Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mullingar

Beautiful place to stay, warm, clean and cosy. A few treats left as a very welcome “welcome gift”. Toni communicated with us right from the time of booking with information about the cottage and things to do/places to visit during our stay.

Had a lovely time at Tom's place, very clean and spacious accomodation. All the rooms were very comfortable and had everything you could need. Tom was also great to respond to any questions.

Saskia's home is just perfect and they're the perfect host! Saskia communicated frequently, clearly and was so friendly. The house was immaculate, and cozy. We booked it so that we could be in Ireland for Christmas with our family. It was twenty minutes from Mullingar - an easy quick drive. The house was so spacious. At no point did we feel on top of each other - as would have in a hotel room. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and stepping out the front door every morning with a cup of tea to take in the fields. The area is so tranquil and quintessential Ireland. I would recommend this home to EVERYONE!!! Anytime we go back to Ireland we will be booking Saskia's home!!! WE LOVED IT!

Amazing value! Kathleen's cottage was beautiful, well equipped and very clean! We loved the chess board and other games. Kathleen even had a fire lit ready for our arrival, and had a chilled bottle of wine waiting for us as a birthday present in the fridge! Would recommend to anyone, and will definitely be back again :)

Repeat guest here! Teresa is fabulous and so is her home. I will continue to book with her whenever I am in town. Her home is so cozy and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and has everything one might need and the location is super convenient - one minute walking distance to groceries, coffee shops, pubs, multiple great restaurants , fabulous hair and nail salons, and a cute little fresh juice place. Uber/taxi to your doorstep in a minute or less! Lovely area, walk to Botanical Gardens.

We had the most amazing 3 days in this idealic cottage with our springer spaniel and cannot recommend it enough! Flos cottage was very cosy with 2 wood burner stoves, which were set and ready to light when we arrived! Flo had also kindly left breakfast essentials in the fridge for us on arrival. This is the perfect place to go to relax and unwind. Thanks again!

Spent a weekend with my friends and it was really great seeing everyone happy with the place I wouldn't mind going back again...highly recommended

The Dream Barn is a fine place in a very quiet village, but with the basics near to hand. The view is soothing. While it may seem cluttered, that means there's everything you might need and more. Jim truly makes this beyond a pleasant retreat with his hospitality and quick response to concerns. Even when the power went out due to Storm Eowyn, Jim worked tirelessly to ensure my comfort.

We loved everything about our stay in Helen's place! The location is perfect and within walking distance of all main attractions. It's family friendly and comfy. We stayed for several days with our 13 month old, who loved it here as well. It had everything we needed and also plenty of snacks and recommendations for us. Helen was an angel. She showed us around and gave wonderful recommendations. The restaurant she recommended was probably the best meal we've had on our whole trip. Thank you for such an amazing stay! We would love to stay here again one day.

Tom and Maura were excellent hosts, the place was so tidy and easy to find. Me and my family stayed the night after attending a wedding. We checked in earlier in the day. Maura and Tom were super flexible in when we could check in. When we got back from the wedding later that evening the apartment was cosy and warm. The apartment was super clean, there was lots of space for me and my family, they left us a hamper of treats and even had some Christmas decorations up.

Since the very star Niamh was a very responsive, polite and interested host. Sent me all the details (above and beyond) and the house was just what I needed for my family. I will return. thanks 😊

Visited my sister for Xmas who lives in Rathmines. This place is great, quaint, and walkable from tons of great spots. It’s just right for a single or a couple, and the washer/dryer saved me. Def would recommend, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. Expect to see me rebook!

I strongly recommend a stay here with Irene and Dave. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is outstanding, with everything you would need to make a meal. We got a takeaway from Sanjay s Indian restaurant in Birr, which was delicious. We were keen to get back to the apartment and light the stove. Dave gave us a tour of some of the fabulous grounds which he has been rewilding for years. He also directed us to some wonderful walking trails as well as filling us in on the history of the house. The gorgeous dogs need a special mention! A return visit is being planned already . Thank you Irene and Dave.

Peter was a great host and really responsive! Booked relatively last minute but everything was straightforward and had no issues! Would highly recommend and would happily stay again!

Rossnaree House is not a modern fru fru boutique hotel, but rather a delightful glimpse into the Ireland of long ago, a disappearing Ireland. All of the furnishings and decorations have family meaning, going back generations. Juxtaposed with that are the bathrooms, which have been tastefully modernized…the result is a lovely mixture of the old and the new. This house simply reeks of history and authenticity. The views from the rooms and the gardens are stunning…this area is the heartbeat of Mystical Ireland and if you allow you can and will be transported to another time, another realm. There are walkways down to the River Boyne and the ancient burial mound of Newgrange is close by. Simply stated this is as real and as authentic as it gets. Come with an open mind…but do come, fantastic…oh, and there are peacocks!

Lovely house, very clean and modern but also homely. Was very inviting upon arrival with lots of little extra touches. The hot tub was a huge hit with all the family!

We loved this house so much! We had the best weekend and enjoyed every second! The pictures are great but the house is much greater in real life, we didn’t expect it to be this lovely! So much love in the details! The kitchen has everything to cook for 11 people. We would definitely recommend this house and we will come back! Thank you so much!
