We had a wonderful stay at Michael's place! The home was impeccably clean and Michael was incredibly responsive to our needs. The thoughtful touches like fresh towels, toiletries and snacks made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again!

I decided to stay at the Cottage in lieu of a hotel to ensure the comfort and convenience for my family. Upon arrival, I was immediately pleased with the choice. The well appointed home was welcoming and stocked with all of the essentials. Our host, Sissy, seemed to have considered the details in preparing the home for guests. Moreover, the home felt like a cozy cottage living up to its name. I would not only be inclined to book the home in the future, but I would also gladly recommend it to others!

This property is truly amazing. The simple exterior does not prepare you for the level of comfort provided inside. Plush comfortable seating in the front room, well appointed kitchen and absolutely beautiful screened porch overlooking the river. We really enjoyed hanging out at the house and relaxing. It felt like we had come to visit a family member rather than a rental. We are already looking forward to our next trip back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! It was a last-minute trip, and the owners were incredibly responsive and kind, making the booking process effortless. The photos truly don’t do this place justice—everything was even more stunning and peaceful in person. From the cozy atmosphere to the breathtaking surroundings, it was the perfect getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already planning our next stay. We’ll definitely be back, we plan to make this our little annual anniversary getaway 💕

This is a beautiful cabin by the lake. We enjoyed our mornings sitting out on the porches watching ducks and herons on the water and the sunsets at night. Inside is beautifully decorated and super cozy. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed playing shuffleboard. We went into Natchitoches (about a 35 minute drive) for the Christmas Lights Festival which was quite a show! We ate at Mayeaux’s and HIGHLY recommend! The food there is amazing!! We loved our stay!

The cabin on Cane River was a quiet, cozy & welcome way to spend the Christmas holiday. I enjoyed the festivities in town (twinkling lights, parades & fireworks) but could come back to the cabin for relaxing evenings by the water. The added touches and Lonnie’s quick responses to questions and requests made it extra special.

The house is very clean and nice, inside and out. The house is along the Cane River and the view of the river from the house is so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and having a fire in the fireplace and visiting with our friends. Patrick even had wood for us to use…we haven’t had that luck at other bnb’s! The house has everything you need for an enjoyable time. It’s a short drive to Natchitoches with interesting scenery along the way. Highly recommend Patrick’s place!

Great place to stay away from front street area in Natchitoches but not far to drive to visit front street. Awesome view of the Cane River - peaceful and relaxing.

A scenic pathway lined with large oak trees leads to a charming home. The house features a wide porch and a welcoming front entrance, surrounded by well-maintained lawns and greenery.

This was a beautiful home right on the Cane river. Very spacious, clean, and everything looked brand new. They were still working on getting everything stocked up and the fireplace hooked up, but the comfortable beds, beautiful decor, and lovely outdoor patio will bring us back to James' place anytime we travel to Natchitoches!

Downtown Riverside Oasis: Deck, Hot Tub & More!

The house was spacious with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated with modern amenities. The furnishings in the main part of the house appear to be antiques, adding lots of charm. The rear deck was spacious and easily accessible with stairs going all the way down to the river. The location is in the historic district with an easy walk to the shops and restaurants on Front Street and the riverbank. Andrea was easy to work with and very attentive to any questions we had. We will definitely try to stay here again on our next trip to Natchitoches!

Our stay was everything we wanted for our getaway to celebrate the beginning of the holidays. The house was decorated for Christmas which put us in the mood for the holiday festivities of lights. Angela was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Historic home just steps from Downtown

Jami's house is well appointed and great for a group. Our young family needed a place to stay close by to relatives that live in town. House has great access to Front Street and Cane River Lake. We will definitely stay here again as the family grows and we are back in town. Note: Two bedrooms are upstairs (two queens and two twins) and two bedrooms are downstairs (1 king, 1 queen). This worked well for our family but was unclear on the website. Thanks for hosting!
