Vacation rentals in Nichols

We enjoyed staying at this very spacious and well equipped house! The kitchen was well stocked with good quality utensils and pans. The neighborhood was nice and we enjoyed driving in the surrounding area. It is very convenient to stores and downtown.

From my wife Abigail: This little nest provided an overnight spot for my sister and I and our girls that we were grateful for, as we had trouble finding something available for our spur of the moment little shopping trip. We were packed in there fairly tight, but made some good memories🤩 We got there late and really appreciated that our host went over and set up the cots and made up the beds!

The cottage was the perfect location, right in the middle of downtown Le Claire. Several restaurants and shops in walking distance, with the river across the street. We needed accommodations that would enable us to bring our dog, and we all enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the morning watching the town wake up.

it was wonderful to have a clean house to gather relatives for a meal, laughter and fun around a large dining room table and living room. The kitchen had everything necessary for us to make a meal together. Thank you for allowing our two lazy bulldogs. It was wonderful!

This was my husband’s my 3rd time stay here. We’ve been here a 4th time to eat pizza with friends that we talked into staying here. They loved it too. This Airbnb is my favorite out of any I’ve ever stayed at, and I can never have enough good things to say. Something I don’t think I’ve mentioned in my past reviews is that not only is the Airbnb wonderful, but so is the staff in the winery. They are kind, knowledgeable, and always a joy to talk to. Even when we come for a day trip, we ALWAYS stop at the winery. Always, always give stars for this beautiful place!

This charming cottage offers breathtaking views of the water and a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The sunroom was our favorite spot to unwind, catch a sunset and watch barges occasionally drift by. The neighborhood was quiet, but there was plenty to do nearby - shops, restaurants, wineries and historical sites. Robin was an exceptional host—responsive, and welcoming.

Fantastic hosts! Very communicative. Great little spot for a weekend trip to Iowa city.

We stay here often and Sheila is always an amazing host. Our grandkids love her home, and staying here is a holiday tradition. Thank you for making our holidays warm and bright!

Tony and the Droptine Cottage is my preferred place to stay if visiting in SE Iowa. Using it as a hunting lodge for myself and another, it was perfect for the two of us to have our shared space and private space. Great place!
