The cabin was perfect. Well maintained and great location. Access was easy and has everything we needed. Loved sitting by the firepit and in the jacuzzi. Access down to the river was great and the landscape beautiful. Close to Old Forge and many hiking trails. Pictures don't do it justice.

Winter Vacation in the Adirondacks Our stay at Pinecone Place in Long Lake, NY, was magical. The cabin exuded warmth and charm, making it the perfect retreat for a winter getaway. With its rustic ambiance and the serene, snowy landscape just outside, it was an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Whether curling up inside with a hot drink or heading outdoors to explore, every moment felt special. The cabin was impeccably equipped, featuring a modern kitchen that made cooking easy and enjoyable, multiple TVs for those who didn’t fully unplug, and a pristine hot tub—a luxurious treat after a day in the cold. Nature’s beauty was fully displayed during our visit to Buttermilk Falls, where the mighty cascade was breathtaking against the winter backdrop. The frozen lakes in the area were equally captivating, offering postcard-perfect views and countless photo opportunities. This trip was the ideal combination of cozy relaxation and awe-inspiring adventure.

The place is just incredible. My family and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful place where we could forget about everyday life and the fast pace of life. Special thanks to Chris for his recommendations and clear instructions. Another plus is that in winter we were able to enjoy the hot tub with a view of the forest with fir trees and lots of snow. We felt like we were in a fairy tale. We will definitely come back if we have the opportunity :)

We really enjoyed our stay. We would have like to have had better cookware, since we make our own meals. The pots were ceramic and chipped up bad.

What a hidden gem!! Everything was wonderful and the location is amazing. A little hard to find, but worth it because it was private. TVs did work well but we weren’t there to watch TV. The place was clean and it had EVERYTHING we needed. It had every pot, pan and spice you could ever ask for. Plenty of seating, rooms were nice, porch was amazing. Plenty of places to sleep. We would absolutely go back anytime!! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Our stay was everything we expected and more. The house was beautiful and the scenery was the same. Peaceful and quite and just enough with the town. Christian reached out with things to do with the new year which was very nice and helpful on deciding on where to go. Will defiantly be staying again in the summer!

My husband and I stayed at the cabin for a weekend of snowmobiling. The cabin was clean and cozy. The location is great and directly on the trails. You can ride to multiple restaurants and get gas right around the corner. We would definitely stay again!

This was an amazing winter escape. It was super peaceful, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place was well stocked and the couch and beds were very cozy! Even though we had to drive through a snowstorm, the roads were well taken care of. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions. I’d definitely recommend it and can’t wait to return in the warmer months!

Our stay at Tiffany and Adam's cabin was the perfect destination for an anniversary weekend celebration! Tiffany was communicative, detail oriented and so sweet! We loved the serenity of the TR property, the white noise of the babbling creek and the cozy amenities of the cabin. Renting the sxs was a blast and was a great way to explore local trails as a family. An added bonus was having the flexibility to include our dog on vacation. We can't wait to return next year!!

Another spectacular stay at Camp Cocoon. We arrived to a cozy, peaceful and welcoming cabin which provided everything we could have possibly needed, and the view was a huge bonus. Always hard to leave and already looking forward to next time. Thank you for being such a wonderful host Judy! The bottle of wine was so much appreciated as well!!! ten stars!!

The cabin was great! We felt right at home and it was very cozy. Kasey is super friendly and easy going. Any questions we had she helped us with immediately. The location is great, easily accessible and directly on the snowmobile trail right out of the driveway. Myself and my buddies can’t wait to book again in the future.

We had a peaceful stay here! Nestled in a serene, snowy landscape, the cabin felt like a winter wonderland straight out of a postcard. perfect for unwinding and disconnecting from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cabin itself was cozy and well-equipped, with warm, rustic charm and all the amenities you could need. The host was responsive and helpful! Very friendly to interact with. Here are our nearby recommendations: Northshore Coffee Co; The Blend Cafe; Verona Beach State Park; Views from Bay nearby of the lake; Hiking at Forest State Park.

We had the best stay! All we wanted to do was relax and that is exactly what we did! This place was even better in person than the pictures! The sound of the creek was so peaceful and relaxing! The place was so homey and tranquil! 10/10 highly recommend this stay if your looking to unwind! We want to come back in the summer to do some fishing!

If your looking for a quiet place with the extras this place is for you. Close to restaurants, bars and shopping. Beautiful inside and very homey. we will definitely stay there again. Five stars all the way.

We had a wonderful time exploring the areas parks and waterfalls and riding the ATV trails right from the cabin was great! Loved the fire pit and would definitely stay here again! Great host too! Very responsive and helpful!

This cabin was perfect for a fall weekend getaway. It was centrally located to multiple popular spots to shop, eat, and hike. The host was extremely responsive and willing to be flexible when I thought I would have to change my booking due to a death in my family. I would absolutely stay again!

Dan's place is the perfect cozy cabin to escape to the ADKs. The beds are super comfortable, the pool table and sauna were a great addition to the weekend. Full kitchen and clean home with cute Adirondack vibes.

This might be the best air b and b I have stayed at. My husband and I were celebrating our birthday weekend, and we just wanted a romantic getaway for the two of us (and our pup). That’s exactly what we got. Every detail from the robes to the ready to bake goods(which are made by Rose and so delicious) to couch cover for our dog was thought of. You can tell eye for detail Rose has throughout the cabin. Even my husband, who is not really a person who gets excited about hotels/air b and b stays, was truly impressed by where we stayed. We both agree that when we go back to Old Forge, we don’t need to try to stay anywhere else. This is perfect!

We had a beautiful, snowy weekend at The Outpost. Erin's guidebook was excellent, and we had a great time at the Buckhorn bar visiting with friends, and Erin and Dave themselves! The front porch light and pellet stove was on when we arrived in the evening which was very welcoming. We noticed other cabins near by but it was cozy and peaceful while we were there. The Outpost had everything we needed and thoughtful amenities. Erin was a great host and we'd definitely stay here again!
