Hostel vacation rentals in Otaru

The host, Hiroko-san, is the kindest and most hands-on airbnb host I’ve ever met. She personally fetched us from the bus stop and brought us back to the bus stop during our departure date. She’s VERY accommodating and will really help you with all your needs and answer all your questions. She even brought us in front of her house to go snow sliding which made our experience more memorable. My mom and I are forever grateful to the kindness and effort that Hiroko-san has poured into everything. She went above and beyond of what we usually expect from an airbnb host. Kazu is a very nice host and very timely reply, the room is quite affordable, and the traffic to city centre is also convenient. However without having a AC, you have to keep the ventilator on during the summer night, which is a bit of noisy .

Hiroko was very friendly and picked me up and dropped me off at a nearby station when I checked in and out.They gave us a lot of advice about the routes and places we were heading to, but unfortunately some parks were closed. (laughs) I had the opportunity to experience and enjoy winter activities in Hiruko's backyard.I would like to visit again.Thank you very much.(I want to experience Sapporo in the summer) (laughs)

We had a very pleasant time, not only about the house we were staying in, but also because we were politely guided according to the purpose of the trip and the schedule.

Walking up the hill in thick snow was an experience!! But it was easy to get to from the station. Really friendly reception and warm atmosphere to the whole place, it felt really cosy! When we arrived we were given a map of the local area and recommendations for food; the place we went to was amazing! It was a shame we only stayed a night, I would definitely stay here again!

The lodge-like lounge and building in the movie was impressive. I was satisfied that I stayed comfortably and warmly in the cold winter.

The place is nicely decorated, it’s comfortable like home. It is clean and it has complete amenities. Just that you need to drag your luggages up hills to visit this place. I don’t mind since i am fit to do that. Also meed to carry your own luggage to reach the lobby, it has stairs. It’s suitable for younger people. The owner provided ear plugs for us to use, very kind. I can sleep well here, that’s all matters. In the end we took a cab to go to JR station because my friend can’t carry her 2 big luggages down through hill with slippery icy road condition. Lawson is just across the corner hence it was easy to find food. I hope the hotel will open restaurant soon for customers who are too tired to walk around the neighborhood to get restaurant. Overall a pleasant experience for me.

The bedroom, furniture, toilet and shower are all clean and well maintained. It was nice that the hot water came out well. However, since the heater is heated, it warms up quickly in the room, but it can be a little dry. Thanks to you, I had a great time.

Often will love a trip because a hotel will relive a trip, this is such a hotel, go, you will not regret it

Great public space, it might not be very convenient to stay here for a long time.In addition, it is hard to drag a suitcase from the platform to the homestay in the winter, the snow is very thick and difficult to drag, it is best to bring small luggage.🧳

I had an amazing stay. The bus station is just next to the Hostel, very practical, and you can also walk towar the center. The Onsen is so nice and the hostel space too.
