My family and I loved staying at the Turret House! Such a unique space - we wished we could have stayed longer! Make sure you take a look at the stars from the balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at Sarahs place. Check in was easy and George met us to let us in, and he had fresh eggs, bread and milk for us. The property is even nicer than it appears on the photos, it's so cosy and comfortable. We visited during a cold snap and we were so warm and toasty the whole time, it was lovely. There is a wood burning stove with lots of logs provided, as well as central heating. The place was super clean and felt like home the second we arrived. The bed was so comfy too! Theres a nice sized smart tv with Netflix, Prime etc up in the little loft tv room (up a spiral staircase, so beware if you have mobility issues that might be out of bounds for you) Good Wifi too. The grounds are lovely, it was nice to have somewhere to walk our dog that was so peaceful and quiet. He even made friends with some of the dogs and cats around the property. I'd recommend this stay if you want peace and quiet and to switch off from the outside world for a few days.

We loved your beautiful home and will definitely be back! We loved watching the horses across the lane every morning. We certainly felt welcomed, warm and cozy! Your home was perfect for our family trip. Thank you!

Marie's house is so lovely and the location is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was so responsive before our arrival and popped over to greet us once we had settled in. The house was spotless we couldn't fault it, the stove was a lovely addition in the kitchen and there was plenty of fuel left for us. We stayed over New Years and the house was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The two pet goats outside were the highlight for our children who loved feeding and petting them.

Saskia's home is just perfect and they're the perfect host! Saskia communicated frequently, clearly and was so friendly. The house was immaculate, and cozy. We booked it so that we could be in Ireland for Christmas with our family. It was twenty minutes from Mullingar - an easy quick drive. The house was so spacious. At no point did we feel on top of each other - as would have in a hotel room. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and stepping out the front door every morning with a cup of tea to take in the fields. The area is so tranquil and quintessential Ireland. I would recommend this home to EVERYONE!!! Anytime we go back to Ireland we will be booking Saskia's home!!! WE LOVED IT!

Thanks Jim for a lovely stay at your very unique accommodation. We especially enjoyed the homely atmosphere and wished we had more time to explore the surrounding countryside but especially your wide ranging collection of books and CD’s. Beautiful location. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Near to all the pubs/restaurants and shops. Lovely walks nearby. Kitchen had everything you needed. Host was very easy to contact. Hot water on when we arrived which was a nice touch. We had a lovely few days as a family despite the bad weather. Great spot to relax.

Fantastic stay, accommodation had everything we needed to make our stay perfect . The kids didn’t want to go home today 😃 highly recommend to book.

Smooth check in with Muriel s husband.They left us cereal, bread,butter,milk and wafer chocolate to snack on.Toileteries too Place clean, peaceful area.Around 30minutes from Dublin centre.. Highly recommend it.

Tom and Maura were excellent hosts, the place was so tidy and easy to find. Me and my family stayed the night after attending a wedding. We checked in earlier in the day. Maura and Tom were super flexible in when we could check in. When we got back from the wedding later that evening the apartment was cosy and warm. The apartment was super clean, there was lots of space for me and my family, they left us a hamper of treats and even had some Christmas decorations up.

Ita was extremely responsive with anything we were confused or had questions on. The Airbnb was clean and more spacious than the pictures let on. The area itself is beautiful peaceful countryside, surrounded by sheep, and not too far of a drive to Carrick-On-Shannon & Sligo (both of which have great restaurants and shopping). 2 hr drive to the Cliffs of Moher. Only 30 minutes to Keshcorran Caves which are a must see!!!

I strongly recommend a stay here with Irene and Dave. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is outstanding, with everything you would need to make a meal. We got a takeaway from Sanjay s Indian restaurant in Birr, which was delicious. We were keen to get back to the apartment and light the stove. Dave gave us a tour of some of the fabulous grounds which he has been rewilding for years. He also directed us to some wonderful walking trails as well as filling us in on the history of the house. The gorgeous dogs need a special mention! A return visit is being planned already .
