The Bartlett QUEEN

NicoleRating, 5 stars35 months ago
This hotel was great for what we needed - a clean and comfy place to sleep after a long day of walking and exploring the city! Check in process was easy; we lucked out and there was someone working the front desk this day but otherwise you have to check in at their sister location a few blocks over. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and public transportation. Never felt unsafe but always good practice to be aware of your surroundings especially when out at night.

The room was great. The room is small (tiny?) but really nice and comfortable. We loved it. It has been recently renovated. This location is convenient for anyone wanting to attend the symphony, ballet, opera, Bill Graham Civic Center, etc. The staff is friendly and efficient.

424 - Boutique, Unique Hotel Room in Union Square

KeithRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Great place to stay, esp if you have limited budget and moderate expectations. Classic style hotel with grand center stairway, clawfoot bathtub, sloped hardwood floors and delightful staff. Situated rather close to restaurants, transit, coffee shops, convenience stores, etc. High-brow Union Square is one block away; this place is about 1/3 their hotel pricing. Front desk staff (Lan and Meghan?) were super helpful and friendly, with check-in and check-out a breeze. Each "hotel" room has dedicated bath, though there's a shared bath or toilet in the hallway for longer-termers like students. I felt completely safe inside and outside. My room 424 was completely quiet, unusual for San Fran, due to it being on a type of internal breezeway. Yes, July weather was warm but evenings were cool enough without AC or fan. I'd pick this place again, even for business traveler on company dime.
An inviting sleeping area features a spacious bed with crisp white linens and a light brown bed skirt. Two framed artworks are displayed above the headboard. Soft natural light filters through a large window, which is dressed with light curtains.

HERBERT Room with Private Bath

Actually we were transfered in Bartlett which is across the street. Anyhow we were very happy with our stay. Its the best price to value you can get. Nothing crazy, but clean and enjoyable. Great location as well. You can literally see Union square from your window.
The historic building, dating from 1908, displays a classic architectural style with multiple stories and large, evenly spaced windows. Its brick facade exhibits intricate detailing, surrounded by lush trees and urban streets, showcasing its prominent corner location.

San Francisco DREAMFORCE

ElaineRating, 5 stars22 months ago
This is for a room at the WorldMark hotel, which is a timeshare, but there was no hard pitch from the employees. Clean space with a microwave, mini fridge, and sink, plus plates, bowls, silverware, and napkins. Very close to Union Square and lots of restaurants, and less than a mile walk to Salesforce Millennium Tower (which is why I booked it). Internet is extra ($5 for two devices for a day, and multi-day offers). Sanford was responsive and helpful. I would stay here again.
The historic building, dating from 1908, features a classic façade with ornate architectural details. Large, symmetrical windows reflect the urban landscape, while lush greenery at the base softens its appearance. The structure is set against a clear blue sky, highlighting its central urban location.

This little space fit my needs just right. Clean and comfortable. The AC works just fine. Was very quiet and peaceful. Close to the BART. And a close walk to Chinatown. There's a set up on the ground floor where a robot makes your coffee. Ayana answered all my questions. I would stay here again.

Lovely Private Bedroom in Boutique Hotel

AliceRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Great room and exactly what I needed for just one night in the city. The check-in is super easy and straightforward, the room was bigger than expected, everything was spotlessly clean (especially bathroom which is so important), the bed and sheets were comfortable. The area (downtown Oakland), unsurprisingly and sadly, does feel unsafe, which is not the hosts' fault. But if you need a place to rest and can uber in and out of there in the nighttime, highly recommend.
An outdoor courtyard is featured, illuminated by string lights against a night sky. The area includes several seating options: a glass-topped dining table surrounded by patterned chairs, a sectional sofa, and umbrellas providing shade. Decorative plants add greenery to the space.

Oakland Private Room in a Charming Boutique Hotel

SelinaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This is the second time I’ve stayed here (exactly the same room, coincidentally!) and it was straightforward check in instructions, the room EXACTLY as pictured and advertised. Depending on your comfort level in DT Oakland, I love that this place is near a lot of my old favorite restaurants like Spices! And other restaurants open later than others, as well as the accessibility to BART.

Charming Courtyard Boutique Hotel Room

JanetRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I really enjoyed our stay for a concert at the Oakland arena, it was convenient to public transport, secure, quiet and had welcoming common areas where we spent time with our friends who were also staying. The coffee shop downstairs with robot barista was a plus (though I am strictly a tea drinker, haha—my daughter enjoyed it), convenient and friendly! I appreciated being able to store my luggage for a few extra hours after checkout while we explored before our flight left. The courtyard room was quiet and had a relaxing view and atmosphere. Everything was so clean and nicely furnished. Would love to stay again!
