Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Northcote

We used this place to travel into the city for the Australian open.The train station was a short walk followed by a short train ride .The place was extremely clean and had everything we needed.

Aurelie's home was a wonderful place to stay. Clean and well positioned in the Melbourne suburbs. Great communication from host on arrival and departure. Nice touches of a welcome gift and message. Couldn't fault.

Just loved my Stay at Marline’s home! I felt exactly like that at home & just so relaxed! Marline was just so awesome with her help & communication. The goodie pack of milk , bread , eggs , Tim tams was just a lovely welcoming touch.Will be back again for sure ☺️… And thank you again Marline for everything!!

Beautiful house, had all the amenities we needed. Close to the Showgrounds (we were visiting for equitana). Secure and safe. Very quiet street. Fantastic value for money. Had a small issue with the dishwasher on check in. It was replaced the next day! Very impressed with the host and the house. Thank you

This is a really fantastic place to stay in Melbourne. The house felt very spacious for our party of 7 - it's light and airy - the beds are really comfortable - we liked the huge TV - the kitchen is well-stocked and the entire house is very clean. Really lovely feel to the place too - it's clearly well looked-after - and unbeatable value for money. Great location as well - we loved being near the train station for easy access to Melbourne, plus shops/supermarket/takeaway all close by. Kevin is really great to deal with - so helpful and polite at every stage. Already planning our next visit!

Maria’s house is beautiful, and certainly very spacious! Everything is incredibly comfortable, and it has a very relaxing atmosphere. The garden is huge, with a beautiful oak tree, and would be lovely to sit under in the warmer weather. It is in very quiet area that is close to Maling road, and would be easy to get to the city from. Maria is lovely to communicate with, and left us a little treat! We would thoroughly recommend staying here! Thank you :)

Rebecca’s home was beautiful and in a great location, walking distance to great cafes and restaurants. The house had everything we needed for our short trip (including a little office space for our remote work) and the kids bedroom was filled with toys and books. The pool and outdoor area was our favourite spot and a big hit with the kids. We visit Melbourne often and would definitely book with Rebecca again.

Thanks for a great experience. Clear instructions to get into the home, clean and well presented home for my family to stay, and fantastic location close to QV markets, cafes, and restaurants. For a family sized Airbnb, it would have been improved if we had a second set of keys to get in and out easier when our family had to split up.

Ethan’s place was an amazing home away from home - really comfortable for our family of 4 & so central! The apartment is in an amazing spot right in the QV block to explore food options & collect groceries. Within the free tram zone, commuting was a breeze. The kitchen & laundry were really handy for our longer stay and the pool was fantastic and clean. Ethan was the most helpful, accommodating host you could ask for - thank you so much for sharing your great apartment! Highly recommended to future guests . We’re looking forward to our next visit already😊

I needed a place to stay quickly and the host responded so quickly, and allowed me to check in early as well! I can't believe how comfy the beds are! the pillows are the hard ones that I like as well!. its also super close to QV and Melbourne Central, allows me to move around quickly. The host is amazingly responsive, and when asked for a spare key, he turned that around on the same day. if anyone is looking to stay near the city, this is the place!

The place is centrally located and easy access to bus, tram and metro services. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Anthony is a very helpful host. Enjoyed my stay.

Fantastic location for exploring Melbourne! Particularly handy for catching a night session at the AO tennis and being able to walk back home. Endless activities & food spots nearby as well as being close to Flinders St station if you want to venture further out. The apartment itself was comfortable and had all the basic ammenities we needed.

Madriena's apartment was very comfortable with three bedrooms. The apartment is in a fantastic location with a Woolworths Metro close by, and lots of restaurants in nearby Harwdware Lane. Mariena was very responsive and friendly in all communication. I would highly recommend.

This place is as what Dr Fred published and more. The apartment itself is literally situated on the doorstep to the NGV! It is in a prime location to all the local Melbourne attractions and with the Supermarket nearby made everything super convenient. The apartment had everything we needed plus extra items for a toddler i.e high chair and games for kids which was very handy for us. For the price, just can’t beat it!

We stayed one month at Jo Anne's and appreciated the welcome card and facilities. It was comforting to know that Jo responded very quickly to emails. The appartment was well equipped with every facility required which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We have no hesitation in recommending this appartment to others. John and Colette Ireland

Whilst I never met the host I absolutely did not need to. All instructions were clear and easy to follow, no issues with the property or the description and the only issue we had was quickly corrected over text due to the fact they always replied quickly to text. Property itself was clean, tidy and had all of the equipment you would need. Location was spot on. Would absolutely book again!

Place was cozy and really nice. Location was the best, we walked outside and the tram station is right there with trams leaving every 5 min to the city. There is a woolies nearby which is good for supplies. Would recommend for couples or people going solo.

Daniela was absolutely amazing and communicated efficiently. She also left myself and my partner a bottle of champagne to celebrate our wedding! It made our stay feel extra special 😊

We stay in different spots when visiting Melbourne and this place is on Spencer St, nearly opposite Southern Cross Station. Great access for trains and trams, good cafes , restaurants and shopping nearby. The apartment was well laid out and the aircon worked well.

The apartment was fantastic, just what I needed for attending a conference at the Melbourne convention centre. Super easy to get around the city and to and from the airport as well as the apartment was right in front of a Tram stop. Great hosts, so helpful, with lots of great local info.
