Vacation rentals with lake access in Ostholstein

The house is as seen in the pictures very beautiful and furnished to a high standard. Everything you need is available and also small details such as extra blankets, a pair of spices and a barbecue were there. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and we got an introduction. The sauna overlooking the garden is a highlight, especially at night due to the built-in starry sky and LED lighting. Fire bowl and wood were also available, which we were allowed to use easily. You can walk to the swimming spot on the lake in about 2 minutes. Overall a wonderful stay that is ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The communication with Scarlett and Robert was also straightforward and answers to questions were always quick. We will certainly come back again!

Nice place to stay for a relaxing week for two with a dog. But there would have been room for more guests. Clean, everything you need was there and Björn was very easy to reach with questions. Would come back again 👍

Gerd's home was spacious, and warm. It is tucked off the street in a small town in Northern Germany. We were fortunate to see snowfall and it couldn't have been prettier if we dreamed it. As an American family we were welcomed by Gerd's adult son who spoke perfect English to us.

Susanne's place is super nice. Absolutely quiet location, superbly equipped, comfortable beds and nicely decorated. There is also enough storage space for the items you bring with you. The view of the field is particularly beautiful.

We stayed at Katharina's beautiful place over New Year's Eve with 4 families and a total of 6 children and had a great time! There is a lot of space and retreat options. The playroom is perfect and the kids loved it. The house is super equipped and was super cozy! Next time would use the upper bedroom but only as a game room. We will definitely be back, next time in summer so we also have something from the pool and tennis court:) Thanks also to Ms. Ms. Marthiensen for the nice welcome!

It was another great stay in the vacation home. Everything was great.

We were in Andrea's vacation home to spend quiet days during the winter holidays. We've been there before in the summer, so we knew what everything looks like (spic and span) and where we are (quiet). We went riding / hiking every day and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace every evening. That was our goal, so we are very, very happy. 😀

We have now booked this place for the third time for 4 weeks each and are very satisfied. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location in a quiet part of the city, walking distance to the center. There are many parks, a botanical garden, restaurants and lots of shopping nearby. Christian is a very great host, we have already booked another stay:) Definitely recommended!

A very nice reception from Birgit in her beautifully furnished apartment, which is located in a quiet side street with magnificent views of the large pretty garden. We were even allowed to take the canoe on the Schwentine. Beautiful! Birgit and Markus are very friendly, affectionate people who are happy to help you. We can only recommend the apartment and would love to come back.

Stayed with 6 people and there was plenty of room. Gorgeous high ceilings, clean, good WiFi and phenomenal location.

The loft matches the photos. Everything worked out great. The host responded to questions quickly and amiably. The loft is well located and you can explore Hamburg in a short time. In the neighborhood, there are many great restaurants and coffee shops. Only the main road is a bit noisy. We had a great time and highly recommend the loft. 👍🏻

Very neat and clean accommodation only a few minutes away from the idyllic nature.

We were 5 women in the apartment and it was perfect for that. Whether cooking together in the well-equipped kitchen, eating and playing at the table - it was all just as we had imagined. We would only have liked an armchair when relaxing in the sitting area. And adjusting the water temperature in the shower was a bit cumbersome. But that's whining at a high level - 5 stars, very deserved! We will be happy to come back.

The apartment was perfect for the two days stay. We felt right at home. The location is perfect, 2 min. Walkway to the beach, a super Indian restaurant nearby with very good selection. The weather also played along, the view was amazing. Amenities of the apartment were also very good, there was everything you needed. We will be happy to come back!

Saskia and Hendrik's house is very stylish and tastefully decorated. The hosts are very warm, likeable and helpful. A swimming spot on the lake is less than a minute's walk away and the sea is just under 10 minutes by bike. We felt very comfortable and would book the house again at any time. Thank you for the great time in your beautiful home.

We spent a weekend at the cottage in Bissee. The place is just as beautiful as the photos and very tastefully decorated. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the water protection area, where you can watch all kinds of birds such as egrets, swans and various ducks up close. With clear skies, you have a great view of the starry sky at night. We enjoyed the tranquility, walked on the adjacent lake and ate well at the restaurant which is a few minutes walk away. The only mini criticism: setting the shower temperature well was a bit challenging.

This is an true gem. The house is old and quirky but absolutely lovely and cozy. The garden and water is stunning and the location couldn’t be more beautiful. Ragna is very proactive and responsive and I would absolutely stay here again.

This place is a true gem. The location at the lake is stunning as it gets the evening sun and the lake is perfect for SUP and swimming. We loved every second of our stay there!

We had a very nice vacation and felt comfortable right away, beautiful surroundings, highlight for our children (3 and 6 years) the toys and animals outside. Good communication and quick answers to questions. Everything was clean and nicely furnished. We'd love to come back :)

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our planned trip with our 80-year-old parents at short notice. Eckhard responded very well and allowed us to "pass" our trip to our neighbors. Even in advance, the communication was always friendly and expedient. We plan to make up for our trip. Here the impressions of our neighbors: The wooden cottage in Bosau is cozy and the view of the lake is something special. Eckhard welcomed us nicely. We felt comfortable there. Only the hot water in the hand basin was spun a little at first. Otherwise everything is fine.
