A beautiful cottage for a winter getaway! So relaxing with the hot tub and sauna! Quiet and peaceful area. The cottage was extremely clean and all amenities provided. Great location for visitors exploring Huntsville and Arrowhead Provincial park for winter activities. Would definitely come back!

My stay at Michael and Maria's place was amazing. The goal was 3 days of complete peace, and that was what I had. The house has everything you need for a cozy staycation. The sauna and hot tub were amazing. Beds and linens were comfortable. The lighting throughout the property feels so luxurious. Highly recommend a stay here. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I spent a few nights here and it was fantastic. Brad and Erin were friendly and very responsive! The cottage was everything we were looking for. Quant, private, hot tub, on the lake, pet friendly. What more could you ask for? Highly, highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Sochet’s place! It’s absolutely stunning, well taken care of, and easy to find. Sochet is also very communicable. I would be weary when travelling in the winter and ensure your vehicle is well equipped to handle the conditions - we have a crossover SUV that struggled to get up the steep, narrow driveway due to ice. The parking space is also very tight this time of year, and we couldn’t fit more than two vehicles. Just a word of caution :)

Chelsea was a fantastic host and provided a fabulous cottage for our long weekend with friends. The property itself was perfect for a winter wonderland getaway - between enjoying the hot tub and snowshoeing on the lake, we had a great long weekend! The host was prompt and helpful when we had questions, she prepared us for the trip beforehand and helped us while we were there with anything we needed. We appreciate their attention to detail and comfort while we were there. We also brought our two "fur babies" and they loved the property too! Hi everyone, if you have a friend group or family trip planned this perfect. Since our stay was in the winter, my friends and I already knew what type of vacation we wanted cozy, private home like- with a mix of the home feeling like a hotel. We recieve just that. We use the house from the game room, kitchen to the jacuzzi. We felt as if our money was well spent and we will be back in September. The hosts did an amazing job and responding fast to any of our needs thank you and please book!

We had a great time staying at Anne’s cottage! The place was spotless and absolutely gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean. We came here in February (with snow storms and freezing weather) but the heating system is very capable, floors are warm, and the hot water is instant. Amenities are available as listed as well. Anne and Reid were very responsive and helpful, and overall we had a great time.

Our stay at Sky’s cabin was awesome! It’s a beautiful home and the location from the highway and main Gravenhurst was perfect. The place is just as beautiful as the photos depict it to be. The sauna was a great touch, unfortunately the hot tub didn’t work out for the trip but not a big deal. The Airbnb is on well water, which has a bit of a smell but also not a big deal. Highly recommend bringing a case of water bottles if you’re sensitive to smell though & for drinking water as a must! The only issue we truly encountered was a lack of hand soap and dish soap, they were near empty when we arrived. Would recommend bringing that yourselves just in case. Overall, we loved our stay and it’s a perfect place for a small getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. Host was very prompt and answering questions. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit area and spent time out the front of the cottage at a table and chairs set since that’s where the sun seemed to be most of the day. The firewood provided was very much a bonus that was appreciated, especially since we had a chilly week. The water off the dock is lovely to jump into and the stairs allowed our pets to climb into the water.

Awesome weekend while enjoying the lake view, amazing board games. Not once disappointed!!! Sad to see the weekend go by so fast. Always enjoy the time here & will continue to recommend it to our friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunrae’s cottage. Spacious cottage, beautiful backyard overseeing frozen lake, cozy indoor atmosphere, super close to town of Huntsville. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a relaxing weekend.

My friends and I stayed at this cottage over Thanksgiving weekend and had an amazing time! The cottage was clean and had all the amenities needed. The location was beautiful, with the canoe, kayak and pedal boat being an amazing way to explore the lake. Kristian was also a great host - responded fast, gave recommendations, and was very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place!

We came in winter and it was truly beautiful, we walk around and enjoyed the cozy place. The kitchen have everything you will need, and the beds were super comfortable. Can’t wait to come back in summer!

We had an awesome stay (my husband and 5 year old). Janice made us feel like welcome guests in their space and takes great pride in their cottage. So many down to earth things to do & explore! The pictures do not capture the wonderful experience we had. Waking up to the sights and sounds lily pad pond and then hearing the frogs & crickets at night was a lovely experience. We would highly recommend this cottage stay. Great space & Great hosts! Thank you we would stay again!

We had an amazing stay at the Glenn Burney Lodge cabin. The space was really cozy, and we were greeted with a welcome drink!. The cabin’s location right by the lake was perfect—we loved being able to take a canoe out for a peaceful ride. It’s a great spot to relax and take in the beautiful scenery, also it is close to all the local attractions. We absolutely loved our time here!

We had the most wonderful stay! Catharine and Steve were the most delightful hosts. So accommodating and friendly, having milk for coffee all ready in the fridge upon arrival and offering to set up the fire each evening. We absolutely loved the cottage and dock! The place looks just as pictured if not better, and it was absolutely spotless. The gate on the dock was an added bonus for our very active dog who joined us. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

I just had the pleasure of staying at this winter cottage with my friends, and it was a great experience! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a clean and cozy atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. The cottage was perfect—spacious, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. One standout part of our stay was how helpful Samuel was. We had many questions about snow removal and ensuring the streets were safe to travel on during the winter weather. The communication throughout our stay was excellent, and Samuel made sure we felt completely taken care of. We would definitely come back anytime and are even thinking of trying it out during the summer! Thanks again!!

We loved our stay! The cabin was exactly as described – clean, modern, and well-equipped. Stephen was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

It is clear the owners have put a lot of care and thought to every aspect of a stay at their cottage. Outside, there were 3 canoes available with PFDs and paddles; the dock was perfect for fishing- we caught bass and sunfish, and catfish, plus we also swam too. Pool noodles and ample outdoor dock seating was also available. The outdoor seating and dining area was really wonderful and afforded a view of the river still but also surrounded by trees that sound so lovely in the wind. There are neighbors on either side but everyone keeps to their own and feels very private. The barbecue worked great and it was so thoughtful how there was a lighter and a spatula and tongs clean and provided for easy access. The place was stacked with things you may have forgotten at home like a post-swim q-tip or herbal tea. The forest across the street is uninhabited and was great for mushroom foraging. I would 100% recommend this place as it had exceeded our expectations at every turn.

Location was fantastic. Easy driving distance to towns and trails. A good central location for the places we wanted to go. If you have young children the stairs may be an issue as they are quite steep and hard to navigate in the middle of the night. Upstairs is quite spacious so we took an air mattress and one of our kids slept there while the other took the bed.

A small cabin that has everything you need for a comfortable stay to unwind and u plug. Beautiful view of the lake. The inclusion of a canoe and kayaks was an added bonus. Getting there was a bit tricky bur the host gave us very detailed instructions so it was no problem. Highly recommend this “little cabin in the woods” if you are looking to be in this area and have a small group.

Caroline was a great host to us. She put our trust in us with our first booking on AirBnB, answered all our questions promptly and accurately, provided clear and reasonable instructions and was friendly and helpful in all communications. The cottage itself is in a nice location on a scenic lake with outdoor amenities and chairs. It was great value, and everything that was provided allowed for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. While there are others enjoying the lake at nearby cottages, it still felt fairly private by the cottage as well. I would without a doubt consider staying here again if we're back in the area.
