Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Mullingar

The house was really well located for our visit to see family. Liked the quiet location. Really helpful instructions and so nice to have welcome pack of bread, milk etc, especially as we arrived late in evening.

Had the most lovely stay. Place was rustic and had lots of character. Beautiful country all around. Very peaceful. Host was outstanding, very flexible and helpful. Would highly recommended!

Everything from start to finish was perfect. It was such a peaceful and nice house. It was our stay in Irland where we got married. George was such a lovely owner and was always helpful. We will definitely visit George and Sarah again (and the two lovely dogs which live there too). We can recommend to visit this place if you want to experience Irland to its fullest. We had a fantastic three-night stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The beds were cozy, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the overall ambiance made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, convenient yet peaceful, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. The host was exceptional, providing clear instructions, quick responses, and thoughtful touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again in the future!

Marie's house is so lovely and the location is absolutely gorgeous. Marie was so responsive before our arrival and popped over to greet us once we had settled in. The house was spotless we couldn't fault it, the stove was a lovely addition in the kitchen and there was plenty of fuel left for us. We stayed over New Years and the house was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The two pet goats outside were the highlight for our children who loved feeding and petting them.

Saskia's home is just perfect and they're the perfect host! Saskia communicated frequently, clearly and was so friendly. The house was immaculate, and cozy. We booked it so that we could be in Ireland for Christmas with our family. It was twenty minutes from Mullingar - an easy quick drive. The house was so spacious. At no point did we feel on top of each other - as would have in a hotel room. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and stepping out the front door every morning with a cup of tea to take in the fields. The area is so tranquil and quintessential Ireland. I would recommend this home to EVERYONE!!! Anytime we go back to Ireland we will be booking Saskia's home!!! WE LOVED IT!

We had a great stay at The Moutain House. Views where amazing. House was spotless clean. Loved the hot tub. Jackie was very responsive, gave great local recommendations.

Second time staying here. Jim was a great host. Place is very clean and comfortable. Really quiet spot and well decorated.

Loved the accomadation. House was in a quiet area. Good safe parking. We enjoy walking so found wooded and river side walks. Just relaxing inthe bedroom overlooking the Shannon with the sunshine was bliss. Would happily return. It was as in the middle of where we had relatives. We got the best of Family and time to chill. Thanks to Rusty and Ian who Sent us details and rang me quickly after I text a query.

Arrives at the most beautiful of places. Tucked away on the shores of a lake, this is a wee gem if you want all the fun of Dublin without the noise and the hassle of the city. The towns close by; Leixlip, Maynooth, and Kilcock are worth an explore if you want to see the real small towns. We went to Town in Leixlip for a pint; and ate at The Salmon Leap and walked the heritage trail in the town. A great afternoon right there! We spent an afternoon exploring our old haunts and if you want a good Irish Friday night without the hassle of Dublin, head out to Kilcock for a pint in Murphys, a fish supper with curry chip and sausages from Rosies and head back to the lovely apartment and enjoy on the veranda with a couple of local Irish craft brews. Rye River Brewing is a great local Kildare one. Walk the grounds of this grand Irish home and see the animals (alpacas, pigs, sheep, puppets, emu) and just enjoy the peace inside the walled garden. We loved our stay and wished it were longer.

Helen was the epitome of Irish hospitality. She meets you, gives you some history, and a tour of the local area and things to do. She led us right inside and showed us around the entire apartment leaving no detail unexplained. The location is perfect for exploring Dublin. Almost every major attraction you want to see is within walking distance. And even if there is something a little farther away there's a taxi stand right around the corner at a nearby hotel where you can grab a lift. It was the best trip. Thank you!

We had a great day at the apartment. There was tons of parking, and restaurants and things to do not too far. The inside of the apartment was very nice, comfortable, and roomy. When walking up to the apartment, there was a bunch of old bikes, all chained to trees, but don’t let it fool you. The apartment was great and the neighborhood was fine. Just lots of kids out playing.

A lovely house in a lovely setting

Rossnaree House is not a modern fru fru boutique hotel, but rather a delightful glimpse into the Ireland of long ago, a disappearing Ireland. All of the furnishings and decorations have family meaning, going back generations. Juxtaposed with that are the bathrooms, which have been tastefully modernized…the result is a lovely mixture of the old and the new. This house simply reeks of history and authenticity. The views from the rooms and the gardens are stunning…this area is the heartbeat of Mystical Ireland and if you allow you can and will be transported to another time, another realm. There are walkways down to the River Boyne and the ancient burial mound of Newgrange is close by. Simply stated this is as real and as authentic as it gets. Come with an open mind…but do come, fantastic…oh, and there are peacocks!

We had a lovely stay at the Narrow Water Villa. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to book. Some lovely wee touches like leaving snacks and a wee prosecco for us in the fridge. Really clean and the beds are so comfortable. Beautifully decorated and it has all you could need.

100% recommend this accommodation! We had a stressful journey and our arrival time changed but Phelim was accommodating and kind. It is the perfect family holiday home and we will be returning !
