Beachfront vacation rentals in Old Lyme Shores

This house is a gem! I came to stay a week in off season with my dog, Rollo. The location is breathtaking, right on the Long Island Sound. We had a great time exploring the beach, looking for all the biodiversity in the birds and sea creatures, watching the boats, and this place is relatively close to an airport so watching the planes land and take off was awsome as well. We came for privacy, and I expected the beach to be a little more private than it was due to my dog's reactivity. But the neighbors did not seem to have issues with us, and once you are close to the water, especially in low tide, the beach is pretty open for all the locals. Walking around, the locals all waved and said hello. Not too many restaurants close by, but the Lobster Shack down the road had good food! Would stay again! The deck alone was worth it!

We come to Montauk often & loved this spot. Walkable & convenient to town plus a beach pass. The accommodation had plenty of space for a family with convenient parking. Highly recommend!

Third stay at Azure cottage. A perfect location with amazing views any time of year

The place was perfect for our getaway weekend! The house is super spacious, very clean and has everything one may need to enjoy your stay. The host was friendly, accommodating and always available to answer any questions we may had. Will absolutely recommend this place

Incredible Views and Ultra-Comfortable Cottage! This is an absolute hidden gem of a place - it is RIGHT on the water (you feel like you're on a cruise ship at high tide, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves is super dreamy!), immaculately clean, both cozy and spacious, filled with thoughtful touches (extra blankets and pillows, earplugs, welcome snacks, etc.), and REAL PLANTS!! Matthew and Celia were so flexible, friendly, and responsive, making the entire stay feel all the more peaceful. This is for sure the place we will return to when in the New Haven area - highly highly recommend!

Dorina was a terrific host. She responded in a very timely manner to our questions as we prepared for our vacation. The location was a mere 5 minute walk to the beach and on rainy days, you didn't mind being inside since the layout is open and sunny. When I mentioned that a family member had asthma, Dorina offered and arranged to have an air purifier placed in the house, which was very thoughtful. The house is extremely clean (something which is very important to me) and was a wonderful venue for us to host our family.

This home!!, I empathize that because it felt like we belonged there was incredible. It was just as described and the host were quick to answer all of our questions. They suggested various things to do around town, but sadly we already had an itinerary of things we were doing, so we could not visit them. We went for new years so we didn’t visit the beach. We are thinking about going back in the summer to get the whole experience of the area.

Great stay!! Beautiful ocean view and the complex itself is recently renovated, much more modern and luxe than expected!

The house and landscaping were lovely, our girls loved the huge yard to play in and the cozy TV room for downtime. Spencer was super responsive and helpful, we appreciated the area recommendations for exploring. We had a great visit and would highly recommend a stay here!

Michael was an amazing host - he was responsive, kind, gracious and incredibly helpful in getting our large group of girls comfortable in his home. He gave us a ton of great food recommendations and tips for things to do around town. The house (especially the yard) exceeded expectations and looked even better in real life than in the photos. We loved our experience here!

This place was perfect! It looks exactly like the pictures and was perfectly clean inside. Doug was always responsive for any questions we had. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the weekend. Would definitely come back and stay again

This house was absolutely perfect for my friends and I to gather together. The space was so comfortable and open which is perfect for a large group. We could all be doing something different but still close and comfortable. The location was perfect, easy parking between the driveway and street spots. The house had everything we needed, great bedroom setups. We didn’t have any kids with us but this would be a perfect place for facilities to come together. We want to come back in the summer and use the pool! Wouldn’t change a thing if we were to rent this home again. The host was super helpful and responsive and very friendly. 10/10 experience overall.

Overall relaxing stay and trip to Greenport. Sherri is very communicative and her instructions and listing is clear and accurate. The condo is well decorated and clean and has everything you need for a nice weekend. One thing to note- we were aware check in is between 3 and 5 pm based on the listing (wound up being around 4) but it would be nice for it to be earlier. Still 5 stars though!

Such a lovely home right on the water! Spent a cozy New Year’s Eve here with 6 people, great location to downtown Greenport. The home has a ton of character, one of the reasons we’d love to be back!

Tom's house was a perfect place to spend the holidays. The location was ideal for visiting with extended family, and the views were unparalleled. We hope to rent his property again in the future!

We had a wonderful girls weekend at this location! The house was just what we needed to sit back, relax and enjoy our weekend. Close proximity to town so we were able to walk into town to shop and visit some of the local restaurant's. Would definitely book again:)

Aimee’s house on Shelter Island was the perfect getaway for Thanksgiving. The home is warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The location is serene and peaceful, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle. Aimee was a fantastic host—responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout. We truly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Great location on wide, beautiful, private beach! Lots of outdoor space on beach and patio with grill for BBQ. Kayaks and SUPs were at provided, too. House is surprisingly spacious with seating for many in living room and dining table. Kitchen is large and supplied with basics needed for stay. Primary bedroom is huge and all the beds are very comfortable! Jillian was great with communication. Had a great time with our family spending days on beach, grilling dinner and bonfires at night!

We had a wonderful time! Highly recommended!

Albeit an off season stay, Brandon's home was exactly what we were looking for! A secluded location with unparalleled view and access to Lake Montauk. Beautiful property with the right amenities. Easy access to town and various locations in the area.
