Waterfront vacation rentals in North Zealand

Jens is a great host and his place is exactly what we expected after seeing the photos. The flat is very accessible to the city via public transportation and accessible to the airport. We rented bikes not far from the flat and used these to get around, as well. There are several restaurants in the neighborhood that were nice to visit. The flat is away from the city activity but accessible thus making the flat very much a nice place to retreat to after a day of fun.

Everything was just perfect for us. The apartment is beautiful and very large. 1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 bedrooms with simple beds. Huge living room /kitchen area. Super modern and with all the necessary amenities is a new area of Copenhagen. Bus line 350m away. Metro station 600m (which is what we used). The fact that it was not in the centre did not bother us but note that it takes a bit of time to get back to the apartment if you need during the day...so you do not go back there for no reason during the day. But it is in a super quiet and safe area and the view over the water is gorgeous as you wake up in the morming.

Jan-Cayo is a great host, quick and caring to respond! The home he set up has the cozy atmosphere of the Danish hygge, the environment is quiet and also with the famous water view of Copenhagen, and it is super recommended to stay in his house to feel Copenhagen. Thank you Jan-Cayo!

Staying at Carolina’s Apartment was an absolute delight! The location couldn’t be more perfect—right in the heart of Copenhagen’s iconic Nyhavn. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, blending modern comforts with charming Scandinavian touches. The space was immaculate and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Carolina was a wonderful host, providing great recommendations and making sure we felt at home. Waking up to the view of the picturesque canal and being just steps away from amazing cafes, restaurants, and attractions made our experience truly unforgettable. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking to experience the best of Copenhagen!

Oliver’s place was perfect for our stay in Copenhagen! The apartment is centrally located, right on the busy street of Nyhavn. Close to restaurants, bars, activities, public transit and more. As mentioned in the description, there are stairs required to access the apartment and then you must climb a ladder to access the lofted bed—all totally expected and doable for us, but good to note for others. We loved the decor and views of the canal from this height, very nice at sunset!

Amazing place!! Can’t recommend this air b and b highly enough! ❤️ Great location, so beautiful with the colourful buildings, as well as walkable and with good transport links, and lots of restaurants nearby. Had everything we needed and was perfect and comfortable 🫶🏼✨ A few things (which weren’t a problem for us but an FYI incase important for you booking) - some of the ceilings are low as it’s an old building, so anyone over 6 ft 3 or 4 will need to duck in some areas. The bed is two separate singles pushed together rather than one big double bed. There is no door on the main bathroom area from the bedroom (but there is a door to the bedroom which you can shut instead), there are lots of narrow stairs getting up to the air b and b so probably not best if you’re less mobile. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay - we hope to be back soon!!! 💛💛💛

We had a great four night stay in this apartment. The building was easy to get to with our rental car and the apartment was spacious. We travelled back and forth to central Copenhagen several times using the subway system - it is fast, frequent, and easy to use. The several nearby grocery stores are also convenient.

Nice house with a beautiful view of the ocean. Located close to the forest, the sea and the “city center”. Torsten is a great host. Highly recommended.

Elisandes beach house is a true gem. Rarely, if ever, we have experienced a place with so much soul, coziness, tranquility and quiet peace. The surroundings and even the house are uniquely beautiful. Absolutely wonderful. We will be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a great time at Asgeir’s house, it was ideal for our family gathering. The house is really spacious and provided everything we needed - even a baby bath and some games for the children! Asgeir was a really responsive and friendly host, even providing a jar of his homemade honey 🙂 the house matched the description and we had no issues at all. Thanks for a great weekend!

We had a fantastic stay at this house! The location is extraordinary and very private, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. You can imagine that many family holidays have taken place here, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If there's anything to improve, it would be to keep it a bit cleaner, but that didn't detract from our overall experience. James is a very friendly host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The charm of the house stands on its own, making it a truly special, unique, and remarkable spot. Highly recommended!

A beautiful, calm and peaceful place. Highly recommended and easy to get to. The view of the water was uninterrupted and Anja gave some helpful suggestions for the stay.

A very pleasant house to celebrate Christmas in for us with 3 adult children and respectively. A total of 8 people. Enough room for a relaxed socializing without getting too crowded. Magical view (although the fog was dense all holiday season). Great standard in both the kitchen and bathroom. Highly recommend.

Wonderful cottage and overall package. We loved the location, views, furnishings, amenities, and friendliness in the reception. The cottage is really cozy, and it's really thought of everything. Here we spent a very quiet, relaxing week over the New Year and have really "run down" after a long time. Now we are curious how it feels to be there in summer, with bathing jetty, harbor jug and restaurant open, etc :) 6 out of 5 stars!

The unit owner’s son met us and showed us around. The location was excellent. Their recommendation of Scarpetta was appreciated. Preben communicated well and responded promptly.

Stay here if you want to feel like a true local in Copenhagen! The location is 10/10 and the balcony view is the best way to start and end your day. There is an elevator for easy access with suitcases and Carl was able to give us an early check in due to our early arrival. It’s worth noting it does feel like a true Airbnb, like you’re staying in someone’s house with all of their things around (but if you enjoy this - it adds to the charm of feeling like home). There is no aircon which during late August didn’t bother us at all and wasn’t necessary. Overall loved our stay here!

We again had a very nice stay in the apartment. Even though it is the end of November you still have a bright holiday feeling, since at every side of the apartment you have contact with the water. And the apartment feels like home !

This is the place to stay in Copenhagen, especially during summer. The apartment is beautiful and the terrace with direct water view and access is amazing. We stayed for a month with our 1.5 year old and he loved all the amazing toys. Highly recommend

It belongs to a relatively high end neighborhood, which is great!Easy to get around, indoor stairs, not very suitable with elderly and special small children.
