Vacation rentals with lake access in Nepal

We had an amazing time at the villa. The hostess was fast responsive. They picked up us at the Fewa lake by boat, it was enjoyable way to the villa. The villa’s design is amazing, it has some kitchenette where you can cook, 2 beautiful bedrooms, a huge living room with a guitar, a drum, TV with Netflix and even karaoke. The place is so cozy, you are alone at the nature at evening and wake up with fantastic views on Himalayas. At the day time there is a small cafe where you can order food or rent SUP board or a kayak. And you can easily climb to amazing Stupa pagoda and come back, it’s just 30-40 minutes one way. The best place we stayed in Nepal!

A wonderful place to relax after Annapurna trek! The view from the room is incredibly calming, the hot shower is fantastic with great pressure and really hot water, the mattress is very comfortable, the location is perfect just a short walk away from the best places to eat lakeside (Juivery Cafe is THE breakfast/brunch place not to be missed). All in all a great experience, Timon has been very helpful, he advised me to take a cable car trip (the cable car is just 15 minutes walk away) to Sarangkot and I absolutely loved it. Totally recommended!

This is a great spiritual place, just next to a retreat center. The bed- / living room was very spacious at the top floor with a huge rooftop terrace with 270° breathtaking sunrise view and mountain view! All spiritual interesting spots you can reach by foot, same for supermarket and restaurants. I can highly recommend this place, and the best is, with the room rate you sponsor this retreat center.

This place is clean and comfortable with shops and local restaurants nearby. The lake is only a short walk away. What really stood out is the friendliness of the host family. I felt that we arrived as strangers and left as close friends . Super helpful and lovely throughout our stay. Will definitely be back to stay there again.

Whether you're looking for short-term or long-term, Ram's apts. at 8848 are a great choice. Everything in the apt. was clean, new, and in good working order, and it's well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Tons of hot water, day or night, and great shower pressure. Great location in Lakeside, but a bit away from the main touristy areas. Still an easy walk to the lake, but far enough away for a bit of peace and quiet. Easy access to some nice hikes and nature as well. For nomads like me, it's also a 5-minute walk to a co-working space, though I worked from the apt. most days. Super fast Wi-Fi too. And there's even a backup generator for when the power goes out (which is about once a week in Nepal). But the Wi-Fi here stays on! Ram is a kind and gracious host and will happily accommodate your every need. Would definitely come back :)

We had a wonderful time at Asok‘s place. You can walk to the main lakeside area in 5 minutes and the restaurants, bars and cafes are also near by. The apartment is big and spacey. We would definitely come here again.

Durga's place was absolutely wonderful and we can't recommend it enough! We were doing an elective placement at a local hospital and the flat was an ideal place for us to stay. It was clean, well equipped, and the balcony is a lovely spot to spend the evenings. Lakeside is a 25 minute walk away. Durga and his family made us feel really welcome and they were always available if we needed to ask for advice about anything - for example when we decided to go paragliding Durga sorted this for us on very short notice, which we appreciated a lot. There was an option to have a home cooked breakfast and dinner (a very delicious dhalbat!) included for a very reasonable price. It was a real shame that we had to cut our time in Pokhara short due to the COVID pandemic but we will definitely try to come back when things get back to normal!
