Vacation rentals in Overdale

Silverwood Loft was the perfect stop-over for us. Graham met us on arrival and was very friendly and helpful. Amanda very kindly left out a portable hob and pans for us to make dinner. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay again if we were in the area!

Family of 14 from 4 households ages ranging from 1 to 61, we all had a fantastic time there was lots of space to have either some quiet time or all be together in one room, there is everything you would need. The hot tub was one of the hottest we have been in. Thank you

A wonderful stay in a lovely house. Tastefully and comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen, this provided everything we needed for an enjoyable and intimate family Christmas. Communications with our host, Sam, throughout our brief stay was excellent although we had very few occasions to make contact. Access and use instructions were clear and comprehensive. Beds were very comfortable with good quality linen and towels provided. Cleanliness throughout the house was super, and we made sure not to wear outdoor footwear in carpeted areas. The lounge area was very welcoming, although could have benefitted from some additional seating (for 3 of us, only having a 2-seater sofa was a little difficult). Lovely place to stay, quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was a great addition. The place was clean and cosy, perfect for a weekend away from it all.

Nothing bad to say, there was 12 of us all together and it was perfect for all of us, would fully recommend, lots of space, a beautiful home, will definitely stay again if in the area

Alex was a great responsive host. Always replied instantly and helped with any queries. The area is lovely and quiet and the grain house was a lovely stay. Really cosy and comfy. Will definitely be booking here again.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the bunkhouse! It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt so welcoming from the moment we arrived. The large table was an absolute highlight—we spent hours around it playing card games, and enjoying family meals. During our stay, Storm Darragh hit, which could have turned things upside down, but Alex and her family were fantastic. They went above and beyond to ensure we were warm and comfortable, even setting up a generator to keep everything running smoothly. I believe the property was without power for more than 48 hours, but we were none the wiser. Despite the wild weather, we had such a lovely stay, and would return in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cosy and well-equipped spot for a group getaway!

Wow! What a beautiful home! The house itself has everything you need plus much more. The location is perfect if you enjoy walking and some lovely pubs local too, great for a family meal after a walk. The hosts were incredible. super friendly and incredibly helpful. They also accommodated our stay at the very last minute, which was really kind of them to help us. We spent most of the time in the house in the kitchen at the large table. which was great for the family time together. It was great to be all able to eat together, and we played some family games like a quiz, cards and board games which was great. It was also spotless and had everything there to help you clean before your departure. The outside area for the dogs was great (but they must be on a lead) I honestly have nothing negative to say about this house and its host everything was just perfect! If you book you are certain to have the best time, we sure did. Thank you!
