Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Northern Bruce Peninsula

We had three couples stay for two nights at Kathy’s place and had a wonderful time. The house had so many positives: it was very clean, private, had a cozy living room to relax in, a covered back porch with very comfortable seating, a well equipped kitchen and the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone their private space. Perfect for our group!

We had an amazing stay at Abby’s Place! The property is located in a peaceful and scenic area, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we would highly recommend Abby’s Place to anyone looking for a serene and enjoyable retreat.

We enjoyed our stay—the listing was as described: clean, comfortable, and with a nice backyard. We stayed for two nights and kept things quiet, yet received a notification from Airbnb about a noise complaint, which seemed tied to past neighbor concerns. The first night, we arrived late and went straight to bed, and the second night, we spent some time by the firepit and were inside by about 11 p.m. The host was responsive leading up to checkout, though I haven’t heard back post-stay to settle a small outstanding payment. Overall, a pleasant experience!

We passed a wonderful weekend at Meaford in winter. The house was as described, beautiful and cozy to enjoy the ski resorts nearby. Jenny was always available to answer and question or instruction. Good place to spend a peaceful break from the daily routine.

Irene was so accommodative and responded quickly to our queries. The place was so awesome and well maintained. Best place to relax and have some fun time with family and friends.We were a group of 6 people and all of us enjoyed our stay here. Planning to visit again soon during summers 😊

My Hubby and I stayed the weekend and we loved the home! It was very cozy, modern and clean. The house layout was perfect for just us two and quickly felt at home. The property itself is private and we loved how magical it felt with the snow/nature. The neighborhood is very pleasant as well, we enjoyed walking around, visited the beach and many stores were only 10 min drive. I highly recommend staying, we def would be back!

Dorothy's was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend. The entire space is super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the forest and the firepit area make it a serene and relaxing environment to spend a weekend away.

Wendy is an amazing host, the home is super cozy and has a beautiful view of the backyard. It's a nice and quiet, great place to stay in the winter. Would definitely come back when we get the chance

We had a great 3 night stay at Sarah’s place! It was the perfect cozy spot for us to relax and very close to our family who lives in Owen sound. The bed was very comfy , kitchen was perfect for cooking. Fireplace made it very cozy. Very grateful for the delicious coffee and few snacks! Sarah was very helpful to communicate with. We felt at home and would come stay again! Thanks very much!

Mary and her partner were wonderful hosts. We stayed at their place during a very bad snowstorm and they looked after us like their own family. They kept the driveway shoveled for us to come in and out, even during the storm and they let our dog meet their donkeys and goats and we're very helpful throughout our stay. The accommodation is very pet friendly and they left some treats and other pet supplies. The house in general had all the necessities required for a stay including a fully functioning kitchen and a smart TV.

Very nice and welcoming space. Was exactly as shown in the pictures and the view of Penetang Bay was beautiful even in winter. Great kitchen space for cooking family meals and rooms were well-appointed with clean and comfortable beds. Will definitely visit again in the summer!

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi’s - the loft is clean and cozy, and the surroundings are calm and peaceful. We loved that there was a wood-burning fireplace to keep us nice and toasty. To top it all off, Heidi even offered us some delicious carrot cake. Thanks Heidi, Rudy, and doggo Max - hope to stay again in the future! :)

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Gerard’s place! It was just as described from the pics and Gerard provided very clear instructions which made checking in seamless. The place was very clean, spacious, and right on the water! There was also a ton of things to do including kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, board games, a gym with weights as well as a fully stocked kitchen. We had a great time and would definitely come back again in the future!

Great place to stay for the price and everything we needed was nearby, food, grocery stores and the blue mountain resort were all only a 5 minute drive away. Hosts were very friendly and were always there if we needed to reach them.

We spent a wonderful two nights at Karen and Steven’s airbnb. We unexpectedly had the first snow of the year during our stay and it was like a magical winter wonderland. We felt so cozy inside with the fireplace watching the snow slowly falling outside. We went on an amazing hike on old baldy trail which was easily accessed right from the backyard of the property on foot. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and given the snow, we were thankful that we had great walkable options. We so hope to be able to come back and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in the woods and nature. We had the most peaceful stay, we were arriving in a snow storm and Jill was just a fantastic host! She ensured to shovel clear paths for us and ensured we had what we needed. The cottage was the perfect spot to relax and be cozy. Thank you so much for having us!

Thoroughly enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful, cozy, private and peaceful log cabin. Everything you could ever need is available at this property, and our host Susan was incredibly accommodating, friendly, helpful, and responsive. Beautiful, quiet area, short walk to the amazing beach, and hiking/walking trail very close by. Highly recommend this wonderful property for a relaxing getaway!

Neil has done an incredible job creating an escape amongst the tree on his wood-lot property. We’ve stayed in the cabin a few times now and it never disappoints. It’s a very cozy space and the wood fire stove keeps it toasty with very little effort. The breakfast is amazing - a basket filled with home backed goods and treats, local produce & preserves. More than enough for the two of us. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet private space to relax and unwind.

A small group of us (6) stayed at Emily's place for 2 nights while snowmobile in the area. It's a beautiful old farmhouse with many updates and excellent hosts that are on top of supplies and anything you may need for your stay. I've traveled all over Canada and the U.S and stayed at over 30 different Airbnb's, Emily's place stands out as possibly the best equipped yet! It's a great area to get away from the city. Close by but felt like a different world. You won't regret booking here!

Our reactive dog was able to have free run of this property. No neighbours, no livestock, no worries about off leash play. Perfectly private, and wonderfully cosy, with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for another lovely visit - we'll be back.

stunning place inside and out, perfect location, and lots of lovely touches like the steamshower, firepit, board games, very well stocked kitchen, fast wifi and Netflix, cozy fireplaces, and multiple seating areas and bed options. There were some inconsistencies in the ad in terms of stating some things were provided and then also not, so just so everyone knows, there is drinking water, bedding, towels and pillows, and there was a key to the bunkee by the kitchen. Unfortunately, we were given the wrong code and their cell numbers listed did not work, so we had trouble checking in. Once that was resolved, we had a fabulous stay and think the price was extremely affordable for such a large and wonderful place.
