Vacation rentals with lake access in Orkdal

Beautiful home where we were lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights! The house was spacious for 4 of us, comfy, clean and had everything that we needed. We even got to meet the family’s cat :) Renate was also extremely friendly and responsive which made the whole stay pleasant. Highly recommend!

The house is lovingly renovated and cozy. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the view of the fjord and the tranquility! Right from the front door you can take long hikes or swim in the fjord. Bente is a very knowledgeable and helpful host.

We were two families with four kids ages 1-7 who had a nice weekend at this lovely place! The house is nicely located not too far from the water, and with nice terrain for walks right from the cabin. Trine responded quickly and accommodating to messages. Recommended!

Eva was a great host. Myself and two others were in town for work and did not know our completion date, thankfully Eva was able to accommodate us. We were able to book 2 more times with her. The place is a great little get away with a great view, and very clean, with great instructions on opening and closing the house. Shopping and restaurants are just 15 minutes from here house. Would highly recommend renting from her.

We stayed 10 days in this very quiet house. Surroundings are really beautiful. The supermarket is easily accessible by car. If you really want to have your peace and just enjoy some nature, this house is an excellent choice. Øystein is a wonderful host. Very friendly and attentive. The Blíck from the living room to the lake could be enjoyed the whole day. In the kitchen there is actually everything you could ever need for cooking. The rest of the decor is great. I would definitely recommend the house.

A home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. All consistent with the description. Designed cozy, you can feel at home. Instructions for guests and unreserved communication with your host. I would love to visit this house again in the future.

Our second visit was as delightful as our first. Jon's visitor cabin is a perfect retreat from the noise of the city, and has everything you need to feel warm and cozy like home. Excellent instructions for check in, a fine little kitchen and living room to eat and relax and afternoon away, and not far from highways to take you on excursions into the countryside and mountains. This is our Trondheim home away from home, and we'll be back for our third visit in no time!

The apartment is the perfect base for a few days exploring Trondheim, and wonderful that we could bring our dog. We went hiking in Lavollen and took the number 3 bus into Trondheim for a day exploring. We had take away pizza from the grill and a lovely burger from Kompis. Both just a few minutes walk. The kitchen was perfect for preparing breakfast. The place was beautifully decorated for Christmas too. Magnus was very responsive to any questions (the washing machine is in the basement!) Parking was great for our camper and we had snow whilst we stayed! We felt right at home and it’s a lovely quiet neighbourhood.

We had a wonderful 4 weeks at Anders and Ingeborg's place. The house is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature, including sea view. It is very worth coming here in winter. The road is cleared and so it is quite possible to come to the house. We had snow chains (two-wheel drive) with us as it made us feel more comfortable. For problems and questions, Ingeborg and Anders are directly available + very helpful. Both are incredibly friendly and we felt right at home. When we didn't dare to go to the supermarket because of 30 cm of fresh snow (it was cleared, but after that still 10 cm of snow), Anders and Ingeborg invited us to himself and provided us with food - this is just one of many examples of how great hosts the two are. We always had a warm fire in the fireplace, saw deer right by the house, heard owls + took beautiful hikes, also to the hut on the lake. We will be back!

I rented this apartment on my mom's behalf for a week and she loved staying there. The location was perfect, close to the center, with good public transport connections (there is a train station nearby where you can take the train to the airport). The apartment was cosy and stylish with a nice balcony and it was clean. The kitchen was practical and nice to cook in. The bed was comfortable and she slept very well. Also, Oda was a very nice host to communicate with! I highly recommend it!

Great accommodation with everything you need. Bring everything you need for cooking, like oil. There's a few bits in the cupboard. We were only there for one night so didn't want to buy a whole bottle of oil so we used margarine that we'd bought for breakfast. Not a criticism, just a heads up. The private balcony isn't in the photos but is a lovely space.
