Vacation rentals in Motala ström

Clean house. Beautiful peaceful location and a great host. Lake nearby. Had a great stay, host allowed me to use his row boat in lake to go fishing.

To say we had a nice stay would be an understatement! The accomidation is so lovely and we had an amazing vacation. The pool deck is even nicer than you might think from the pictures. The pool costs a little extra (120€ for the week as of 2022), which would have been nice to write in the listing. Given the pool is heated and has to be maintained the cost is understandable though of course. The next grocery store is about 15min by car and the next bigger town about 40 to 50min. Given how nice the house is you might not want to leave though :) We had a lot of fun taking the SUP and the canoe out to the lake, we even had the chance to do this with our little dogs for the very first time, so that was a really great experience. There is even a grill, which Linda and Peter were kind enough to let us borrow. All basic spices, oils and such were also there to borrow. The surrounding forrest is beautiful too and there were plenty of mushrooms to pick. Lastly two things worth noting (These werent issues for us but might be worth knowing for others). Both the pool deck and the garden are not fenced in, so if you have small kids or dogs you will have to keep an extra eye out. And the larger beds in the main house are in separate rooms but the rooms are only separated by a curtain. Again, these were really non issues when you take into account how lovely the rest of the place was! So, thank you again for letting us stay here, Linda and Peter!

We traveled together with friends (4 adults and 4 children) and felt comfortable from the first moment. There was plenty of space and enough sleeping options. It was designed with a lot of love & warmth and there was nothing missing in the furnishings. We liked the quiet natural surroundings very much and the views were a dream. We had our desired snow dream, but we definitely want to come back at a different time of year. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Great host! Very beautiful house! gives you a great vibe! the jacuzzi and sauna was perfect in this cold weather! it was fantastic! Christoffer is very responsive and understanding host! I hope to come back in the future to his lovely house!

Nice and spacious house in Katrineholm. We had a great time, Malin was very supportive during our stay. The house is well-equipped, just a bit warm in summer due to the big glas front. If we ever come back to Katrineholm, we will definitely stay here again.

The two nights were too short,so I'm sure we'll be back. Patrick and Daniela and your children,thank you for your hospitality. Your animals are great. Cool if Lucas is just next to the car or if one of your cats come by for a cuddle or Emmy and Ida. Charlotte enjoyed the ride on Nicke and raved how dear Daniela and Lucy and Lucy were. This morning she picked up the donkey,which she found totally funny.

A really nice house with everything you needed, everything fresh and in good order. Comfortable that bed linen and towels were included in the listing and comfortable to come to ready made beds when we arrived late at night. We also appreciated the clear instructions for checking in and out, and the quick and easy communication with the host who helped make our stay both smooth and enjoyable. Thanks Torbjörn with family! We would be glad to come back.

The accommodation is very quiet with a great view over the lake. We have been able to spot the ospreys over the lake for several days, these are very rare with us. The decor of the house is super cozy and the veranda and terraces are definitely a plus. If possible, we will most definitely come back. Regards, Elly and Jos
