Cute shepherds hut, incredible views and a great host. Everything was pretty much perfect and as described by Matt...the only thing missing was the weather!

We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

Lovely place to get away for the weekend with family and dogs too! Everywhere was spotless and was a really warm cosy lodge, would definitely recommend and would go again! The host was very responsive and friendly.

I would say it’s the best house I have ever been in for my one-week journey. The housewares are in good condition, the beds allow sleeping comfortably, and the kitchen - which is the best of all - has all kinds of seasonings and ingredients (even including several Chinese ones!) and kitchenwares! We have a lovely stay there and a fabulous meal cooked by ourselves! Speaking of the surroundings, you can literally walk to anywhere in this small town from the house within 15 mins. What’s more, the house is located at the High Street, where you can find tons of interesting stores and restaurants.

This property is top notch. The location is so peaceful and the views from the bedroom are stunning. First thing I did every morning was open the shutters and drink in the view of the sea. In addition the home is so very tastefully appointed and really is a classy holiday home. Little extras like biscuits, cleaning materials and kitchen consumables were really appreciated. Future guests should be prepared to drive by car into Lyme Regis though or face the uphill walk home - about 20 minutes up a steep hill. My husband really enjoyed it but I found it hard - I suppose it depends on your fitness level. We had no luck in getting a taxi or a bus but we were there over the Christmas/New Year period so that could be the reason. On the other hand it is so convenient to get to lovely places like Beer, Weymouth and Dorchester. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and like many other previous guests we did not want to leave.

We had a wonderful stay at Andy’s place. He was very welcoming, showed us how to use the oven (as we were cooking Christmas dinner for 9), the heating, etc. The house was in a great location with lots to do in the local area. Would recommend a stay here. Thanks Andy!

Fantastic location and well equipped property Perfect for guests with dog/dogs, easy access to beach and there is a great restaurant within a short walk Andrew the host was helpful and knowledgable Peaceful place with stunning views of the sea, great place to escape !

The place was great - really nice flat, well setup and tastefully decorated. The place was clean and well organised with everything you need and more. The location was perfect, everything is within walking distance. The layout of the flat is spacious and airy - so a very comfortable place to be when the weather is not playing along. Roz communicated proactively and is very friendly and accomodating. Greate find!
