Vacation rentals in Nord-Fron Municipality

This place is a warm, cozy and stylish gem, in the middle of nature. We had a lovely personal welcome by the hosts, plenty of fire wood, never ending views and lots of peace and quiet. For two weeks we enjoyed the snow, ski tracks, winter nights and northern lights! Our three kids spent hours building snow castles and we spent hours reading near the windows. The place has all the amenities you need and good quality furniture, kitchen, beds etc. The nearby mountain school has a friendly owner and rents out various ski equipment and the cabin has some different sleds too. A proper car(winter tires, preferably 4x4) is advised as the road up to the cabin can be tricky in certain weather conditions, but the owners are very proactive in weather and driving advice! All in all a place we love to visit again.

Unfortunately, due to family circumstances, I have not been. But since I have the booking, here is the response from me regarding the experiences of our friends. They enjoyed Havard's lovely house. He thought along with everything well. Even when they were snowed in the day they had to go to the airport, he had arranged a tractor with snow shifter. Upon arrival, the house was wonderfully at temperature due to the heating that was turned on via the Wi-Fi. In the wood stove, the wood was already ready and everything was tastefully decorated. They felt very welcome. They were also lucky enough to experience the Northern Lights. Very unfortunate that I had to cancel this holiday myself.

Great house, right in the middle of beautiful nature. Everything feels new, and the house is well decorated. Contact with the host was great. We had a small accident during our stay, and he was quick a proactive with support. Highly recommend to stay here!

The place was very clean and tidy which I value. We were never missing anything, even the most basic spices and charging cables (which we weren't missing, but bad for missing if you forget to bring). Spent our Christmas here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, parents and the two children. Nice to relax in the living room or build Lego on living room floor or at the kitchen table. Really nice bedrooms and beds.

Beautiful place just 15min drive from Venabygdsfjellet with great opportunities to hiking (you also fill the water tanks there). The house is well equipped with all you might need and the view is just outstanding! We really enjoyed our stay!

We came here for the second time already and again really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is perfectly located for cross-country skiing and equipped with everything we needed. Kuba is very nice, responsive and very welcoming as a host. We can definitely recommend it!

The cabin is indeed nice and cozy as described. We felt at home immediately due to the layout and furniture as well as the surrounding area. It was a perfect mini break in our journey through Norway. We loved it!

Jeanette was a great host. Communication was prompt, friendly and very accommodating. We (2 parents + infant + dog) were passing through this accommodation for 3 nights. We would always recommend the place to friends and come back ourselves. Thank you for the great time! You've contributed to our great honeymoon!

The squirrel cabin is nicely located and sheltered in the terrain. It's easy to find. A big plus is that there is a garage. In winter it is worth gold. Inside, the cabin is nicer than what you get in the pictures, there is a high standard with underfloor heating in the living room, comfortable furniture, the most well-equipped cabin kitchen I have experienced, very cozy decorated. The Tra bedrooms are small but space efficient and have what is needed by drawers and closets. There is also a large hallway for storing outerwear and footwear. The bathroom is large and it is furnished with a spacious sauna, a large shower corner and here there is also a washing machine. There are many nice walks in the area and good skiing network. All in all, the nicest and best cabins we have rented and it is highly recommended. Sandra communicates very well, you will get a phone number for the caretaker if there should be anything. We'd love to come back!

Super nice cabin. You have to make a few compromises in terms of comfort, but a stay at the cabin slows you down.

We had a pleasant stay in this large friendly chalet. The host is very friendly and even kindly offered to pick us up at Vinstra station. The accommodation is perfectly equipped and suitable for 16 people. It is also very well located since we can reach the ski slopes! I can only recommend it! Most of it was there! Nice communication with Tina, quick responses and feedback to questions. The cabin was modern and cozy. Felt like home without there being too visible traces of the owners. Contained everything you could want, and a nice starting point for cross country skiing. Ski lift that took you straight up to the top of the mountain only 100m away. The world's nicest food and sports shop just nearby. We had a great few days here.
