Beach house vacation rentals in Ocean Beach

This spot is incredible!! Rented it for me, my partner and a few of our friends for my birthday and it was truly a spectacular landing spot!! Robert is very communicative and available about any needs and the view cannot be beat. Will note that while they are pet friendly, they don’t like animals on the furniture and also it is a glitter free space, if you are a sparkly gay like myself, it may not be the space for you!

This lovely home is was exactly like it appeared to be in the photos. It is located steps away from the ferry, delicious restaurants, and the ocean. While the beach is bayside the ocean and public beach is just a short walk down the street. We enjoyed beach combing, the Schooner restaurant, our water taxi to the lighthouse, and our walk to the sunken forest. Luke, the host, was very responsive. His guide to Fire Island was extremely helpful as well. We highly recommend this home for a peaceful getaway.

The house has amazing views to the surroundings and getting to it by walking a short stretch on the sand is part of the adventure. I would recommend it to experience relaxation and have a good feel of that part of the island. It’s fully equipped with bbq, outdoor shower, bikes, cart to carry things around. One thing is that we brought enough food for a few days because except biking or taking the water taxis to nearby centers, it’s quite remote (and it’s good for that reason as well).

This house in Point Lookout was lovely. Only steps away from the beach. Provided all the extras - bikes, chairs… Dan was a great host. We’ll definitely stay again!

We stayed here for the 1st time earlier in 24 and it wqas perfect. This last trip was even better. The weather was amazing. The beach is 5 houses away. Many outstanding restaurants in the village. We felt welcome and right at home.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at The Surf Shack. The the house was just right for us with 3 kids with plenty of space inside the house and on the deck the kitchen is very well appointed with everything we needed in for breakfast smoothies, picnics and grilling. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the fact that the house is right by the beach! It’s also a very easy walk in to town for ice cream, iced coffees and supplies. We were all in and out of town multiple times on all the days. Joseph was super friendly, helpful and quickly answered any questions I had about the local community and activities and deliveries to the island. He was very flexible on arrival and check out times and an ideal host. We would love to come back and stay and would recommend it to other visitors to Fire Island.

Five star visit across board. Beautiful home just big enough for six adults. Perfect location, owners easy to get in touch with if anything was needed or a question or two. Highly recommend! Highlights (for me!) were outdoor shower and second toilet :) as well as very comfortable bed in master. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas. 2-3 minute walk to beach, 1 min walk to coffee shop. Will be staying again!

The stay was great, Sam allowed us to check in a little early to make sure the wedding cake didn’t melt. The weekend was great and the stay was perfect. I would highly recommend Sam as your host.

the house was extremely comfortable...quiet yet close to town and a 5 minute easy walk to the beach. it's a little small, with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, but well-appointed. the pool is gorgeous. shawn was extremely responsive to any questions we had .

I cannot describe accurately how lovely and comfortable Jonathons house is It was more than perfect for us in every way! The fenced in yard was perfect for our little dog and we all enjoyed turkeys and deer hanging out. Walking the neighborhood and to the beach with leaves changing It couldn’t have been any better.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bellport, it was extremely clean! The kitchen/baths were well appointed. The yard is gorgeous and the pool was delightful. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms are beautiful. Such a great place!

The space was quite spacious, offering a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle above. The pool was a highlight—well-maintained and perfect for a refreshing swim. The jacuzzi was equally impressive, providing a relaxing soak after a long day. The basement layout was surprisingly spacious and well-designed, making it a comfortable retreat. The space was equipped with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The privacy of having a private pool and jacuzzi added an extra touch of exclusivity and luxury. Overall, the combination of a private pool and jacuzzi in such a well-maintained and spacious basement made for a truly enjoyable and memorable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Yolanda’s house. Unfortunately we were in town for our dear aunt’s funeral, but having this lovely, cozy place to retire to was so comforting. Yolanda was quick to respond when I had a question, and there were ample towels and clean bedding. I would highly recommend this place.

We needed rest and relaxation and Davis Park is the place for it. This beach house is exactly what we wanted. You can see the owners personality all throughout with beach art and driftwood. They love the house. We especially loved the outdoor shower. Kitchen had everything we could ever need. BBQ and Dinner each night on the extra large outdoor table. Jigsaw puzzles and games available. There is a tv but we didn't watch it. Everything was just right. We would go again!!!!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house! It’s RIGHT on the water and the pool is literally right alongside the ocean - the house itself was beautifully decorated, clean and had a great sunroom where we spent most of our time. It has lots of bedrooms and a big kitchen and a big table in the living room. Huge backyard and great pool. Peaceful neighborhood. Elizabeth was a great host and always responsive. Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice - this is probably the most peaceful and beautiful Airbnb I have stayed in. Highly recommend!

Really liked this house - quiet and secluded with the family. Good amenities, lovely back yard, and peaceful surroundings. About 20 mins to the beach by the time you park and walk across. A 10-15 min walk to a little dock with a playground for young kids. Thanks for the stay!

This Airbnb exceeded all expectations and truly had everything we needed and more! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated the space was. The attention to detail in the decor added such a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. The shower was incredibly comfortable, a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. There was plenty of room for rest and relaxation, and every corner seemed thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. This place had everything we could have wanted and more, and we couldn’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a spot that combines style, comfort, and a touch of luxury, this is the one! We’d happily stay here again!

Great location. Fun to walk down to the waterfront and check out the ducks and make a stop at the Copenhagen Bakery where everything is delish. Also close to the train station. House is very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our holiday meals.

Joe is an absolutely wonderful host. Our entire group had a great time!

This home is perfect for our families needs. The large backyard and outdoor living area was divine. Love the Bellport location close to cute shops as well as the water. Great little playground in the private community beach for our daughter. Host was so kind and quickly came to replace propane gas for grill when we asked. Thanks so much for hosting us!
