Quiet, impeccably kept getaway to enjoy nature and rest. Great places to eat and explore just a short drive away, as well as a nice property to go for a ramble. Hosts are very thoughtful- stocked the fridge with eggs from the family farm, and offered fresh baked snacks, but also very mindful of respecting space. Would definitely visit again for a weekend getaway to enjoy downtime!

Tyler’s home was exactly what was needed. It’s perfectly tucked into a quiet area on the water. As soon as we walked in we felt right at home. Everything was spotless and welcoming. We love to cook so the large kitchen with the big island worked great. Bedrooms and the bathroom were very spacious. The long sunroom had places for multiple people to sit and relax, play games, socialize or just take in the views of the water. Step outside and chill or sunbathe on the deck. We woke up early and sat out by the water to watch the sunrise. The place is amazing. We appreciated his mindfulness about making people feel at home. There were little touches that some might overlook…extra padding on the carpet in the children’s room, extra blankets, chocolates snd marshmallows for the firepit, canoes, wood and a lot of dishes. If you like fishing this is the spot! We caught catfish, perch and fought with three huge carp. :) The carp won but we’ll get them when we visit next time. Thanks Tyler!

I stayed at the site for one night and it was probably the best sleep I’ve gotten in a long time. Monica was very friendly and very responsive. She took her time to show me back to the location and show me around the site. Everything was already provided so I didn’t need to pack much! It was an 85 degree day and was worried I’d be hot but the location is in the woods and was cool and comfortable to sleep! I had an amazing time sitting by the fire all night listening to music and taking in the scenery of the woods and the little river that was right out front. 10/10 would love to come back.

Nick's home was beautiful and very comfortable. We spent the weekend there for my husband's birthday with my grown children and grandchildren. We were within walking distance of all the things we wanted to do in town, plus good restaurants. I would definitely recommend this house to others, it was awesome with all the amenities like home and a great layout. The only downside was the early checkout time of 10 a.m., so we felt a bit rushed getting out with five adults, a toddler and a baby.

Shelley's home is warm, cozy and welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable and quickly relaxed. We will definitely be revisiting as we found it so hard to leave, especially our littlest. The rooms are bright, clean and cheerful. We had plenty of room for our entire family to stretch out. While the weather wasn't the best (our stay was over Presidents day weekend, typically cold and wet) we had an enjoyable family time hanging out in the home playing cards. Shelley is quick to respond with clear answers. This home is perfect for a short or long stay, and provides an excellent environment to rest and recharge.

We did a work leadership retreat for 3 nights - wonderful stay. The place is great, the view is beautiful. Better than advertised. I plan to bring my family back this summer.

A group of friends were attending a wedding nearby. This place was close and affordable. It's all very nicely decorated. It was very clean and all listed amenities were there. Upon arrival we did have difficulty with the lock, but Amy was very responsive and helped us within a few minutes. A few people in the group were awakened by trains, but most of us slept through them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during a work trip in the area. It easily fit our large group and all of the beds were extremely comfortable. Would definitely book again!
