Kid-friendly vacation rentals in West Virginia

This little home was very cozy and cute. It was extremely clean with no strong fragrances from plug ins or laundry detergents. We are sensitive to strong, chemical smells and we were very comfortable here. It was a five minute drive to our destination, we lived the beautiful trees in the backyard and the surrounding houses were quiet. It was a peaceful stay! Thank you!

The family and I had a wonderful stay at this super cute and unique place! We all loved the Harry Potter theme and candy shop! The level 2 charger was such a plus! We would love to stay here again! Highly recommend! Rachel and Nate were very responsive. We had so much fun at near by Winterplace tubing, skiing and snowboarding and bonus was the 2plus inches of snow! The roads were well maintained and not an issue.

We had a great stay here while in town for a running event. Felt outdoorsy, but make it luxury. Love the short drive to town where there are plenty of great places to eat. We will definitely be staying here again when we are back in town.

Exactly what we were looking for. Clean, peaceful and roomy. Kitchen with everything you need. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the surrounding area. Debra was very responsive, when we needed to extend. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay. Very comfortable place in a very quiet neighborhood. The place was clean and extremely well appointed with amenities. Jessica was very friendly and responsive. We came during Christmas and were pleasantly surprised to find a little Christmas tree lit up in the living room when we arrived. There were also snacks and coffee available and some extra touches that made us feel right at home. The neighborhood was great for walking our dogs, and the fenced-in-yard was perfect for them. Great stay, and we would definitely stay again.

First impressions: clean and well kept. Thanksgiving with family worked out well thanks to the tidy house with plenty of kitchen stuff to make our meals. Central heat kept us warm and the working fireplace was great to hang out around. We didn't go out and about due to snow. There is only one bathroom but we made it work for us.

This was our first stay in WV and we drove on from out of state. Diana and her place set the bar for host etiquette and living space. We came in a little late so the refreshments already stocked came in clutch. Two bathrooms were tremendous. Coffee pot, toaster, stove, washer, dryer, TV and heaters made the stay feel like were right at home. I had a hard time locking the windows, so Diana asked her brother who lives on the property to help us out. Incredible service! We went skiing and our 6yo said his favorite part of the trip was the house we stayed in! We had to check out early due to a severe winter storm and she helped us out there too! We would definitely stay here again!

As shown in the photos, there is a staircase with many steps outside that you have to take to reach the apartment. Once, there, you are in comfortable, spacious place that has most everything you'll need. The bed is quite comfortable and Sue provided 2 lovely quilts and a blanket, which were appreciated. The bathroom is huge (the size of a bedroom!) and has a washer and dryer inside, with still more room to spare! It was great having access to the washer and dryer for travelers like us who had been on the road for a while. We only stayed a few nights, but were able to visit New River Gorge National Park for 2 afternoons as well as make it to the Exhibition Coal Mine Museum in Beckley and to Tamarack to do some shopping. We would gladly stay again here if we return to the area.

Amy's airbnb is in a great location. Right on the New River. I could sit on the deck and hear the falls/rapids. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of spices, coffee and tea. The wifi was excellent. Amy made sure all was comfortable. It snowed one day while I was there and early in the morning she placed ice melt on the stairs. I will go again.

We had a great stay! Directions were clear, the apartment was very spacious and comfortable, and it is in a great location close to many hikes to enjoy the outdoors!

Great location for adventuring in the New! Quiet, easy to find and spacious we would definitely go back. Couches were super comfy & the heated vent in the bathroom was a nice touch. We got froze out of our camping spot over the weekend and needed a last minute place to crash and Harry was so helpful and responsive.

Words can not express how amazing my stay was. First the location of the apartment is in the cutest little town , like something out of a hallmark movie. The host left clear instructions on how to get in and even left the lights on for me because arrived late at night. When I opened the door to the place it not only looked like the photos but even better in person! The place was clean, had all the amenities one would need for a stay and it was cozy, modern and I felt right at home. Even when I had to extend my stay the host was helpful and responded with a timely manner with the updated pricing, Pamela was also responsive and such a kind person to have as a host. I would definitely recommend this stay for future guest!

Great condo, we stayed for a long weekend to visit my grandson at WV University!!! We enjoyed our visit to Beckley!!! We will stay again when we are in the area!!! Thanks for everything!!!

8 of us stayed in Condo D203 for our annual ski trip. The location of this condo is very convenient as one of the slopes is located a few steps away, which is great for stopping in to grab a bite to eat or take a break without taking to much time away from skiing. Stephanie was very quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay. Driving to the condo and parking was also very easy even with all the snow Winterplace received this year. Our group had a great time with no complaints, we hope to return for our next annual ski trip!

My fiancé and I loved Josh's place. It was so nice to have Sassy our lab in such nice surroundings. The yard was great for her to go out and we had most every convenience that was needed except for a Spaghetti ladel. So I bought one at the Dollar Tree and left it! lol We will always use Josh's place when we are in Beckley visiting our 5 grandchildren. Thanks for everything Josh!

David was a very nice guy. He approved our request right away and let us in. We had some truck issues upon leaving, and he was very understanding and let us stay late (THANK YOU)!

Very great stay. Rick did an excellent job communicating with us before and during our stay. Even giving a heads up on possible weather conditions that could impact the trip to the area. Everything was exactly as listed and easy to find. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to the area.

Very happy with the stay. If you are looking for something right off the slopes then this is it. Really nice being on the first floor. Everything was as described. We wanted a place where we could ski, rest, and go back out. This was it and i would happily stay there again.
