Our two-night stay at this Airbnb in Isle of Skye was fantastic! The place was quiet, clean, cozy, and comfortable, making it easy to unwind. Its location was perfect for exploring spots like Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr. The host was friendly and offered great local tips. Highly recommend for a peaceful and convenient stay!

Wonderful hosts! Helpful instructions for getting to the caravan, which was spotless and comfortable for our 4 days on Skye. We would recommend this place to anyone in the area - loved the little guestbook we could add a message to.

This is a perfect place for a solo traveler, just the right size and with everything you need. It has private parking and is easy to get to from town. I was only there for a night but would havebeen perfectly happy staying a couple of days.

Comfortable 2 bed caravan sleeps 4.

YannickRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Great comfortable van in a good location to all the highlights of the islands (especially the northern ones). Unfortunately we were unlucky to experience one of the first major storms of the autumn. Luckily, the van is equipped with a large and good selection of films, which got us through the storm (we always wanted to watch all three Lord of the Rings in the extended version in one go). We'll be back again!

WILLOWBRAE CARAVAN Castlebay Isle Of Barra

LindenRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This is a darling caravan. It was as advertised, cozy and well-placed. Cozy here means both warm and on the small side, but it worked for us four adults. You can walk to town or drive in two minutes. You can see the bay and castle from the front windows. We got there on two sunny days so it got pretty warm, but there are blinds to keep the sun’s rays out. We didn’t like the nearly invisible midges, but that’s Scotland! We loved the Punjabi restaurant in town. The coop also has everything, so you can eat in or out, depending on the season.
A serene seascape at dusk is illuminated by soft pastel hues in the sky. The calm waters reflect the gradient of colors, blending shades of orange, pink, and blue, with silhouettes of distant islands adding depth to the tranquil scene.

Crowlin, Vistas of sea and mountains

PaulRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Caroline was a lovely host. The accommodation was perfect for our stay on Skye as it is located at the main route to Portree and surroundings! One thing you should pay attention to though is the heating. We tried to pre heat for the day but unfortunately it didn’t. Can get a bit cold now here in autumn. All in all a lovely accommodation and a wonderful host. Can totally recommend.

The Smiddy - High-end quality self-catering studio

ChristineRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The Smiddy was without doubt the most beautiful, clean and well equipped place we have stayed in. The view from the property was stunning and there were so many thoughtful touches from the maps and local books to the delicious and very helpful goodies which meant we didn't have to rush to the shops. Carmen and John were perfect hosts, really friendly but not at all intrusive. John was a real mine of local information and it was lovely to hear a bit more about the area, including the visiting orcas. We would definitely revisit and would highly recommend.
