Vacation rentals in Mount Van Hoevenberg

We rented Kristina's place for a hiking trip, and enjoyed it a lot. The surrounding area is beautiful, there's lots to do and we wished we could have stayed longer. The lodging was as described, the photos are accurate, and the views are STUNNING. Watching the weather over the mountain range out the big picture window was GREAT. The kitchen is large, and well furnished. The main dining room table is big enough to play board games, the hot tub is well maintained and easily held 4 adults, the deck is lovely. Beds were comfy. One minor issue, the shower in the en-suite bathroom wasn't working. We contacted Kristina and the owner was there within maybe 30-60 minutes to address the issue. He gave us a temporary solution and that worked fine for the long weekend. We had a great time and would stay again!

Jennifer’s place was wonderful. Me and my family went there for a few days before Christmas. The location was perfect, close to Whiteface mountain and local restaurants. So quiet, peaceful and very private. We enjoyed every moment especially the fireplace during the snowy evenings. The house is equipped in everything you need. Jennifer was very responsive to all our questions before and after arrival. I highly recommend and would stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay at in this remote getaway in the Adirondacks. The property was perfect for us and our dog, which plenty of space to explore and a cozy fireplace to come back to. The drive to Lake Placid is easy and scenic, and the host's recommendations for local spots were great. The host was also very personable and even stopped by to drop off cookies. Overall, a perfect retreat!

Ed and Ewa were very responsive right from the time we booked. We made a change to our dates a couple weeks before we travelled and it couldn’t have been easier! Check-in instructions came before we left for the trip and they were clear and simple. Ed reached out to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The house is great and perfect for a large family group or a couple of small families traveling together. The upstairs is great for the adults to sit and talk and the basement is great for the kids to hang out, play games or watch TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with a large assortment of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. We did bring a griddle that did not work on the induction stovetop, but there were plenty of pans there and we made due without any big deal. The house is less than 10 minutes to Whiteface (which was our primary reason for the trip) and a short 20-25 minutes into Lake Placid. I had an amazing stay at this lovely cabin. The amenities were fantastic. This Airbnb is even better than pictured and described. I appreciated hopes suggestion for the Twisted Raven which is within walking distance I had an amazing time. Only 6 mins from the ski area! Thank you! I hope to come back soon!

Absolutely lovely place to stay in Lake Placid. The home matched the description perfectly and Kevin and Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Walkable to town was a must for our kids and this house delivered. We will be looking to return. As anywhere in the adirondacks, 4 wheel drive and good tires are a must to get around the neighborhood and in and out of the driveway!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful . We enjoyed staying at Edin’s very much . We spent a lot of time in the cabin and it was very comfortable and relaxing . He was very responsive from check in to check out process . Allowed for early check in and late check out which was a blessing . Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time with my friends and family. Great place to get away from every day hassle.
