Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Orpington

Had a great stay at Joe’s flat which is on a quiet road and a short Uber ride into town (or a moderate walk). The flat was clean and spacious with a lovely log burner also! A bit of confusion regarding the hot tub, which was shown on the pictures, but not on the description, but nevertheless an enjoyable stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the straw barn and hope we can do so again in the near future.

This was an amazing location for visiting family who lives in Crouch End. The rooms are large and we could easily spread out. Everything we needed was there, and Dennis was incredibly responsive, including sorting out a parking pass for our stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Simply a wonderful home with absolutely everything you might need. Truthfully it was even better than the photos, tastefully decorated, with lots of nice little touches like the record player with really good vinyl selection, lots of candles and to our sheer surprise also breakfast items. We travelled with a dog so the garden at the back was brilliant, a sturdy baby gate for the stairs was a great idea too. Clutter-free home meant that the pup could roam free downstairs and throws to cover the furniture were provided. we travelled in the winter and the house was warm and cosy, amazingly close to Dunorlan Park for a lovely walk. There's a corner shop nearby and the train station is either a 25min walk or £7 taxi ride. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your home Jen, all the best.

Such a perfect countryside stay! Estella is a lovely, responsive host and the cottage was absolutely perfect for my visiting family. Lots of countryside walks from the doorstep and opposite a lovely country pub with excellent food. Thank you!

We had a lovely 3-night stay in Lucy’s home. There was plenty of space for four families and it’s an amazing house with loads of character. Lucy was a great host, easy to communicate with and responsive. Would recommend.

We felt at home in Tima’s house. She is friendly and responsive. The place was amazing and a very accurate listing. 5 minutes walk to the river and It has a peaceful neighbourhood. We will come back Again.

We enjoyed a family meet up immensely. Very homey and comfortable and Diana and Mary plus their dogs were charming.

I stayed at Daisys flat for a couple of nights with girlfriends from uni visiting London and it was 5 star. Great price, quiet, spacious, clean and in such a lovely spot in London. London central but quiet and pretty Primrose Hill. We were able to walk so many places and use transport. Daisy and her team were super responsive and allowed us to drop our bags earlier. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a place in London.

We loved this apartment. Nicky was a fantastic host. She was communicative, kind and proactive. Everything was perfectly arranged. Beds were super comfortable and the apartment ja extremely quiet and peaceful despite being right on Marylebone High Street. The location is absolutely unbeatable for central London. Beautiful penthouse apartment in the heart of The Pantiles. We managed to bag a parking spot on a street just a five-minute walk away. Check-in was straightforward and the apartment itself was spotless – loved the decor and the Nespresso machine was a nice touch too. The only drawback was that we couldn’t stay for longer! We just needed a base for NYE so didn’t get to spend much time in the apartment unfortunately, but we’ll definitely be back! Roger and Katie were very communicative too and were kind enough to grant us a late checkout on New Year’s Day, which was very much appreciated 😅

The place is very spacious with modern interior design. The location was amazing, a quiet spot but still very accessible to public transport to explore London. The host was great and made communication very easy. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Thank you to Kristin for hosting us in such a beautiful apartment. It was close to the underground and cafes for us to enjoy a lovely breakfast. Perfect for us to enjoy London for my birthday. Close connections to both Paddington and Victoria where we enjoyed the theatre. We will be definitely staying here again!

Adam is unbelievable nice and the flat is very cozy with everything you need . The perfect location three minutes walk to the tube station. there are so many posh restaurants and cafes in this area. The landlord is very sweet let me check out late since my flight was in the evening. I will absolutely recommend this flat and will come back.

This was our first visit to London and we had a great experience at Jame’s place. I agree with another reviewer that the flat is even nicer than it seems. French range and high quality English taps and fixtures. Plenty of space for a couple. The bed was very comfortable and size was comparable to an American queen size. One thing that’s underrated was the location. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Notting Hill Gate tube station and the circle/central lines can get you most anywhere you need to go in 20 minutes or less. James was also very responsive. We needed help with something and he responded right away and checked back in later. Highly recommend this flat and I would gladly stay again!

Yvonne is a wonderful and flexible host! Our dates changed slightly as did our flights and she adjusted easily. She is highly responsive to messages and checked in regularly to be certain everything was going well with our stay. It was a perfect flat for the three of us (one adult, 2 children) or would well-suit a family of four. The flat is very clean and well maintained. Great place to stay near Canary Wharf! The home itself is beautiful, spacious and clean. The hot tub and sauna are luxurious and a fun treat! Kitchen is fairly well stocked and easy to cook in. A/C worked great. Washer/dryer combo machine is nice to have as well. There is a small market across the street which makes getting groceries super easy. The bus stops right in front of the house for easy transport to Canary Wharf or anywhere in the city. Great transportation connections via DLR as well. Greenwich is an easy walk and a wonderful way to spend a day. All in all a fantastic place to stay! Thanks for making it a great place for our family!

We spent New Year with a group of friends at Stuart villa for the second time. We liked our last year experience so much that we did not even look for other options. It is a wonderful space, which provides enough privacy for every one and also allows to have fun in a big group. Very big and very well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms with clean, comfortable bathrooms, fireplace, private garden, total privacy except for deer and birds. Wonderful country walks (which Stuart provides with detailed descriptions) and warm local pubs. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay for NYE at Ingram House! The bar area was a great space to relax in and the dining room and lounge area were also lovely. There was plenty of space and it was very comfortable! Highly recommend a stay here!

Julia’s place is spacious, beautiful, clean and an easy commute for us due to the Elizabeth line train station less than 5 mins walk from the house. Julia was responsive for any questions and we will definitely book again when visiting London.
