Vacation rentals in Newark

The house is beautiful and spacious! The dining room and plants take it over the top! All of our beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The house was clean and accurately described. The hot tub was fabulous! John was super responsive and helpful with recommendations. We enjoyed picking out our favorite Bible verses and all the other scripture around the home. This was our second stay and won’t be our last. We love the quiet, the hot tub, and being right on the lake. It’s a really cozy spot but still has plenty of space for the 6 of us.

Overall very nice place to stay. Convenient location near to Bryn Mawr College and downtown. The apartment was clean and comfy. Dave was very responsive whenever we needed help and responded almost immediately, which was especially helpful when my 18-yo daughter got locked inside her bedroom accidentally (the lock on the door probably should be replaced). Dave coached us over the phone on how the gently jimmy the door without breaking anything.

Skeitha is a wonderful host. The unit we rented was as pictured. It has an efficiency kitchen. While I would have loved an air fryer or blender those are things you can bring from home. It's a small unit but you have everything you need. the neighborhood feels safe and is quiet. neighbors are friendly. Our dog was very comfortable as well. I'd say the city center is only 5 miles away. It was easy to get around and lots of convenience marts and supermarkets in the area though we packed a cooler. we made breakfasts and brought snacks and beverages but you can get that all once you arrive. There is a charcoal grill and a small outdoor patio area that you can use. We didn't grill or spend much time other than to sleep at the unit but it was perfect for our needs. We would return and highly recommend. The lockbox was easy to use and entry to unit easy to access. It was a wonderful weekend!

Tyler's place was the perfect house for our Spring break getaway! This house has EVERYTHING you need for traveling away from home. The house itself gives off a warm and cozy homelike vibe and we couldn't have been more comfortable. Tyler was very helpful and responsive from the beginning to the end of our trip. Although the highlight of our trip was supposed to be Great Wolf Lodge (which is only 15 mins away), there was so much to do at Tyler's. From the kayaks, indoor & outdoor games, swing, beautiful view of the water, BBQ (grill) and relaxing sunporch & deck, we could not have asked for a more accommodating place. Would definitely book again. Thanks Tyler!

It was really cozy place! We love it! Nice neighborhood and walking distance to restaurant and bar. Owner is lovely person. We would like to stay again.

My stay at Matt’s was lovely! I stayed for one night with my cousin for a quiet, relaxing girl’s getaway and it was perfect! The place was so cute and quaint! It was perfect for what we needed.

We had a great stay at Shelly’s lovely sparkling clean place in which we felt comfortable right away. Shelly was gracious and responsive. We appreciated all the amenities and hope we can visit again.
