Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Ortona

The pictures don’t serve this apartment justice - the space is AMAZING. Fantastic location, and all the amenities you could need. The flat has a huge terrace/balcony which opens up completely, but also can be enclosed (and is air conditioned/heated!). The kitchen is located here, and I loved my open-air cooking experience. There is also a separate balcony off the bedroom. Location is great - 10 minute walk from the train station and less than 5 from the beach, and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and cafe’s. It was the ideal spot for bringing our one year old - a high chair and cot were provided, as well as sheets and a baby blanket. Alessandro was so kind, accommodating, and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

If you want to experience comfortable and modern accommodations in the heart of a crumbling, centuries-old village in one of the less touristed parts of Italy, then this is a perfect location. The apartment is on the lower level, so there is less natural light, but it is clean and full of modern amenities. It is small but easily accommodated two couples. The apartment is a minute or two walk from the local bar. There are not really any shops or restaurants in the village, but a 15 minute walk to the base of the town, down a street lined with tall cypress trees will bring you to the village bakery which also stocks a few other food items. Ofena was significantly damaged in the 2009 earthquake that devastated the nearby city of L’Aquila, so many of the buildings are damaged and a considerable amount of restoration is underway resulting in some areas being closed off and a fair bit of noisy construction when we were there.

Everything was very clean and well cared for, Gianni and Lucia were also very kind to keep us a place to park our car, as well as suggesting a good restaurant for the evening. The location is also convenient for those who have to take the highway again or have to go skiing in Roccaraso.

It is an excellent place to stay!!!

Luca is a responsive, friendly and gracious host. The house manual he has there is amazing-comprehensive and easy to read, includes information about the house, the area and suggested attractions. The place is spacious, pretty and has all the amenities one could need, including anything necessary for people traveling with small children. The bed is comfortable and there are ample towels. I happened to be there when it was in the mid 90's Fahrenheit, so the lack of air conditioning made the temperatures inside uncomfortable. The lack of A/C is standard in the town, the locals seem used to it and it is only hot in July, but worth noting if one is sensitive to heat, it can be an issue. There was a small issue upon arrival with the hot water, but it was fixed immediately- the host has caretakers who live right across the street. It is a 5 star place with a 5 star host.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little house on the edge of Scanno Lake. The house is both comfortable and warm, with everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen is very well equipped, with basic food products. The bathroom is well appointed, including toilet, sink, bidet and a nice shower. The little extra: the washer with dryer, ideal for an extended stay. Also note the very efficient heating. We were particularly charmed by the breathtaking view of the lake from the upstairs bedroom, where a very comfortable queen bed was waiting for us. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Alessandra's welcome was most warm. She provided us with great tips and was available and responsive. In short, this house is a real gem that we recommend without hesitation.

Absolutely gorgeous house in the heart of Serramonacesca. The whole town is within an easy walk. House itself is gorgeous and kept in brilliant condition. High recommend... can't wait to come back!

Lorenzo picked us up and brought us to our stay. From the beginning the experience was extraordinarily pleasant: The host was really friendly, told us interesting facts about the old building and showed us everything in very good English. The apartment is spacious, the temperature is beautifully cold and it’s a unique atmosphere. We will never forget it. The TV is working, even with Chromecast, the kitchen has everything you need (Bialetti for coffee included). Everything was super clean and comfortable. It’s super quiet although it’s in the middle of the marvellous and busy old town of Chieti. 10/10 would recommend!

A vacation overlooking beauty. A perfect home for large groups thanks to spacious spaces, with attention to detail. From the large windows light comes in from dawn to dusk and the livable kitchen is the beating heart of the house. The panoramic view really leaves you breathless. The rooms upstairs are really cozy, the only downside is the lack of light in the ones on the lower floor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is an important plus for multiple families or groups of friends. BBQ grill, pool, pool tables and Ping Pong table are the icing on the cake, which have made this house absolutely unforgettable. Obviously highly recommended.

Franco, Mariangela and their entire extended family are wonderful people. They took such good care of use while we were staying in fara. The house is exactly as described and in a fantastic location. We stayed during winter and the house was very comfortable. As Franco says it is the warmest house in fara. Thankyou for helping to make this trip so wonderful, I am sure we will meet again soon.

It was a wonderful experience, living in a beautiful and authentic home! My family and I had a great time, there was everything in the house and more we needed it! A cozy atmosphere and the cleanliness in height! Thank you very much, we'll be back for sure!

The apartment is very nice, very clean and comfortable, and can be reached very easily from the two train stations in the city, even on foot (but there are several bus lines nearby). Numerous activities nearby, cultural (Museo delle Genti d 'Abruzzo, Casa Natale di Gabriele D'Annunzio...) or leisure activities (restaurants, shops, beach...). The host, Francesco, is very helpful, and very kind!

Basically everything was as expected. Excellent value place to stay. The host also resolved the issue we caused with flexibility and patience, and a special thanks for that. The kitchen is well-equipped. The beach is really just a few steps away, and we really liked it. Overall, we were very satisfied, we can only recommend it to everyone.

Antonio was immediately very kind and made himself available for everything... times, various needs and extra tools requested by me. The house is completely new, clean and organized at its best, including all possible comforts. We were even given a bottle of delicious wine and typical Abruzzo cookies. I highly recommend this house, both for the property and the location, and for Antonio and his mom, very kind people!

Silvio was a great host. He made himself available to check in at a convenient time and welcomed us with great kindness. We appreciated that you were present without being intrusive. The house was clean and had all the useful comforts to make our stay as if we were at home. We recommend choosing Silvio's house!!!

Great little place right by beach.

A modern and very clean apartment with all the conveniences, quiet neighbourhood, great views from the terrace, easy parking, very helpful attendant and located about 10 min drive from a nice beach, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended for those looking for an active holiday combined with some work.

I only stayed at the apartment for one night but I had a really good time. I found the apartment impeccable, both for cleanliness, order, and all the comforts. Federico was very kind and very helpful! I found the check-in method very functional and simple thanks to the instructions Federico gave me! The only advice I feel like giving, is maybe to find a bottle of water in the fridge that in my opinion, should never be missing, otherwise I had a great time! If I had to come back, I would be happy to stay here again😊 Silvia
