Vacation rentals with breakfast in Nakatsugawa

Even better than expected! We had the place for ourselves. I though that we would be all on futons in one room but my elders friends got their own bedroom and it was westerners beds. The host is very kind and cook an excellent japanese breakfast. The fire place add to the experience. It was super clean. We needed to fold our futons to get a double layers otherwise it was too thin.

I stayed with 6 people. We had a very good time checking in and checking out smoothly. The place was also close to the station, which was a car this time, but there was plenty of parking and very accessible. If you get another chance, thank you!

I had a great stay here. The house is very comfortable and well-furnished. The sauna and outdoor bath are great, I really recommend it, it feels so good ! It's also situated in a very beautiful place, surrounded by mountains. And the owners, both very welcoming and warm people, they assure that you have everything you need, in a discreet way. He cooks delicious meals, with fresh ingredients that he grows or harvest himself ! The breakfast is delicious and I really recommend you to ask for dinner too. Also I was sick the last days, and they cared for me and worried about me, I was really grateful. I will come again ! Thank you so much for everything.

Yusuke and his family live in a traditional Japanese house that is very modern and equipped with everything. It's all around beautiful and everything has style. In addition, the entire family is very nice and helpful. We slept very well on the futons, and the morning breakfast was excellent. Above all, it is served lovingly. Should we come to Ena again, we would definitely stay a few days longer, because from Ena you can make various day trips to the area, and all this by train and/or bus.

We had a wonderful week at Chisako and Koji's. Welcoming, kind and always with good advice, Chisako and Koji are perfect hosts. We highly recommend the Japanese doll activity with Chisako, we really enjoyed this class and we have a great souvenir to take home <3 Everything was perfectly clean and neat, we can only recommend this place :) Thank you for everything!!

Atsushi is a friendly host who tried his best to make us feel comfortable during our stay. The place was spacious and traditional, perfect for experiencing a glimpse of local life.

A homestay for a property that was originally a villa. The owner told me a lot about nearby walks. The view is good because it is on a hill, and it feels great if you barbecue in the summer!

I had a wonderful time at Julian's Pension and can highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Katrina and Julian were really friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. Thanks to the advice from Katrina, I was able to experience their local Onsen, the Fujimi Panorama Resort and learned a lot of really interesting facts about the life in Japan. The private room and shared facilities were really clean and had everything I needed. Western style Breakfast and dinner was always delicous. There are still places in Fujimi I would love to visit and if it works out, I would really love to stay at this B&B again.

This was the best stay of our trip! The home was warm and welcoming. Chris was an excellent host; attentive, full of suggestions and recommendations, and very helpful with every request we had. It felt like we had an insider connection to this city. Big thank you!

Located at an altitude of more than 1,000 meters, it is very comfortable even in summer, the facility is very clean, and the hot spring is new, so you can relieve the fatigue of the trip. You can have breakfast on the wooden terrace, and the breakfast is delicious and green, so you can have the best morning. The owner is also very bright and attentive to various details, and the hospitality is perfect. This inn is recommended for those who want to spend a Uttari holiday in nature.

Lovely family, beautiful area

Naomi and Christ were terrific hosts. They communicated well and often. Having lived in Minowa in the distant past, unbeknownst to me, it was remarkable that she already knew my host family. Traveling with two small children—ages 8 and 6—Naomi was very inviting and entertaining to our children. She immediately showed them the farm. I am grateful for our hosts' flexibility as well. The breakfast was great, too. Overall, staying at LongHills Eco Guesthouse & Cafe made our long-overdue return to Minowa much more memorable. ありがとうお姉ちゃん!!!

Staying with Toshi and Map was truly the highlight of our countryside getaway. They are the most wonderful, kind-hearted couple who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. From helping us connect with local authorities to track a travel experience package, to joining us at a nearby festival and sharing stories along the way — every interaction was filled with warmth and care. On the day of our early departure, they even packed us a thoughtful breakfast — just one of the many gestures that made us feel so well looked after. Their home is absolutely spotless, beautifully kept, and radiates the cozy charm of a true countryside haven. It felt more like staying with family than just another Airbnb.
