Chalet vacation rentals in Hotham Heights

Such a wonderful and fairytale feeling chalet with an amazing fireplace and plenty of character and charm. Walking distance from the main township, toboggan hill, and a 15minute drive to Mt Hotham. Most things were closed (which Josie let us know, prior) because of C19 and the bus wasn’t running with the delayed start to the season. We found vodafone had great reception despite being let know there was no coverage, which helped booking things online. As it was just the two of us, we still made the most of it, driving into Hotham ($56 a day) walking the tracks around the DP township, relaxing by the fire, and having dinner at the DP hotel. I would seriously recommend researching and booking anything in advance, including checking if the bus is running (it was not, but should be from the 29th), restaurants, and any lift / ski hire, as so much of this is affected by C19 and not much snowfall (yet!). Overall, we had the best time and would stay again in this magical town and chalet!

Very cosy mountain chalet in very good order and condition. Everything worked well. Plenty of firewood supplied - great for such a montane location. A plethora of engaging activities around without even strapping on skis or a snowboard. Good arrival instructions from host.

We loved our stay at Snowed Inn. All instructions were clear. Plenty of space for our large group Would recommend this accommodation to anyone We look forward to staying again

Great location at Dinner Plain - easy to get to ski hire, cafe, pub etc. Accomodation was set up really well with bedrooms upstairs. Plenty of space downstairs for family to relax, enjoy the wood burning fireplace and the view. Simmone was great, communicated clearly and well. Loved it!

We had a fabulous time at Snowmass. It's in a secluded spot looking out on a beautiful reserve that gives immediate ski in/out access to X-C trails (or in summer, walking/cycling trails) - a big attraction for X-C skiers! Alpine skiers can enjoy the extensive ski memorabilia, posters and trail maps from top resorts around the world. The place was beautifully prepared and spotless. Betty was incredibly helpful and responsive and surprised us with amazing welcome treats. Many thanks again Betty for a lovely stay. Bruce (& Cheryl & family)

Great stay at Dinner Plains, walk to shops and pub. Good sized drying room off the mud room, and washing machine/dryer if needed.

Amazing spot for group and amazing host with all the amenities. Good for 12 to 14 people. Right at the heart of snow mountains and just 10 km away from mountain hotham which is only 10 minutes drive maximum. Good clubs nearby if u love clubbing. 5 star from my side

Great location for summer hikes, well appointed kitchen and super responsive host. Would be a cozy ski stay as well.

It would better if were given more than one set of keys

We stayed as large group of 3 families. This place is quiet and has good hiking tracks. Beautiful drives around Alpine region. I would recommend this place.
