Staying in Minmi’s home was a magical experience. Minmi was the sweetest, most genuine host and her home was incredibly special. The views were stunning and we found such peace staying here as a family. We spent two nights and just adored how cozy the home was - everything was curated to tell a piece of her family’s story, the home’s journey, and to write the next chapter of yours. Also, Minmi is an excellent chef and treated us to such a loving and DELICIOUS dinner at her restaurant next door (Shioji). We can’t say enough about how special it was to stay here on our family trip. Thank you Minmi and Gen! 🌅 🌊 🐕❤️

Very well looked after traditional house. If you are looking for something Japanese, you will love it. A few minutes walk from Tadano-umi station and the ferry port. A convenience store and a local supermarket only a few minutes walk. For the restaurants, we drove to Takehara, about 15 minutes away. You will have all different kinds of choices there. The communication with the post was amazingly smooth. She recommended us an Italian restaurant in Takehara, and it was a lovely place to eat in :-) All the towels and linens were new and fresh. Everything was very clean. Enjoyable stay :-)

I loved the feeling of this house! Very traditional and peaceful home in the countryside. Roseanne was very thoughtful, and even came to greet me after I arrived. The outdoor area is also very nice if you want to sit outside and enjoy the nature.

This is my second time here. We visited this place both in summer and winter. Astronomically, the Milky Way is visible in the summer, and the stars are visible in the winter. Both have their own charm. However, in January and February it gets cold here and doesn't open the door. Koreans are traveling to Matsuyama these days, and if you're interested in the universe or want to see the scenery of the Japanese countryside, it's worth coming. If you buy a ticket to Kumakogen at JR Matsuyama Station, you can go for 1200 yen one way. It will take about 1 hour 10-20 minutes. The bus winds up the mountain endlessly, and you can see the view of Matsuyama and the view of the village of Kumakogen (Guman Plateau). The bus arrives at the village hall, and right next to the village hall is a supermarket as big as Lotte Mart. If you buy a lot of food at the supermarket and take a taxi for 9-10 minutes, you will see the sea of stars at the end of the tremendous darkness. When you get off the taxi, your host grandfather will be waiting for you. When you talk to this quiet grandfather, you feel that you are a very good and good person. On my last visit, I also saw this grandfather and fireworks at the wood observation deck that my grandfather made himself in front of the house. To add, it's on top of a mountain, so it can be cold, so I recommend wearing it a little thicker than what you'll wear in Matsuyama. Recommended!

The place was wonderfully clean and cozy, while the price was much reasonable compared to other hotels in the region. My partner and I were impressed by how hospitable the host was. I strongly recommend this place to every visitor.

It was nice to be so beautiful.The location was also easy to sightsee, which was great.

We had a great time in Ehime thanks to the home we were able to stay in~ We did forget to buy water a few times so there being water at the house really saved us! The home was very clean and there were AC units in almost every room to either keep you warm or cool~

Awesome place to stay. You can see the sunrise while lying in bed and have an amazing ocean view. The Jacuzzi is perfect to warm up on colder days. House is very clean and cozy. We would have loved to stay longer!
