Here you live with the best south facing position with sun all day , pool (summer) and jacuzzi (winter) , large lawn on the sea plot with access to jetty, trampoline, boat for fishing, kayaks, etc. Secluded but only 20 minutes from Stockholm C where you can easily get by bus just a few minutes from the house. Close to Tyresta Nature Reserve!

Modern architect design house by the Baltic Sea

Our stunning home was completed in 2013, it is built on a rock overviewing the waterways leading into Stockholm. South aspect with views stretches from east to west. Access to own dock and wood fired sauna by the Baltic Sea. The house has one master bedroom, 2 bedrooms plus a small guesthouse (guest house, bedroom no 4, available summer time only). On the south side of the house there is a massive deck with lounge settings and an open fireplace/BBQ. We are located 30 min from downtown Stockholm.

This house is right at the waters edge. 63 sq meter. Very calm, perfect for a romantic weekend. Light a open fire, take at bath in the hot tub beside the house, listen to the waves and drink a glass wine. Sun-set dining. Dive in the Baltic Sea from the jetty after the hot tub. Watch the ferries and yachts pass by. Close to slalompist in Stockholm. 20 minutes to Stockholm city with car, or take a bus or a ferry. Oasis near the water, close to the city centre in quiet and family friendly neighbourhood. "Small village"-feeling in Bromma, the closest villa suburb to Stockholm. The house is close the water, beaches, restaurants, cafes, ice cream shops, shops, playgrounds, public transportation and close to the city center: 12 min by tram to nearest subway station where you go downtown in 5-10 min.

Extraordinary and central accommodation just by the lake at Stora Essingen. Plot with garden that is accessed via a long stairs from the public road, i.e. not suitable for disable persons. We absolutely loved our stay! Comfortable house, great location. The sledding hill right out back, the view of the water, and beautiful holiday decorations put it over the top for our Christmas vacation with friends! Cedrik is an amazing host, too - He was always available for questions and tips, including booking us a delicious traditional Swedish Christmas dinner in downtown Stockholm! Tack!

We had a great time as a five in the house and in the surrounding area. Stockholm is very close and the surrounding islands and nature reserves are also worth a visit. We recommend the place to anyone looking for peace and quiet and still want to have opportunities for activities.

We (7 of us plus 3 dogs) have had an amazing stay at Ewa’s house! She’s an amazing host! It is in a great location surrounded by nature, very clean, comfortable, cozy, well equipped and really well organized. Ewa was very responsive to any queries and we felt very much at home in her place. Happy New Year!!!

The space was homely and comfortable, with everything we needed and all mod cons (dishwasher, washer dryer, Xbox etc) which made our stay extra easy and comfortable. We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. Bjorn was super helpful and responsive, giving us recommendations for where to visit and the best ways to get there. We loved every minute of our stay, the surroundings are stunning, the swimming beach is beautiful, the islands are magical. We can't wait to come back again!

Beautiful home, equipped with every comfort. At the end of the street is a beautiful hiking area around a lake. with the dogs ideal. When we were there in February, there was skating on the lake. Walking distance to metro and train is plm. 7 min. very good connection to the city center of Stockholm. Large shopping center within walking distance, plm. 10 min. Parking the car around the house is pay attention. No parking is allowed on the left side of the road, or against the driving direction, and stay 10 meters out of the bend. The house is a nice starting point to explore Stockholm and its surroundings.

If you are looking for a quiet and cozy accommodation in the middle of nature, but still close to the city, this is the place to be. The cottage offers everything you need for a wonderful stay. The hosts are friendly and helpful and always available for questions. The island can be reached in 10 minutes by boat from the metro. The boats run on time and reliably. The property is on a hill about 5 minutes from the boat dock. The path is hilly, but upstairs you will be rewarded with a beautiful view. You should be good on foot because the luggage and shopping have to go to the island. This did not bother us at all, on the contrary, we enjoyed the peace and nature. The sauna was also a great experience.

We stayed 5 nights over New Year, 2 families in total including children aged 6, 12 and 13. The house was spectacular, lovely and warm over such a cold period and in a gorgeous location overlooking a lake, easy walk to the closest Metro. It was really well stocked with a sauna and gym which were lovely additions. Bjorn was friendly, helpful and accommodating of our specific requests. Stockholm is an incredible city, very picturesque, excellent transport and lots to do. We tried a couple of local restaurants and a pub when we wanted to stay close. The Mall of Scandinavia was close by which was handy when we needed supplies. Be aware that takeaway alcohol isn’t available from the supermarkets in Sweden at all times, the wine shops shut early on a Saturday and don’t open again until Monday morning.

Archipelago's most beautiful place

We had a wonderful time at Jan's house! The house, the sauna at the ocean and the nature around it were immensely beautiful and Jan was a great host. Since the house is already more than a 100 years old, Jan is in the process of giving it a makeover and this shows, of course. So it was not that clean and there were some open walls or ceilings. For a family with three kids, however, this meant also a bit of relaxing because we didn't had this feeling of "oh, don't touch that..." We would definitely come back.
