Great private place to stay if you’re looking to hike in Shenandoah! Super close to the Thornton’s gap entrance which is close to a bunch of the most iconic hikes!

We had a great stay in the cabin. It was very clean and Lisa was very responsive. The surroundings of the house are beautiful and really peaceful. Nice fire pit by the river and beautiful views from the cabin. The kitchen is new and has everything you need! It was a cold weekend with freezing temperatures, so the only “minor issue” is that the heating equipment is in the living room so we had to keep the bedroom and bathroom doors open too keep the temperature acceptable during the night.

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

Chris and Jen’s home was a perfect getaway for our girls weekend to Colonial Beach! The photos don’t do the place justice of how cozy and comfortable it is. We all raved about the comfort of the beds and the front porch was our favorite place to relax after a day of exploring the town. We were able to walk to town from the house for coffee and shopping which was a nice bonus. Chris and Jen were flexible with our check in time which we very much appreciate. We will be back to CoBe!

This is an excellent place to rent! The views are gorgeous, right on the lake. It’s exactly as described. The perfect getaway cabin, extremely comfortable and peaceful. We are really hoping to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake more. The host is very responsive and helpful and has a great system for communicating. It’s definitely a cabin- the walls are thin and it has a rustic feel- but it’s as pictured and extremely comfortable and nice. We loved it!

This is a perfect mountain retreat for those looking to get away for peace and quiet. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset. Tim was great with Communications and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had. Rich, the property manager, was awesome and checked in to make sure we settled in fine our first night and was only a call away if there were any issues. You're very close to Luray and Skyline Drive. There are also so many things to do at the house if you're just looking to stay in, especially during the colder months. It was just a couples trip this time but I would definitely bring my children here. Highly recommend!

The house was cozy, accommodating and clean. The beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. It was quiet and the beach was just a short walk/golf cart ride away. If I had to make any slightly negative comment, it would be to provide more wash cloths and towels. But that was a very small detail and we just washed and reused what we had, no big deal. The owner was responsive to all our questions and accommodated a last-minute booking for us. We would definitely book this property with this owner again!

Beautiful spacious cabin. Felt super cozy and right at home once I walked in. The view is amazing and loved the hot tub. No complaints. Brian was super helpful in navigating our way to the cabin especially with the few inches of snow still lingering in the pathway.

The place was perfect! Really enjoyed the stay and Connie was very communicative. Would definitely be back.

Lovely rental. The listing was exactly as described. The host responded very quickly to any questions. It had everything we needed and I felt very at home. This is an amazing location we will definitely be coming back for more fun here in the summer. The hot tub felt hot and relaxing outside even though it was so cold. 5 stars.

Thoroughly enjoyed just relaxing and resting after the busy holidays. Kitchen was very well stocked and everything worked well. Matt was incredibly responsive with the few questions I had, and was helpful and accommodating with our furry friends also. We will definitely be back!

The view is better to the eye than pictures can do! I enjoyed the stay. We were snowed in with almost a foot of snow and their crew were handling the roads and our needs. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a great getaway to something remote.
