A wonderful space with all the comforts! We were here for a weekend of ice skating in Thialf and that was excellent. Ida is very hospitable and we even got another tour of the farm.

We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay – enjoyed every bit of it! The sweet bread was a really thoughtful and yummy welcome treat, thank you! We had a great weekend and would love to come back again in the future.

Wieke welcomed us with kindness and an excellent suikerbrood!!! The house is charming, bright, spacious and well maintained. Being in a boederij, the place is conducive to calm and relaxation. Close to small supermarkets, lots of opportunities for hiking as well as cycling. this accommodation is centrally located in Friesland and therefore close to everything.

Jan received us and was very friendly and helpful. Quiet neighborhood with a beautiful nature all around, perfect studio for us 2. We definitely recommend Jan's studio!

Really relax and unwind. Beautiful surroundings and lovely cottage

We loved Tamara’s place. It was quiet and peaceful and the view was tremendous - even including a pair of stocks nesting in the back yard. Our contact, Tanja, was very responsive and flexible especially at check in. It was a perfect place for us to stay in our visit to see family and to enjoy the smaller villages in the area.

Had a very nice stay in this beautiful cottage. It looks even more beautiful in person than on the pictures. The cottage is full of comforts with a well-equipped kitchen, nice beds and a modern bathroom with a nice bathtub. Waking up to the view of the beautiful green garden is really a gift. The cottage is located in a beautiful location anyway, wonderfully quiet. Contact with Moniek and her husband went very smoothly. Highly recommended!

perfect for 2 people, especially with dog (huge green area at the house). The rural location offers a good starting point for trips to Groningen, Leeuwarden or Sneek. The house is quaint, fully equipped and decorated with charm. The village of Bakkeveen offers a variety of sports and leisure activities, as well as from the culinary high-quality restaurant to the classic Dutch snack bar. A must for bird lovers and stork lovers.
