Vacation rentals with beach access in Ometepe

The penthouse is a beautiful space with an exceptional view. The sunsets are legendary! Some particularly great things were the full-sized fridge, extremely comfy bed and great access to everthing in Popoya (including breaks). We had heavy rain the second week we were there and Corey was very sympathetic to our situation. I ended up working at the coworking space down the road most days the second week, which I can also highly recommend if you need reliable internet during rainy season. Manual, the man who runs the place atm, is lovely and provided great suggestions on restaraunts and even things to do on Granada!

Amazing property with an amazing location. Staff in premises were great and helpful. The owner Aurora was very helpful. The manager of the property could be more service minded. All together this was a good experience and I would definitely recommend it.

Armando was an amazing host. All questions were dealt with in a timely manner. What a fabulous location and San Juan del Sur is a hidden gem!

Perfect beachfront location, comfortable beds and well equipped to make your stay memorable. Great restaurant choices on site and the ocean is so close it will lull you to sleep each night.

We loved our sweet cozy apartment. The location was great, quiet yet close enough to walk to restaurants and shopping. Kristen even had a little Christmas tree on the counter. So thoughtful. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful apartment with everything we needed. Carmen the property manager was so helpful and responsive which made it a great experience. Town is walkable (15 min) but you do have to cross the river (either by boat or walking if it’s low tide). I would definitely stay here again!

Claudia and James were my saving grace when I was stranded in SJDS without a place to stay during the busy Semana santa weekend. I am very grateful they were able to take me in at the last minute and took me under their wings during my short stay. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a memorable one. I can’t thank them enough. I will definitely be back to their property next time I visit SJDS. Don’t hesitate to book your stay at their place. Their property has an incredible view of the bay and it’s famous sunsets, within walking distance to everything in town but far enough away to be able to get a good night’s sleep. James also teaches surf and yoga and they are adding more amenities to their beautiful property. Muchas gracias por todo amigos!!!

The best location if you are advance, Expert surfers! Hands down🙌 the world class breaks call Colorado, Panga Drop. Also they can arrange a panga to take you to Lance's left(longest left break) for $200. This iguana community has shops, a gym also. Pay $15 for a group workout with an instructor. Pay $10 for self workout. The house was easy to find and super clean, beautiful, right on the beach and a pool. But just be careful from sand fleas during sunrise and sunset time....there are tons out there! Bring bug spray. There are so many places to eat around this house, also this house comes with full kitchen and BBQ grill, but wish had basic condiments, like olive oil, salt, pepper, paper towels, sugar etc.... We really enjoyed staying at this house. Super tranquilo😊

If you are looking for a private oceanfront accommodation, I recommend this place. It is quiet, spacious, and has a comfortable atmosphere. The ocean is within walking distance, and you can use the resort's facilities, such as restaurants! If you are looking for the most beautiful beach in Nicaragua, I recommend this place.

The house was amazing for our 14 person family - plenty of space and incredible views. The house is just two houses up from Remanso beach - which is great for beginner surfers, swimming, etc. Allan and Leticia were great on-site support for information, transportation, food and meals - and Ksenia was incredibly responsive to all of our questions prior to the visit. There are 4-5 restaurants on the beach - most of which rent surf-boards. Beach itself is wide and sandy at low tide - and there are walkable beaches nearby. Definitely a recommended site for a multi-generation family!

I scrolled back and forth between lists to find the right place for my family long weekend vacation, when I found Carly’s house I stopped, the house is WONDERFUL! I mean truly, it has everything you need, it’s warm and welcoming, the house was clean, the kitchen & bathrooms were spotless, easy access to the beach, the pool was nice, we got to enjoy the nature and of course the diversity of local animals 🐒🦋🦎🦜🐿️🦀 my children’s were thrilled! Definitely we will come back, thank you for everything!

Ricardo's place was fantastic for our family of 6 from Texas (2 adults and 4 kids). The front of the house opens up to the jungle, and we loved waking up to the sound of howler monkeys—it felt like a real adventure! Out back, the sunsets over the beach were breathtaking, and we spent every evening soaking it all in. The pool was pristine, and the kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned daily, which we really appreciated traveling with kids. The caretaker went above and beyond, helping us arrange a taxi and setting up horseback riding on the beach for the whole family. We were also relieved to find a great restaurant at the far end of the beach—it gave us peace of mind knowing that even if we didn’t make it to the grocery store in time, we’d still be covered. Overall, Ricardo's place was the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend for families!

This is the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. The place is BEAUTIFUL! Two stories with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and 3 balconies. Absolutely spotless and the decor is amazing. We were met at the correct time and also they provided two big gallons of water for our stay which was nice. 20 or so minute walk into central SJDS if you take the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing location right on the sand. Communication was crystal clear. The hosts were very accommodating . I felt extremely safe. Hacienda Iguana is a lovely community and I can't wait to return! Thank you NSR!

He showed us an incredible horse, he recommended incredible beaches and even got us to know the beach and showed us the way , very nice, everything is 100% recommended.
