We loved staying in Elina and niko's house. Very nice house equipped with everything, also appreciated by children, lots of games to play, and beautiful garden outside. Elina and niko are very helpful hosts, gave us some advice and offered us also winter clothing for kids. I highly recommend staying here!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb, and it was an experience we won’t soon forget! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was equipped with everything we needed, making our stay comfortable we loved the fireplace and the sauna, which not only added a cozy atmosphere but also became a central gathering spot for our family. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. A highlight of our trip was witnessing the breathtaking northern lights right from outside the house on two separate occasions. It was truly a magical experience that we will cherish forever. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a tranquil place .Thank you for a lovely stay

The sauna got really gentle kicks. We've traveled a lot at home, and this sauna goes to Top5. The cottage was in a very quiet location and we were able to snuggle up slippers from the cottage.

Dreamy Finnish family cottage. This is undoubtedly the most beautiful Airbnb we have booked so far. We stayed 1 week and everything went there: white fishing and snowshoeing on the frozen lake accessible from the chalet via a private dock, observation of the Northern Lights (also from the inside) We followed Meeri's recommendations by booking a 30km sled dog safari in Riisitunturi Park (1 hour drive from the chalet) for info the roads are quite easily passable with a rental car in the area (including the forest path that leads to the cottage) , visited one of the oldest reindeer farms nearby and make our ample in the center of Kuusamo. For our Francophone colleagues, it is not specified in the listing but everything is present at the chalet (snowshoes, cross-country skis, fishing rods, poles...) Paula and Meeri were a perfect welcome and communication Thanks!!! ❄️❤️

Annukka's house is just perfect, perfect location, beautiful surroundings, it had everything we could ever need to enjoy our stay plus more. we felt so at home and had a perfect family Christmas here. could not wish for anything more. Annukka also went above and beyond if we needed any help or advice.

We had a great time at Villa Jäkälä. The house has a very nice design and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Jari’s home is amazing, and Jari himself is genuinely the best host we’ve ever had. We were two families staying over NYE. 3 kids under 5 and four adults. The space was perfect for us - everyone had their own space, and there were even tons of toys that the kids could play with during our stay (which they loved!). The home is modern with everything you need, and the views over the lake are incredible. We thought we would be traveling into town a lot, but ended up loving the home so much that we spent all of our time there. Jari also went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Was super responsive with recommendations and answers to questions, and really helped us feel at home during our stay. Would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone. Thank you, Jari, for making our trip so great!

We felt very comfortable. In a beautiful place. In the city still in the greenery and by the river. The outdoor area with the great view could be even more cozy. The grill was not enough for me (small and too little heat). Still a great stay.

Jaana, Matti and Joanna were great hosts. Their hospitality was incredible during our stay in their beautiful home. The setting was absolutely amazing and it truly added so much to our experience in Finland. Their responsiveness to our questions along with their suggestions made our stay even more special. We would love to return someday.

Arto and Tiina were the consummate hosts. Their cottage is beautiful and in a spectacular location. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend them and their property. We were sad to have to leave such an idyllic place.

finland has certainly captured my heart. what a magical place.a perfect winter wonderland. we loved our stay at Maria and jormas place with stunning view as well as beautiful sunset and the aurora. Maria and jorma were great and went out of their way to help us. with us being for Scottish there were some communication issues which were easily overcome with Google translate. the house was equipped with everything we needed and more. I can't thank Maria and jorma enough for everything they done to give me and my kids wonderful memories that will last forever. I really hope I can return one day.

Thanks to the host family for the time in their beautiful house. It is really very big and offers plenty of space. We used the sauna inside and out every day. The communication with the host family was perfect at all times. We all felt very comfortable here and thank you also for the beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
