We rented Christin's cabin to celebrate my 40th birthday with close family and friends. Christin was super friendly, proactive and on the offer page. Before we had time to think about it, we got exact instructions and offers to borrow a bike, canoe, vest and boat. We felt at home and it couldn't be better! Clean, cozy, lots to do and a very good host!

The cabin was clean. Thrre were instructions everywhere which helps. check-in was a bit hectic but things are described in some files about the stay so as long as you read them thoroughly there won't be any issues. For every problem that I contacted Michael, I got a solution in less than 5 minutes. Groceries, hiking locations and canoeing are all less than 15 minutes away. Overall strongly recommended. Hopefully we will visit there again :)

The house is great, peaceful and the view on Fjord is amazing ! We spent a wonderful Christmas in the cosy and so clean house. Jacuzzi is so cool too during winter time. Anne-Marthe and Paul are reactive and warm hosts. They provide you with all the necessary informations to enjoy your stay and the house has everything to be confortable. Thank you for your kind welcome ! We recommand for sure !

This was the 2nd time we borrowed the house and we had a great time: Swimming and jacuzi, barbecues and pizza dinner with its own pizza oven, quiet mornings with coffee and beautiful views, and walks by boat, paddle board and kayak. We would gladly came back next year.

We had a short stay at David's house, but actually it was too short. We felt right at home and were surprised by a breathtaking view! The cottage is very tastefully decorated. The contact with David was also very nice, easy & friendly. We definitely recommend the stay.

We (family of 4) stayed at the cabin for a weekend in October. The cabin is well equiped and it has a great view over the lake. We used the rowing boat, the Weber grill and the fire pan (bålpanne) to heat hot dogs and marshmallows. It was fun for the kids :) There’s no shower inside, which is fine for a weekend.

Had 3 nights at this cozy cabin. Very well suited for 1 adult with 2 children and dog. We had what we needed for cooking and barbecuing. Cozy patio with morning sun and large lawn. The area is incredibly idyllic and the hosting was friendly and welcoming We gladly came back!

I stayed at Sidsel's cabin for 2 nights with my family including a little child and dog. After being guided to the cabin by Sidsel -as the cabin is not directly reachable by car- and being showed around, we had an excellent stay. Despite having some rainy days, the location gives you diverse possibilities to do as hiking, swimming, canoeing or -if the weather doesn't make you want to go outside- just staying around the chimney with a view on the lake. I can highly recommend staying at Sidsels place. Also the communication with her is very easy and friendly. Looking forward to stay there again :)

It was our second time enjoying this wonderful experience in this beautiful house! Again we had a very nice holiday in Narsnes at the Oslofjord! The communication with the hosts was very friendly and uncomplicated. There was some great improvements in the kitchen and bathroom concerning technical equipment like washing machine/tumble dryer and the induction stove top. The information about our cottage all corresponded to the description in the offer. We arrived at the cottage earlier and were able to check in before the scheduled time and checked out later then scheduled. That was really nice and helpful! From our cottage windows we had a great view over the Oslofjord. The cottage is beautifully decorated and very cozy. We, 2 adults and 3 children (6,8,10 yrs) had enough space and everyone felt so comfortable. The place is located directly on the fjord and is very picturesque. All in all it was again worth the trip. 1000 thanks to the hosts!

We had a fun time! The cottage is super comfortable and very well-equipped. It is located in a green and very quiet area. A true haven of peace. Bernt and Vanja were very kind and attentive to us. A lot of kindness towards us. To visit Oslo by car, this is ideal. You can go there without a second thought!

When I get old one day, I will gather the whole family on a quiet winter night. We will fire in the fireplace, make our favorite tea and get comfortable. The kids and grandchildren listen excitedly when I start to tell: «It was once a little paradise – a beautiful home in a peaceful setting, where I spent some unforgettable days. Everything was sparkling clean, full of little touches that made the stay magical. Comfy bed, heat pump that kept perfect temperature, and host Ashiq… responded faster than artificial intelligence in 2035! It was so quiet that I almost thought I heard the fish in the nearby water. And one morning? I saw deer right outside! Nature kind of said, ‘Relax, you are in the right place’. And as if that wasn't enough – only a few minutes away I could charge my electric car, because yes, we drove in 2025! Convenient, green and simple. This place is recommended with all my heart – and maybe a bit of the soul too.»

We had a great stay at Hildes place. The cabin was the perfect getaway location: quiet, beautiful and very close to the train station to Oslo. When it was sunny, we enjoyed the seating outside. The cabin had everything we needed. Hilde was very proactive in her communication. Jakob even brought us some extra firewood for the fireplace.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely cabin in the woods, highlight of our trip! It is an amazing feeling sitting inside with the wood stove on, warm and cozy!

I stayed for 3 weeks while working at NMBU. The location is perfect, just 15 min cycle along a country road. I loved staying here, it was so peaceful, and Elias and his family made me feel incredibly welcome. It is a beautiful space with everything you could need.

An amazing stay! The most beautiful, peaceful location just close enough to the city if you want to venture out but me and my partner were very happy to stay in and appreciate the coziness of the cabin. It felt like staying at home with all the amenities available to you. Would definitely stay again
