It is a gem of a property away from the crowded spaces of Bhimtal. A secluded space with really nice views, nestled in the greenery, hills and abundant beautiful horticulture in the vicinity. Property and facilities available are the same as mentioned in the website. We had a very comfortable stay as host was very responsive and always available to our requirements such as local contacts, cabs and recommendations. As the kitchenette facility is there, we also cooked some items ourselves but homemade food with the caretaker was sumptuous and tasty, which came as a pleasant surprise to us. When in Bhimtal/Nainital, you should consider Woodstock residence for a calm and peaceful experience, with an amazing value for money

Such a beautiful and cozy property. Felt right at home and peaceful. The place is well maintained and rooms were squeaky clean. You get a partial view of the lake but more importantly the wide view of green hill tops is even more pleasing to the eye. The hosts are very responsive and polite. wish them best !

Our family had an absolutely fantastic getaway at The Sparrows Nest Villa! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beautiful decor – it felt really chic yet welcoming. We especially loved the fun private pool; it was so much fun splashing around and having our own private space to swim. A big thank you to Prem, the caretaker, who was always ready to help with a smile and made our stay even more comfortable. But perhaps the highlight was the stunning view from the balcony. We could see the entire valley and even the lights of Haldwani city in the distance – it was the perfect spot to relax and soak it all in. We left feeling refreshed and with wonderful memories. We are frequent travellers , have stayed at many cottages in mukteshwar and it’s surrounding regions…but this place ..Casa saara ,of Capt Nitin Anand ji is something else ..this is a beautiful cottage built by captain with perfect location in sitla ,lush green surroundings with 3 side entrance ..lots of trees,lots of sitting places ,full of natural beauty and fresh air everywhere …tasty home food served by cook deepak …beside this captain and Co host surendra are so friendly and responsive that you will love to stay at this place and would carry beautiful memories with you ..if you are a pizza and coffee lover ,than do visit cafe Awara in near by Sitla market,managed by surendra and his wife…would love to visit again and again …thanks a lot nitin ji for your super hospitality.

I had a truly wonderful stay at this picturesque wooden cottage. The host was exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the cottage itself was impeccably maintained, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The highlight, however, was the food—the chef prepared home-cooked meals with such finesse that they could easily compete with any top restaurant. An unforgettable experience that perfectly blended comfort and culinary delight!

Staying at Sojourn with Nyoli was pure magic. Tucked away in the hills, it’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. The approach was a bit tricky, but the hosts were so proactive and supportive — they guided me through every step, which made arriving feel like being welcomed home. I stayed here with my three dogs — and they were in heaven! The property is genuinely pet-friendly, with plenty of space to roam around, play and explore. We all felt so at ease! One of my favorite parts of the stay was learning that Nyoli means birdsong in Kumaoni — and it’s so fitting. The property was alive with the sound of birds, from morning till evening. The staff were incredible — kind, attentive, and full of stories. The Kumaoni food was a highlight: simple, flavorful, and made with so much love. Every meal felt like it belonged exactly where we were.
