Apartment vacation rentals in Nelly Bay

I was concerned with our check in as we were arriving on the last car ferry, when the office was closed. It did take a while to get an answer, and I found the people I spoke to not very reassuring and quite frustrating. In the end it did get sorted and the key was where it was meant to be. The complex is very nice to stay in and the choice of 4 pools is just great. The deck catches a lot of wind so you do have to be aware of it when you open the sliding door. Very comfortable accommodation with all the ammenities you could wish for.

Lighthouse was amazing to stay at. Great location and view. The apartment had everything we needed and the hosts were easy to get onto. It was comfy and clean. A great place to stay.

This is the second time that we have stayed at Josephine’s. The unit is clean with everything that we need and it is in a great spot. When we had a minor issue with the lockbox Josephine was easy to contact and very helpful.

Unfortunately due to weather we didn’t end up getting to this air b n b. But the host was very responsive.

Due to the recent floods we needed a place urgently. Mia (and her mother assisting her) were always reachable and responded promptly. They were so amazingly gracious and generous in their flexibility given our circumstances and that is commendable. They have been excellent hosts and I would definitely recommend Mia as a host for her hospitality. We discussed about an extension to our initial booking but weren’t sure if we would need it depending on how bad the floods got. She was flexible about this given circumstances and this helped make our stay less stressful. We love the location and the Strand as its central, convenient and ease of access. The place was clean, comfy and functional. There’s also good amount of parking both on and off street.

We were very happy with our stay. Nadene was very quick to respond to any enquiries and the unit was very clean and perfect to explore townsville from. Would recommend.

I don’t even know where to start. Julie went above and beyond for my stay! From picking me up at the airport (on an extremely wet day) and bringing some essentials. The room was incredible and the view was worth every single cent. I had the most relaxing week and the local fruit and choccies were a very very happy suprise! Anytime I’m back in Tville I will absolutely stay here. Thanks again Julie!!! 🥰

Overall we had a very good stay! The location is amazing because of the water views and how it’s directly on the strand! Walkable to many restaurants, and the terrace was so nice to be on when the weather was nice. Sandra responded quickly and was helpful! We booked last minute and she was still quick to respond! The place was clean, had cooking utensils, linens provided, etc! The only downside was how there is only a small air con in the bedroom, it does not flow pass the doorway into the main room which on hot days made it basically unbearable to be in the living/kitchen area for too long so we spent a lot of time sitting on the bed. Overall it has all the things you need for a short stay! We enjoyed our stay!

Jody’s place was a great spot for our stay in Townsville. Walkable to lots of restaurants as well as things to do. We used the e-scooters to get anywhere that was slightly further as they were always around and easy to use. The place was lovely and cool in the summer NQ heat, and the pool was a great addition. The backyard is beautiful and well looked after. It was a very pleasant and quiet little oasis. No outside noise or loud roads which was excellent given the central location. Great local recommendations from Jody upon arrival. Will absolutely book again if ever in TSV!

Geoffs place is in a great location where you can easily walk to a great number of restaurants and cafes. It was very clean. Just be aware that the unit is on the third floor and there’s only stairs to access. The Aircon in the bedroom is great and there is a very comfortable pillow top mattress and a choice of two types of pillows. I had an unusually good sleep due to the comfort of the Bed. Would definitely stay again when in Townsville.

Caro and Rouven were a delightful host couple - friendly, welcoming, proactive. The studio space was fresh and spacious, with a huge bathroom including bathtub and walk-in shower. The guest had the entire private backyard with a comfy outdoor setting. The family lived upstairs and were always very quiet in the evenings. I was there for 2 weeks and had blissful sleeps every night. Very easy to find, and Caro made sure you could find your way easily late at night with a trail of lights.

Our second stay here and was just as great as the first visit. The accommodation, view, location and pool are the best we have had in Townsville. David is an amazing host. We will definitely stay again.

It is a great accommodation. It met our trip's needs, it is/had: • away from the main streets • good location to visit other town areas • homely and comfortable • necessary items (such as extra bedding, towels, kitchen items, etc) • general kitchen and bathroom essentials (that aren't available at other types of accommodation) • cleaning items and products, etc • good business - customer communication, interaction and arrangements

Lovely palace with everything you could need. Hosts were great with communication and helping me with information around the flooding. Would most certainly book again.

Perfect location being that its only 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. Close to great food! Perfect for a family or even just a couple who want a home away from home vibe! Perfect setting for a "wind down" holiday! Everything was clean and tidy and Andrew was fantastic to work with. Would not hesitate to book again in the future.

This was our first time visiting Magnetic Island and this place was exactly what we needed! The apartment was modern and spacious for the two of us. The best thing is that it’s walking distance from the ferry.

The house is cozy, clean, and perfectly equipped with everything needed to fully enjoy Magnetic Island. Simone's apartment is just stunning! A beautiful, sprawling apartment with views from every room - the water is so close it feels like you're on a boat! With all the little extras in the pantry and bathroom it feels like home instantly and with shops and restaurants within walking distance - we will be back!
