The apartment is very nice, spacious and clean. The part of the beach is very nice and the pool facilities are great. You can’t wish for a better location. The owner is friendly and responds in time. The pool attendant is very friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the restaurant connected to the complex is not very special. Fortunately there are alternatives relatively close. Would also not recommend the laundry service as this is a third party company so you cannot really rely on quality. It would also be great if the pool/beach had more beds as it fills up quickly.

We had great time in Trinco at the appartment. The location was absolutely perfect, away from all the hustle and bustle; yet in close proximity to all the restaurants. The appartment itself was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with an amazing beach view from the balcony. The appartment premises open up to a beautiful stretch of the Nilaveli beach. And the amenities were all on point. The venue has two large pools perfect to chill in during the day. The staff are very helpful and professional. The breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic, especially the Sri Lankan breakfast. The staff at the restaurant went out of their way, on our request for a Sri Lankan breakfast meal which was wasn’t on the menu. Our host Sandu was very accommodative of our requests, especially considering ours was a very last minute booking. Thank you! We had an amazing holiday!

It was a great stay. Ghazzali is very responsive and guided us to the property. Apartment is big and spacious. It needs a little bit of renovation in terms of broken window and common washroom is bit cluttered and smelly. Just a bit of attention in washrooms will make the place a great spot to stay. Apartment will exactly match the description and photos. It has good view of the sea and the beach is very beautiful. Lots of Diving resorts are next door to this place. Restaurants downstairs closes at 8pm is big backdrop. Apartment is away from Trincomalee city and don’t have much eatery options nearby. It’s a good stay and value for money for sure. 4 stars from my side 🤟🤟🤟

This is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. If you’re looking at this listing and still trying to decide, please just book this place. You won’t regret it. The pool is pristine, the ocean is close, and the views are immaculate. The kitchen and living area are kitted out - I especially appreciated the Bluetooth speaker and the washer / dryer.

Exceeded our expectations. We had a slightly larger party and good hotel options were sold out or crazy expensive by the time we looked, hence we booked this. We are glad we ended up here than in a hotel. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Pool and outside the same. There are front desk staff, porters, ground/pool keepers, onsite restaurant, etc. Beach next to the place is very nice. Highly recommend.

We had 6 and fantastic days. We were given all the space to be ourselves and entertained. With the door in the garden, you can step onto the beach in no time. From where you can walk to the nearby shops or restaurants. Mirjam was our housekeeper and she was there for us all day. She helped clean up and kept an eye on everything. She also wanted to cook for us, but we did that ourselves in the complete kitchen. She even turned a wash for us. You can swim there. Pooling or watching a movie on big screen with good sound. There's even a kind of relax yoga room. A balcony with sea views. On both floors was a completely equipped kitchen. The beds sleep well . Towels are provided . Even a snorkel set. And canoes. We look back on a great experience.

The apartment was beautiful! Spotless, with a beautiful view overlooking Nilaveli beach. The swimming pool was amazing, and the beach right ahead was BEAUTIFUL! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend. Also there were lots of restaurants local- great seafood restaurants and Lankan style cuisine. My family had a lot of fun! 😌 would definitely come back if Im ever in the trinco area again!

Perfect piece of Paradise! Just spent 8 wonderful days at Villa 238 and miss it desperately already 😢. It’s even better than the photos suggested, idyllic location on Dutch Bay where your balcony looks right over the sea. Dyke Street is the cutest, quietest residential area without the craziness of busy tourist areas. It reminded us of Goa in the 80’s before it was ruined by mass tourism. Brilliant communication from the owners and Kasthuri the housekeeper is a super smiley absolute diamond who looked after us so well but left us to enjoy the house on our own without hovering all day. Already planning our return visit, we absolutely loved it 😍😍😍😍

The best place to stay in Nilaveli. Outstanding ocean sunrises, high level of safety, amazing restaurant next building and the best dive center DivingGuru next door. A wonderful week in a spacious house. Sarwana and Sella are always available to help. Sarwana cooked for us on many occasions and recommended places to visit. An excellent week and would highly recommend it.

We had a great time at Amanda's place from start to finish. She and her husband, Umesh, were fantastic hosts. They, as well as their staff, were super kind and helped us with a lot of recommendations and even organized a snorkeling trip to the coral reefs of Pigeon Island as well as dolphin watching for us. The room was absolutely lovely. And the best thing was that when you leave the door you are directly on the beach, where they serve amazing food and drinks right on the beach.

An expansive beach stretches out, featuring soft golden sand and gentle waves lapping at the shore. The sky transitions from warm orange to soft blue as evening approaches, with distant islands visible on the horizon.

While the beachfront location was the star of the stay, the hospitality and support extended by the team truly enhanced our experience. There is much to discover in and around property, including cafes and shopping. A lot of the touristy things we wanted to do like Fort Fredrick, Lion's rock, elephant safari, etc., were a ride or a day's trip away. A big shout out to the kitchen team! Every meal was homely and delicious.

We were in a little cottage right by the beach, in a little private swimmingpool, the actual house/house with the restaurant was fabulous!! Breakfast, lunch and dinner was really good!! Very nice clean apartment in a great location to the beach. Through the management of a reception, you always had a point of contact, Kay was quick to respond to our messages. The only criticism is the little available loungers by the pool. The apartment had a great view of the sea.

Had a lovely stay in Trincomalee in this beautiful condo right on the beach within walkable distance to some restaurants via the beach. If you turn right and walk approximately 10 minutes you can reach salty dogs lovely little restaurant and if you turn left along beach your near pigeon island, highly recommended. Didn’t use the kitchen so can’t comment on that. Host is very responsive would definitely return

Loved the place here. Everything was so organised and felt like we were staying in a 5 star property. The beach view was amazing! We made full use of our 2 day stay here by going to the beach and the pool. I had only 1 issue which is the lock in the common bathroom was not working. This was fixed in 1 day but , so that would be the only issue I faced. Outside of that I will highly recommend this place!

The pictures of Villa Nilaveli were almost to good te be true. So we were very curious what we would find. But the reality was even better than the pictures. What a gorgeous house in a unique spot. Walking from the house right onto the beach is a very special feeling. And the house itself is beautiful and very spacious. But not only the house was great, the hospitality by Amal and his team was what made our stay truly exceptional. Amal is such a warm and caring person, he made us feel right at home! And he is a great cook as well!
