Cottage vacation rentals in Newport, Downe

This was the perfect cottage getaway for my girls weekend! We were cozy and comfortable in the cottage, and Jessica made sure of it. It was Valentine's Day weekend (Galentines for us!) and Jessica had the cutest details set out for us - heart mugs, heart decorations and dark chocolate! The beds and blankets were super comfortable, we loved using the hot tub (and we did it at sunset!) and the dock was beautiful and scenic! We look forward to booking with Jessica again. Thank you, Jessica, for everything you did to make our stay memorable and wonderful!

Excellent stay! My husband and I stayed for a relaxing long weekend and we got just that. The house was well equipped and the hot tub added to the relaxation factor. The location was convenient to surrounding areas and a quick walk to the beach. We could not ask for more. We were sad to leave but are very eager to come back.

We loved our stay here . The grandkids and everyone had a great time with all the amenities provided . Kayaking , fishing , crabbing , swimming etc . We also enjoyed the outdoor concert at the pier & the nearby restaurants ! Would definitely love to stay here again . Salvatore was very friendly and helpful !

Great host! Was very accommodating of our last minute booking and was super attentive at all times, even late at night. Gave my boyfriend and I a list of places to go. I will definitely be back during the summer to use the pool and take advantage of the walking distance beach. The house decor is very nice and adds to the vibe of the house which is tranquility and relaxation.

I was a bit skeptical at first because I've never booked a hotel room through airbnb. This experience was great. The suite was clean and I was able to have my pup with me. Located close to the beach and attractions. Great stay, would recommend.

Perfect place to explore both Rehoboth and Lewes, near biking paths, outlets the beach, and so much more. The house is great for family and friends. We took full advantage of the fire pit, hot tub, ping pong and awesome kitchen.

House was very clean and the space was perfect for our family, including 2 small dogs. Location is a quick and easy drive to all major Cape May activities and popular restaurants. Lots of spacious hang-out areas in the house, and appreciated all the amenities of dishwasher, laundry, wifi and large TV. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely book this house again.

This was my first time to Cape May. I took a mommy daughter trip and i can’t rave about this place enough. The house was beautiful and cozy. And i loved that it was pet friendly and we got to bring our Rosie girl along with us. I can’t thank you enough for opening your home to us and the amount of appreciation we had for such an incredible trip. It was close enough to go all the places we wanted within a 15 minute drive so everything worked out perfectly. Thank you so much!!!

Thomas is the best landlord I’ve ever seen on Airbnb. His place is wonderful for two people with/without small dogs and all the necessary to feel like home. Don’t look for a TV. Board games, puzzles and great conversation is all that you need there! I highly recommend it and we will come back soon.

We came back to this Airbnb a second time. It was just as lovely, beautiful, and serene to be in as the first time around. Thank you Kathleen and team for such a a wonderful stay and for being so great with communication and accommodations. 10/10 recommend this hidden gem! The entrance to the house may be hard to find at first, but once you do find the trail to drive in, it’s like driving through the enchanted forest into a private oasis. Thank you again!

A lovely charming dog friendly home. It was a short drive to beaches, shops and restaurants. Ellen and Michael are wonderful hosts. The dogs enjoyed resting on the back porch and playing in the fenced in yard. We could not have asked for a more comfortable place for our stay in Cape May. An absolute gem.

We had a great winter getaway in Cape May. The location was very central and close to a lot of the attractions and the house was super clean and was fully stocked for our stay. Taylor even left us dog treats for our pup. The only thing that was upsetting was that the weather was too cold to enjoy the backyard. It was set up with cornhole, hammock, and out door seating around a fire pit. There was even a screen and projector. We have to come back when the weather is warm. Check-in/checkout was super easy with very well communicated instructions. Taylor also provided great recommendations for food and activities. Overall its was a fantastic experience and would 100% stay again next time we are in Cape May.

The house was perfect. I was just disappointed that the washer and dryer didn’t work.

What a gem! Just a few steps to the beach and the boardwalk close by makes this place an ideal spot for a getaway. This house in particular had a nice lot size which our pup loved. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Rehoboth Beach!

I had a wonderful stay! Excellent location just steps from the beach. Quiet and peaceful. Dog friendly. Comfortable bed. Kitchen was stocked with everything I needed. WiFi worked great, which was important for me to work remotely (lots of video conferencing). I hope to return soon!

Excellent and well appointed spot with great decor and private location. Great amenities and pristine clean. Super close walk to the beach. Area is great with some great local restaurants and ice cream spots. Would definitely stay again.

Moondoggies was a cozy, eclectic lovely home. Sara was very responsive and very kind. There was a bottle of wine upon arrival. The area is quiet and peaceful, with very friendly neighbors. Great place to walk, run or bike. It was lovely to see the sunrise from the rooftop deck and sunset from the beach. We had originally intended to go out to Cape May , but just were so cozy and happy around the backyard table and the fire pit at night. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Loved the outdoor shower. Loved all the detailed and kitschy nod to the Gidget theme as well as a little bit of Gilligans island . We were there celebrating a 50th birthday and it was a perfect girls getaway. I will be back with them again or my family.thank you Moondoggies for a great getaway!

Perfect little cottage in a great location! Everything was clean & bright (great beachy decor) & updated/new. Nicholas was super helpful/responsive, messaged that we could check in early (huge bonus) and not having to bring towels/sheets is a big help! He gives great suggestions for what to do/where to eat, etc. Everything you need to start your vacation was there - paper products, soaps, bath products etc. The bay is so close & has the best sunsets! The patio has a great table/umbrella & the grill was clean & ready to go. The neighborhood is peaceful & quiet but close to plenty of the fun places you’d want to visit. Overall, a top-notch place to stay, perfect for a couple or small group. Highly recommend Nicholas’s cottage! I hope to stay there again soon!

We had a wonderful time at Arbor Road! Teresa's place was cozy and lovely. We really appreciated all of the DIY personal touches. She even had dog bowls and treats waiting for her human and furry guests! The dual living rooms made for a very comfortable stay - even the back living room which is a 3 season room got nice and warm with the electric fireplace and wall heating unit. Teresa was extremely quick to respond to any issues or questions and always offered a solution. The home was a 2-minute walk to the calm bay beach where we took morning and evening strolls with our dog and enjoyed the tide pools of the bay beach. Lots of pet parents on the beach, and everyone was careful to follow leashing rules - we felt safe taking our reactive dog knowing other dog owners were ensuring their dogs were leashed.

Wonderful house a few blocks from the beach and a few blocks from Sunset Park. The area is very quiet and friendly neighborhood. The house was well stocked with basic necessities and the shed had bikes, sand toys, beach chairs, wagon and umbrella etc. Highly recommend. We had an awesome vacation.

We stayed here for the weekend with our infant and parents was spacious and the perfect size for us! very walkable and great location very quiet! Would definitely return for another stay!

This Airbnb truly is STEPS from the beach. We would just run back to the Airbnb for bathroom breaks. It’s also across the street from a fun, outdoor restaurant/bar with live music (The Point). We personally enjoyed sitting in the yard and hearing the live band while playing games - you don’t hear the music inside and the band stops around 9. It’s also close to everything else in Sea Isle such as Excursion Park, shops and restaurants. The private yard was great. We cleaned sand off in the outdoor shower and grilled some food on the grill. They have some games and basic kitchen things. No essentials are included (bedding, TP, towels etc). Two rooms are pretty small and the master room is extremely large with a tv and private bathroom. All beds were comfortable. The owner’s home is next door and they are very responsive and friendly.
