Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Nishikyo Ward

great location, super quiet. could use more heating in the winter (bathroom & shower cold), but would totally stay again!

Our stay was flat out wonderful- a very responsive host with very clear directions, lots of nice extras and a beautiful space that was perfectly located for sightseeing in Kyoto with easy access to the train and subway. The large whirlpool tub is a welcome necessity after visiting arashiyama and other walking heavy tourist locations! The kitchen was well equipped with a grocery store within a 5m walk, perfect for cooking your own wagyu dinner like we did. I would highly recommend this stay in Kyoto!

Great location for transportation, very close to scenic spots, very clean, Japanese style

Asia’s Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto-Shi Airbnb was a beautiful, minimalist design, spa-like retreat. We appreciated its quiet location in Eastern Kyoto, a short walk away from the Kamo River, Gion, Kodaiji Temple, Yasaka Pagoda, and many other beautiful places to explore. We would hope to stay here again on return to Kyoto.

Great location and easy check in process, the host was great in allowing us to store us luggage for a short bit before check in time.

I have stayed in airbnb's across London, Iceland, and Quebec. This was easily the best I've ever been to! And I know that anyone who comes here will be more than satisfied. Lovely place, warm hosts, great location.

The description for Omoide’s place was accurate. My family (2 adults and 2 children) arrived to Kyoto late at night so we did the self check-in method. The place was located in a quiet street in the Higashiyama Ward. It was spotless! We were able to walk to some restaurants, shops, museums, and a shrine. The bathrooms were compact, but the shower had ample hot water and flow. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We communicated using messages on Airbnb. Thank you!

The place has complete amenities. The picture was accurate. The design was good. Family enjoyed our 2 nights stay. We will definitely return.

Yanbin’s place was perfect. The location worked very well for all the things we wanted to do in Kyoto. The home was clean and had lots of traditional Japanese elements which we enjoyed. It was also well equipped. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We were able to do laundry which is very helpful when you have been living out of a suitcase for several days. Yanbin was very helpful with parking and restaurant recommendations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Fantastic & authentic Japanese feel. Excellent location, walking distance to everywhere you want to be! Enough for 6 of us (4 kids) & would love to stay again :)

Takeshi’s place was a wonderful treat for our time in Kyoto. It was very comfortable, beautiful architecture and a peaceful atmosphere. The outdoor bath was so relaxing after big days of walking around and exploring Kyoto. Takeshi was a helpful host who offered suggestions and felt available in case we needed assistance.

- Location, ~15 minutes from the train station, ~15-20 from Gion/Pontocho. 7/11 and grocery store right down the street, quiet neighborhood - 3 showers, 2 Bathrooms, the outdoor area/bath area was a nice touch. The master bathroom was very large. Toiletries were provided. - Rooms were large and separated so even though we had multiple beds in each, there was space Washing machine and hot water took a few minutes to figure out but everything worked just fine.

Very nice place with clean and hot tub including place! Drinks, gifts, and quick communications are great to feel welcome at place.

As a group of 6 adults, we stayed in this beautiful, clean home in April 2025. Everyone was impressed with how high end and comfortable everything was. Even better than the pictures! Appliances were high end and there were wonderful small details such as fresh flowers. I recommend making toast in the Balmuda toaster (add a spoonful of water in the receptacle to first steam the bread). The kitchen has everything you could want. Located a 5 minute walk from the KH line with easy access to Nishiki Market, Gion, Fushimi Inari, and Kyoto station. We were sad to leave. Not a cheap accomodation but worth the money and would consider again if travelling with a group!

The site is very well located, 3min from the train, the family mart and the temples. The house is very traditional and organized. The beds are very comfortable. The cleaning was not 100%, but it did not impact the trip.

This home is beautiful. It’s been recently renovated and it looked, felt and smelled new. The decoration and furnishings were really lovely. It’s in a quiet residential area about 20 minutes from the main shopping and sightseeing area, 10-15 minute walk to station and 3 stops to Kawaramachi markets. It comfortably fits 7 people in 3 different bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. Appliances and tableware were all high end. It doesn’t have closets in the bedrooms, just a couple of hangers, which seems to be common in Japan hotels. Shogo, our host, was very friendly, super communicative and helpful. Also very generous with his hospitality. This place is not in the middle of the busy sightseeing areas, but it’s relatively central and easy to get to places with public transport. There are also some shops and restaurants in walking distance. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Very cozy and spacious, and equipped with everything we needed.

The sauna and cottage were both beautiful and comfortable!The bedding was fluffy and I slept soundly! I want to use it again!

Anyway, it's fully equipped. Everything is sparkling clean. It is good because it has a high fence as a private space. I'll use it again.

It was so good!!The surroundings are too quiet, so it may be a little annoying.

All of the best! Definitely recommend to group or family stay. The public place is awesome. It’s close to snow park and Arima Onsen, AND THEY SERVE TRANSPORTATION! We met bad weather this winter and the cable and bus was stopped, no taxi response,barely can’t get down the mountain. Thanks for the staff. We are planning another stay this summer now~
