We had a wonderful weeklong stay at Durand's place. My family and I thought it was presented beautifully. The location was very convenient to get around town nearby. Though it's close to the hospital and main road, it was so quiet at night with the double-glazing. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Nelson.

River View House, exceeded expectations in many ways. Our priority is “ambience” and Trudy’s house had it in spades! The sight and sound of the small flowing river was matched, even exceeded by the stunning gardens. The outside sitting areas were completely private. View of the nearby hills from living areas and main bedroom. Very comfortable furnishings. And great to be so close to the city shopping and cafe areas. Nice walking directly over the road in to the peaceful gardens. With on site cafe. Trudy was very helpful with sightseeing recommendations. She is an amazing host who goes way beyond to ensure her visitors have a memorable experience.

We loved this artistically decorated home in a very quiet neighborhood just blocks from all the activity. It was very well appointed for a traveller and we could have easily stayed longer. The host was very helpful and responsive.

Wonderful place to stay, very private and quiet. Superb location, close to the City and surrounding attractions. Jeff was a superb host, the place was comfy, super clean and felt very much like a home away from home. Will definitely rebook if we find ourselves back in Nelson. Highly recommended.

A lovely homely feel, the potplants were gorgeous.. Alexa was fun! Really well supplied home and we appreciated the offer to use pantry supplies. Helen was very responsive. All in all a great home, thank you.

Very comfortable and tidy home, hosts put the fire on before arriving which was great. Impressive views and large home.

Amazing place…have not had a better view. Definitely need a AWD to get up the hill, but host (Tamarin) made sure that she communicated that before confirming booking. Property has a cat, onyx, very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Huge property to wander around, see sheep, cattle and feed chickens.

Very adorable little house right near center of town. Couple minute walk to restaurants and shopping. Well appointed kitchen. Great beds. Super cute outside space. Washer/dryer came in super handy after our 4 days of trekking. Would definitely stay here again!
