From start to finish I had an amazing experience! When booking I looked at pictures and was the exact same in person had a cosy feel to it , the view was beautiful in the snow. There was a heater for cold weather and it made the cabin so warm, we also had lots of extra blankets! Jackie offered help where needed , so helpful with where to eat and offered food if I couldn’t get any. She was very responsive and friendly with directions and enquiries. Would definitely book to go again ! Thank you very much Jackie.

Jo is a fantastic host and the place was absolutely amazing. We had such a nice relaxing weekend away from busy life in London and this was exactly what we needed. Tranquil scenery, warm and cozy flat and amazing walks and pubs very close by. We will definitely be coming back again and we urge others to come here too!

We had an absolutely incredible weekend at Jane’s lovely studio. Right from the offset, the communication between Jane and I was 10/10 and she was extremely welcoming when we arrived on Friday. It made a lovely change being greeted in person by the host, Jane. When it comes to the air bnb itself, we couldn’t have asked for more. The space came fully equipped with everything you could possibly need including food (eggs, bread, cakes, snacks, milk etc) and even toiletries. We could’ve essentially turned up empty handed! The studio is a great, cosy space in a lovely quiet location. Perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of busy life. Thank you so much Jane🤍

I honestly don’t know what all to put here as we are limited to 1,000 characters. Yes, the cottage was beautiful, cozy, peaceful and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. And yes, Brixworth is certainly a lovely village that we enjoyed getting to learn about. But that all pales in comparison to enjoying the company of the hostess herself, Ruth. She is the most lovely, gracious, and welcoming woman you could ever want in a hostess. The breakfasts we enjoyed with her were easily the highlight of our entire adventure in the UK. As a first-time visitor to England I believe the country would experience a great boost to tourism if every visitor to England were required to walk through her welcoming and peaceful doors. Cheers to you Ruth, and to everyone who has the good sense to book your cobblers cottage.

Canalside living all lit up for Christmas, this was a perfect stay. With plenty of choice for walking and dining and when we got back to base we could while away the time either boat and bird watching, reading the ample supply of books, or watching telly/Netflix. All the amenities we needed were provided and more, and we loved the continental style breakfast which really is extensive. Great attention to cleanliness, sanitising and freshening living spaces with an understanding of the winter flu season and covid. All very thoughtful and considerate. Thank you Heather and Hayley for having us.

Gail and Mark’s house is beautiful and situated in a very quiet street in the middle of Oakham. It’s a short walk to the high street where there are a selection of pubs and shops. The house itself is beautifully maintained and has everything we needed for our weekend stay. It was warm and welcoming, just what was needed on a very cold weekend.

Booked the studio flat for my elderly parents to stay in over Christmas as our house was full. Lovely space for them, warm, very clean and perfect space for them. The spiral staircase to access the flat wasn’t an issue even though my Dad is more of a shuffler these days. Shane was really helpful, friendly and there to support if needs be. Teas, coffee, breakfast provisions and a tidy kitchenette meant they could have something to eat, especially the home made honey. I would highly recommend the space.

Had a lovely long week end staying at the Up Above. It’s cosy, warm private and had private parking. It was easy to get to pubs, walks, farm house and farm shops so the location was great. Caroline was also a great host, very proactive, easy to follow her directions and when we left a set of keys there immediately sent them back. We had a great stay! Thanks Caroline.

Melissa and Marie-Clare went above and beyond to ensure I got to the location safely as it was my first time travelling alone and was very unfamiliar to the area. During my stay, they recommended beautiful walks and things to see, a variety of places to eat and where the local groceries were. The pod itself was perfect, everything you needed in one space and very warm despite the cold weather! Seeing the horses every morning was lovely, I was able to switch off and spend time reading and drawing with freshly baked goods and a coffee, both of which were provided! I went on the walks they recommended which were lovely, and visited the local pub which served a great burger and a nice cold pint ☺️ It was wonderful to be in the country and it’s inspired me to visit more villages like this one. I hope to come back in the summer and try out the other trails! Thanks again!

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

I really enjoyed my stay in Deborah's home. When I'm staying away for work, I just want to arrive and quietly cosy in for the evening. This was exactly what I felt I could do at Deborah's. The room was cosy, clean and peaceful. The bathroom had the option of a bath or lovely hot shower. Deborah was very welcoming and made me feel at home. I slept really well too! I would definitely recommend Deborah's place to any/all guests!!

Gailyn was a wonderful host! She was kind and very understanding of my train getting in fairly late, recommended some spots for me to check out that I’m super excited to see, shared some her own experiences with traveling locally to help me find my footing and was lovely to chat with at the end of the day when I would get home! She was happy to help me learn how to work the stove, offered cereal, milk, toast, tea and/or coffee for breakfast if I’d like it, and even stocked my room with plenty of water bottles, some biscoff cookies and caramel candies! She’s a wonderful host and would 100% recommend her home to anyone visiting the area!

this was our first time staying overnight with a baby and I couldn’t have asked for a better place than Lucy‘s beautiful home. The house is beautifully decorated with quirky and original art. All bedrooms were clean, warm, and everything that a small family would need. We hope this is the first of many stays when we are coming up to visit Soho farmhouse.

Wonderful little apartment with lots of style and interest and a well appointed kjtchen. Great location with trains and buses very close and you are spoilt for choice with dozens of restaurants nearby (Eleven was a clear winner and it is less that 50m away). Rebecca is diligent and helpful host and even left us milk and food to get us started.

Genuinely super hosts. Beautiful home and extremely friendly hosts. I recommend khusi grill only a short walk away and the Ricoh is a short drive. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Such a lovely little castle. Super cosy place with everything you need for a weekend of peace and relaxation. The hot tub was fantastic and really private. Would recommend this place to everyone and I hope to get the opportunity to go back! Julie and Toby really went the extra mile with a breakfast basket and selection of snacks, along with some lovely personal touches to make the stay feel all that more special!

I had a wonderful stay and David was the perfect host. The peaceful location and gorgeous annexe were just what I needed for a short work stay. The breakfast each day was delicious and when I mentioned wanting to take my toast to work with me David popped back with tin foil which was so thoughtful. All in all a great stay with everything you needed and a fantastic host. I look forward to staying again soon.

Lovely cute space. Perfect for 1 night stay or even 2! Close to where we wanted to visit. Easy enough to find with instructions. Quiet area. We went to visit the zoo only 10 min drive. Host Avril responsive and helpful. Lovely to have light breakfast available as well considering price. Highly recommend!
