It is our second time here, we love the quietness of the place and the beautiful countryside. Pirjo is a great host, responding to queries quickly.

a very beautiful chalet, very well equipped. All appliances are of very good quality and in perfect working order. The cleanliness is impeccable. we were there in January: very few occupied cottages around and the feeling of being alone in the world in a little corner of heaven. We loved nature: frozen lake, cross country skiing, hiking in very refreshing landscapes.

The winter getaway was beautiful snowy and peaceful surroundings, a cozy cottage, beautiful views, a good sauna, the possibility of winter sports, a shop nearby. These all came true in this place! Our vacation was very successful, thanks to the host 😊

We had two fantastic weeks of vacation in the beautiful cabin. Great for fishing, sauna, bathing, mushroom picking, etc. The surroundings are simply fantastic. The communication with Jussi was always straightforward. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!

We spent a family Christmas in a clean and cozy cottage that was in a beautiful and peaceful location within convenient distance of Koli's services. The beach sauna for an additional fee was definitely worth the price. Check-in was easy and we felt welcome, Helena had even left us a tree with decorations and a Christmas chocolate!

I would like to come here every year for winter and summer. This place is a dream!

This was the best chalet / mökki we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Finland. The photos of the interior don't do it justice: the living room is very big and great for relaxing. The bedrooms are small but functional, and the sauna is easy to work (electric) with a view of the lake from the window. The lake was perfect for our kids, with a sandy, very shallow beach. We enjoyed a trip out on the lake in the boat and swam a few times. We also had a barbecue using the brick pit in the garden. A great place to chill and enjoy the great outdoors (Kolovesi National Park is only 25 mins away).

The posting is very accurate: a peaceful cottage in the woods with lake access. There are XC trails nearby that can be walked. The place is remote, but not far from a bus station if needed. Host provided potable water and there were plenty of heat sources to stay warm. A lovely and affordable retreat for anyone looking to escape into nature.
