Chalet vacation rentals in Namib Desert

A secret retreat in Namaqualand. Close to Springbok and amenities but peaceful. Was a great spot to explore the surrounds, hondeklip bay, the shipwreck, namaqualand. A good halfway stop, but should have booked longer to explore more. The unit has an authentic farmhouse chic aesthetic which makes for good photos. Windmill, Dam, Animals, rustic decor and an authentic farm experience. Fields of namaqualand flowers, sweet air and just the sounds of birds, my dog loved it. Len was very accommodating and helpful. Went above and beyond as a host. Will definitely return.

This property is quiet and safe and conveniently located on the C27 in a desert landscape among beautiful rolling hills. We were offered the use of the kitchen in the main house which was much appreciated. The host, Leslie is very friendly and engaged us in interesting conversations. We recommend this property as a peaceful stay on a working farm. We wish we could have explored it further, but we needed to be on our way.

Nada welcomed us very warmly and even offered to share the Christmas holidays with her family and friends. We were able to taste local specialties and were particularly well integrated during the holiday periods. Thanks again for everything with very good memories of the sunset on top of the dunes.
