Fun lake house with the PERFECT LOCATION on Canyon Lake! Enjoy the multilevel deck complete with hot tub, fire pit, tiki bar, Weber grill, cocktail pool, amazing views and plenty of seating! There is also access to the water at the ramp next door to the house! Please note: The lake is low right now due to lack of rain. A lovely retreat! Close to the lake, and the river. The trail behind the house was perfect, and the kids even enjoyed the basketball hoop and pickleball court at the end of the trail. The garage has so many great amenities, and the game room was such a blast! Kitchen fully stocked (we made almost all meals at home), beds super comfy with plenty of room for all in the home. Hosts had spot on recommendations for swimming as well. Can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful home set in the countryside where we could see Deer in the backyard every evening and just a few min drive to the lake, less than 30 min from the river. Host was very accommodating for our check-in time. House was clean and has a pleasant set up so we felt at home.

We had a very pleasant stay at Tim’s place. Our first impression was the house being spotlessly clean, very modern vibes, lots of sunshine and the smell of a new house! We also appreciate being provided with plenty of kitchen supplies, bath towels, and even all the necessities for water activities like life jackets, kayak paddles, etc. Deers were roaming around everywhere in the neighborhood & very friendly! However, the lake nearby the house has been going through a long period of severe drought so you may need to expect a much longer walk to finally see some water but it’s super muddy and not accessible at all either for swimming or fishing. We picked the place based on the expectation of 3-min walk to the lake where there would be swimmable clear water and found that somewhat disappointed — even though we understand by no means Tim could have controlled the weather and water level at all. There just wasn’t really anything else to do in the area without the lake being accessible.

Our stay was wonderful. We've been going to New Braunfels for years and this has been a favorite stay. Check in was easy, the house is in a great spot, has easy river access, and we loved that there was plenty of space for the entire family to spread out and be comfortable. Our one year old grandson had plenty of room to play in a safe place. The sunroom or the screened in porch is a perfect spot for coffee in the morning and having the chairs and BBQ pit were perfect for the evening. We floated twice from Little Ponderosa and got out right at the house which was great especially since some chose to just hang out in the river by the house. We will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you for being great hosts!

Nice, clean and private. Great big windows in the front of the house, We requested window shades for privacy at night, completed, and very responsive. There was a minor issue with the heating, fixed, very responsive! There was a small issue with the dryer, fixed, very responsive! The deer 🦌 were our special guests, they visited us every morning and throughout the day until sunset. The area has septic systems therefore we suggest drinking bottled water. The east window has a great view of the sunrise! Ample space for a family with kids with the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. Cable service was great, never had dropping problems. Very close to restaurants and retail stores. Unfortunately, due to the drought they have been experiencing for the last couple of years, we were unable to enjoy any water activities in the Canyon Lake. There is no water activity at all. Thank you, Jude! We enjoyed our stay while we were there. M&M
