooltable to enjoy they remodled but kept the charm of the home. A 5 star place to stay.

We loved our stay! The surrounding area is beautiful, including the property surrounding the house. The house had a great layout and was a very peaceful and quiet place to breakaway as our family of 7. The property is a very short distance from Turkey Run as well as Shades State Parks. Jean was very helpful and offered lots of good information prior to our arrival, which made the whole trip very easy for us. Jean provided smores and children's activities for our kids, which was an added bonus. I highly recommend staying here!
