We had a wonderful stay! The place is perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all. Rebecca was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

This cottage is absolutely gorgeous! There is so much space, with my group of 6 we didn't even get to spend time everywhere because of how much they have. There's two separate patio sets on the deck, sun room, two separate living rooms, gorgeous spacious kitchen all open concept, all right in front of a body of water with kayaks, sail boats, etc. The dock is a beautiful spot to also spend time and gaze at the stars at night. I can't recommend this spot enough.

Michael's place was perfect for a quick winter get-away! It was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend and beautiful on the inside and out. Michael was really responsive when we had questions and made sure we had all the information needed. Would definitely visit again!

A fantastic cottage in a beautiful, private location. The place has everything you need. It also offers a chance to get away and unwind — with plenty of space for friends and family to join. Westport is just down the road and worth a visit, especially the brewery. Yvonne is also a conscientious and responsive host, so you’ll be in good hands. Great host, great stay!

Our stay at Lesley and Bruce’s Windswept Cottage on Sharbot Lake was incredible. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us in person and provided a thoughtful tour with helpful instructions. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The ambiance was cozy, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the fire pit on the deck was perfect for relaxing under the stars. On the first morning of our stay, we were treated to a delicious breakfast basket with warm croissants, fresh muffins, and fruit parfaits—a delightful touch! The scenery was stunning, with wildlife sightings and access to outdoor adventures like the rail trail. The location was also great for exploring nearby towns. Every detail was carefully considered, and it was clear that Lesley and Bruce had thought of everything to make our stay special. This beautiful retreat is the perfect escape for anyone seeking comfort, nature, and true hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

We spent a weekend away from Ottawa, celebrating my birthday and a family member’s birthday with a small group of very close friends and family and it was just a perfect spot for this occasion ❤️

Don is an excellent host and the cottage is beautifully situated. Right next to a bunch of activities in Kingston and surrounding towns.

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

The cottage was great- had everything we needed! The abundance of fresh towels was awesome. Everything was clean. Kids loved fishing, we all enjoyed getting out on the river with family. Easy check in/out. We loved our stay!

We had such a lovely family retreat. The lot size was VERY spacious and had room for many outdoor activities. That said, it would have been amazing to have a fenced in yard for our dogs, but we knew what we were getting into. Everything was clean and organized. Being right on the water was amazing! The kids were able to play by the shore and we were all able to enjoy the water. Watching the sunrise over the frozen lake is a breathtaking experience, and the hot tub adds the perfect touch, making it unforgettable to soak in the warmth while surrounded by crisp winter air. Our February stay exceeded expectations, and we highly recommend it year-round. Richard was an excellent host—responsive, honest, and ensuring the place was immaculate upon arrival. We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

This home is stunning, and well equipped, in a beautiful location. It was outstanding to be right on the lake with kayaks and canoes. Nights were spent grilling, having bonfires, and looking out over the lake (or up at the stars) in the hot tub. Everything was fantastic - the only downfall is accessibility, as you need to take a ferry to the island. At the end of the day though, the ferry was just an extra piece of planning and research, but was unproblematic. Great house - thank you Maria!
