Munezero’s place is a spacious guesthouse that was perfect for our American family of 3 adults to stay. The guesthouse was very comfortable with 2 sizable bedrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, sitting area, and a bathroom with a hot water shower. Everything was very clean. Munezero’s home is right off a paved road and she provided Google map directions so it was easy to find. Munezero was very welcoming once we arrived! In the kitchen she provided a complimentary spread for breakfast including fresh fruits, a loaf of bread, eggs, and a selection of teas. She was very helpful with local recommendations and even offered to connect us with guides. We would definitely come back when we’re in town!

The drive there was hard but the place was super nice with a beautiful view, Philemon was very helpful and clean and my favorite was Zulu the Dog! Great place

This guesthouse is a lovely option on lake Bunyonyi. It is very private and located in a beautiful location. The internal space is a touch dark but very spacious and comfy. The kitchen works well and eating outside overlooking the lake is lleinderful. Please note that the bathroom is located outside the property in a separate structure. In addition, you will need to self cater and bring all supplies with you. The caretaker is a nice guy who can help with everything but it may help with communication if you can speak rukiga. Otherwise, highly recommended.

My wife and I had an incredible stay during our honeymoon on Lake Bunyoni -- absolutely beautiful surroundings -- there's a circle hut lodge with two large beds and that is very secure -- opens to large front and wraparound deck that overlooks Lake Bunyoni up high from the water -- very peaceful and tranquil and we had the pleasure of seeing several Crested Cranes perched out in front, there's a short grassy area in between the lodge and the lounge area -- where there's an open but covered pavilion that has an enclosed and attached kitchen -- kitchen is rustic but has everything you need to cook with -- stove, pots and pans, utensils, coffee makers -- bring all needed food supplies, spices, butter, etc with you -- staff is always near by if you need anything and they will check in on you frequently -- Josia, Amon, and the others were all awesome ! We mostly relaxed but did do a brief canoe ride (good workout) and took the hike to the blacksmith !! Host always helpful and responsive !!

Our stay at Bertrand's place in Ruhengeri / Musanze was great. We travelled in a group; having the annex and the main house for the two distinctive parts of our groups really helped. The annex is still very spacious to have four people stay there incl. a separate terrace and a separate living room area. The living room area in the main house is super spacious, and there are two terraces to the front and the back. The entire accommodation - kitchen and bathrooms incl. - is spotless clean, linen, towels and mattresses are new. The area is quite, which is wonderful when traveling there from noisy Kigali. Communication with Betrand and Imma was always timely and easy.

Donald is always innovating, trying to create a better experience for the guests. The place changes every time and that’s a good thing. He is responsive to feedback and communicates clearly for the comfort of the guest.

Alberto was very accommodating and went through extra mile to make our guests feel at home. They had not thought about breakfast and reached out to him for ideas and within a short time he had arranged their feast. Central part of Musanze and beautiful neighborhood.
