Very warm welcome, impeccable and functional accommodation of traditional Japanese type and very well-equipped. Off-the-beaten-path rental 100m from a beautiful beach. Great value, we regret not staying longer.

We had a very fulfilling two days with all the extraordinary experiences!I wish there were cooking utensils and board games, but everything was packed, and there was nothing to complain about.The host was kind and it was a lovely place to visit again and again!

I was looking for a last night of solitude after finishing the Kumano Kodo and Ura-san's place was absolutely perfect. It's in a rural location, but he picked me up at Nachi Falls, drove me to the supermarket, and dropped me off at the station the next morning. It was a cozy and comfortable cottage in a beautiful setting. He also let me take home some of his homemade blueberry jam and some mandarin oranges. I can't wait to stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at this airbnb. Exactly what i wished for - a quiet, peaceful environment, surrounded by nature. We were blessed to be greeted with fresh snow on the last 2 days of our stay. Its the perfect sanctuary for anyone who is looking for a new way of life. Lee has been a great host, shared many useful info and culture of this place. I will definitely come back.. again, and again :)

We have used it many times.It is clean and clean.I used it at the end of January during the cold season, but it was very nice to have a heater in the dressing room.I will stay again when I go to Shingu City.

The interior felt wider than the photos, and it was a very relaxing space.The cleaning was thorough and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Takeshi was very friendly. He explained a lot about the house. Including how to operate the record player in the 'speakeasy'! It is a charming and traditional house. It makes you feel like you live in a real house rather than a holiday home. The diagram of what to expect (which is listed in the pictures of the house) is very accurate. It was a nice experience to live in the tatami rooms and having to make our own beds with the futons. Even though it's kind of remote, it's not completely quiet at night: you can hear some noises from the fishing boats at the pier. It makes you realise that you're pretty close to the ocean. It was nice to walk along the harbour and piers: very clear water with a lot of fish. Unfortunately, we didn't see any sea turtles. Maybe next time!

This place was absolutely perfect. The reviews about Ryochi's hosting are 100 % legit. Best BNB host I have ever interacted with. Picked us up at the station and dropped us off. Offered guidance on transportation, but also offered guidance on how to spend our time in Koyasan. All great recommendations. He was able to make a dinner reservation for us and it was fantastic. The place Itself is art itself! Amazing use of limited space. it feels big and spacious, despite being a studio. Really comfy place to stay for a few days. Family Mart literally next door for morning coffee and snack runs. not to mention the cute Pon Poko restaurant right next door..we had a great experience eating there with the family who owns the place..one of those small moments you hope to have on a trip. Book the spot now. You will be stoked.

Comfortable, spacious house. Great to have a full kitchen and refrigerator, for home cooking. I've stayed here before, and plan to return!
