Pet-friendly vacation rentals in New Mexico

Great location, away from some of the hustle and bustle yet close to the Plaza and good restaurants. House decor was gorgeous. Front sitting porch was a lovely way to start the morning. Restaurant and coffee location and description info in the house manual very helpful.

Communicated a lot with Mrs Janet throughout our long long stay, and every time she was great at answering our questions, had a leak with a water hose outside and she was right on it to come over and fix it. Loved our stay and loved how she made our experience warm!

Very nicely decorated, conveniently located and inexpensive. A great stop on the way to the national parks.

This is a rather nice older home in a quiet neighborhood. It pretty much met all our needs. The two showers are a little odd. The master bath shower and door to the bathroom only have curtains. Can be a little cold in there. The newer shower in the other bathroom is in a very dark end of that bathroom with no light near it. The water temperature is modest. Despite these comments we would stay here again. It is clean, beds are comfortable and it has a large yard for our furry friends.

We felt at home and enjoyed the 2-night stay at this lovely house. The location is great for us to visit White Sands NP. Melissa provided many useful information including place to eat. We were originally disappointed the sleds were not available for us to take to White Sands NP, but we ended up renting sand board at visitor center with $25 and had so much fun. We have college kids so it turned out better doing sand boarding. We would love to come back to stay longer to visit other fun places. Thank you, Melissa.

The place was exactly as described. It was a great location and the house was clean, comfortable and the hot tub was perfect. We fully enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance you would ever need, lots of towels, and also small touches that we appreciated such as all the different coffees and the chips and local salsa was a great touch.

Only there for two nights but was just what myself and family were looking for. Nothing over the top fancy. Just a clean comfortable spot to crash for two nights. The only negative I would have was that the beds were very firm. That is just a personal preference but worth knowing if you have a hard time sleeping on them like I do. Everything was clean, neighborhood was fine and everything inside was just as described and pictures were accurate.

Our family of 4 loved our stay at Art's place. It was absolutely spotless and our entire family enjoyed a dip in the hotsprings pool. We took our kids bowling for the first time at Sidekixx and they are still talking about the most fun dinner ever. It was nice to be able to run a small load of laundry between checking in and going to bed. We are grateful for hospitable hosts like Art on the road who make it easy to travel with small kids.

Ed and Barbara was and is such a blessing. The community here is very therapeutic, even the dogs. This is definitely one of those places that if you could then you would come back over and over again. Barbara will make you feel right at home, so have fun if you dare; you might not want to go home. Nice pool, jacuzzi, lots of of space to feel free and to let loose and be loud. If you're into art sculptures then you have a lot to look at, because this place is filled with the enchanting art work by Ed. This experience will leave an everlasting impression on you. Very unique place, clean, quiet, great views, close to Las Cruces, but felt far away from people. Highly recommend staying here.

Great hosts and they were very welcoming! Place was very clean and the property was gorgeous! We stayed a few nights and it was perfect for our two-person trip. Pretty easy to find and safe location. Would highly recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again!

The cabin was a great place to stay. Michele and Jim we're very helpful and quick to answer all our questions. They we're able to accommodate to our needs with short notice. Best of all, the views from the deck are great!

Super cute place, the porch and pool/hot tub were lovely in the evenings with a great view. Table outside to eat.

The place was nice and comfortable. One of the wash clothes had a stain on it and there was a spider in the bedroom that I had to kill. But other than these small issues it was a good stay and the views were spectacular!

Absolute serenity -- Sandy's guest house is immaculately maintained, thoughtfully decorated, and adorned with a beautiful garden full of birds of all varieties. The views are truly epic: New Mexico's high desert mountains both near and far, Bear Creek right outside the backdoor, and unmatched dark sky stargazing with the Milky Way and stars stretching from horizon to horizon. What can beat taking in this scenery while also sitting in a hot tub taking it all in? Sandy also provides fresh baked bread and organic coffee and other breakfast items that get each day started on the right foot. Sandy is also highly responsive and available for any questions, and cheerfully provides great advice on local hikes/activities/restaurants. Local hiking opportunities are also top-notch and offer a variety of options, including summiting 9000 ft peaks, canyon hikes through multicolored towering rocks, and naturally occurring hot springs. We will be back!

Cozy really is the most accurate description of this cabin (photos don't do it justice). Everything was exceptional clean inside and out. Host was very kind and left plenty of goodies for our visit. Google maps was a bit confused as to how to get us to the listed location. We recommend asking host for location details/helpful tips once you have your ETA.

I can’t say enough about Kitty and Joe! They are delightful, so helpful with any request and the location is everything and more than we hoped for. Quiet, beautiful views, lots of hiking nearby. We have already signed up to come back next summer! If you love a semi rural, quiet home within 15 minutes of excellent restaurants, grocery stores, cultural activities, etc this casita is perfect.

This place is great! As soon as we entered, it felt like home. It is roomy, comfortable and spotless. There is abundant storage, including drawers, shelves and closets. Furniture, towels, dishes and cookware are good quality and little extras like labels, several plush scatter rugs on the floors and an odds & ends drawer show that David had his guests’ satisfaction in mind. This home is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We really enjoyed our extended stay at Villa Califa!

A beautiful little casita. All amenities as described. Margaret is a wonderful host with recommendations for local spots to tour, books about the area, and restaurants (hint: try the Buckhorn in San Antonio!). Quiet country location with easy access to both Bosque del Apache and Socorro.

What an interesting gem! The building itself is very unique but the decor is like being in a gallery of cool regional stuff! We were there in the spring, so some of the outside spaces were still in winter mode, but I’m sure that in the summer, they are even better! We encountered an issue with the hot tub, and Daniel tried to get it rectified but it ended up not being ready in time for us to use it, but he adjusted our bill accordingly. That was much appreciated…. Especially that he was proactive about it. Overall, we had a great stay and found the home and the area to be everything we needed for our girls trip stay! Thanks Daniel!

Sara's casita is the perfect place for a quiet rest. I needed something close to our daughter's house and would only be spending a few days in Santa Fe to help with the grandchildren. I do think that the place would benefit from better pillows and linens which seemed old. However, the place is very clean and well maintained. A couple of oversights, a door not latching properly and the lack of dishwashing soap. were corrected immediately. The casita is charming and well-appointed with its own private courtyard. I would love to stay here again, but may bring my own pillow.
