Loved our stay. Very spacious place for a family! Awesome views and the pool and pool area were great. Super easy to get into- instructions were very clear! Ubers super easy and reliable to catch into marina area.

Lucy and Joshua are great hosts in orchestrating our stay in Cairns. They went beyond their way to accommodate to the needs of our family and do not fail to impress us as frequent users of Airbnb. They respond to messages promptly and are always friendly! My kids had fallen in love in Cairns and the charm of this property, we are already talking about return to this sunshine state soon!!

Had a nice stay, unfortunately it’s not very convenient for transit so we had to use Uber quite often due to being the rainy season. However we did enjoy our stay and the flat was just what we needed. Thanks!

Great location very well appointed. Liked the utility room (didn’t know there was one when I rented it). The loggia was a delightful place to hang out. Nice kitchen. Easy walk to everything we wanted to do.

Lovely apartment as pictured. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Only a 5 minute walk to the seafront which was a real highlight, about 20 mins walk to the cbd. Great neighbourhood with private parking at the back.

To the Palm House team, thank you for a wonderful experience. Your home is perfect for our family, and we really could not have asked for anything more. Amenities are top-notch, access is easy, and walking distance to Palm Cove Esplanade is a breeze. I must compliment you on the bedding and linens; they were comfortable and had a nice luxury feel. All in all quality throughout the entire home. My only criticism is the pool access, could do with a ladder or steps of some sort, as getting in and out was a little difficult. So thank you team for a great stay and we will be back for another adventure with you as soon as we can arrange it Kindest regards N&S

If, like I did, you want a feeling for the Cairns of the 1920s, or despise fully air-conditioned condominia, then this is the place for you! There's also a cafe nearby for the iced coffee you may need at 9AM during The Wet! You can also walk to the nearby public pool. The bus stop is a short walk away, if you want to go downtown - the buses are easy to use and cheap, and take <10 minutes to get into the CBD. The Esplanade walk through landscaped gardens into town is do-able even in summer and has a great view. A couple of small supermarkets are nearby but you can always get a delivery from the major stores. There's also a great fishmonger nearby, if you plan to cook, but not catch, your own reef fish. Just be aware that you're not far from Cairns airport and it feels like you're under the flight path - flights wont disturb your sleep, though.

Our family enjoy staying at David's so much we have been back 4 times. The pantry is well stocked. The living areas are large and comfortable. Undercover parking and a covered clothes line make dealing with wet season rain easy. There is also a good size internal laundry with a washing machine and separate dryer. All the bedrooms are a great size and the beds are comfortable. David's home is in a wonderful location. If you feel like a short walk the botanical Gardens and cafes are only minutes away. It's also only short drive to many of Cairns best attractions including the Sky rail and scenic railway, aquarium and lagoon. The location is also ideal, if you want to explore a little north of Cairns and visit Port Douglas, Mossman or the Daintree. You will also be well placed to vist Hartley's, and have an up close breakfast will the koalas. David's place is easily the best value in Edge Hill.

This was a fabulous place to stay for our excursion to the great barrier reef. The house was modern and clean with lots of windows and vaulted ceilings. The pool was very nice as well. Our view of the ocean was great. Machans Beach is a small community but we enjoyed the restaurant, the coffee shop and the mini promenade along the water. It was very quiet and relaxing. The ocean is nice to look at but not so much for swimming.

Kevin is very nice and kind. He is also a big lover for cacti.

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious property in Cairns! With 5 bedrooms, it was perfect for our family get-together. The house is located in a quiet and central area, making it convenient yet peaceful. All amenities were provided, which made our stay very comfortable. The host, Kath, was extremely helpful and communicative, ensuring everything went smoothly. Highly recommended for families or groups looking for a great place to stay in Cairns!

Palm cove is the perfect location for a holiday. Peter and Satina apartment is the perfect place to stay ground floor access to pool and all amenities. We will return.

Very spacious apartment on well-kept gated resort complex with pools. Few minutes drive to city centre and harbour. Slightly dated but well-equipped with dishwasher, large washing machine, large fridge freezer and tumble dryer. Underground car park - car hire in Cairns is very cheap and we were glad we had one as the temperature and humidity made walking unpleasant. Fortunately the air conditioning in the apartment worked well. Excellent value.

A sprawling home with great views. Kitchen was fabulous. The bedrooms and bathrooms were top notch. The patio area had comfortable seating. Even though the place is a part of a small group of apartments, it felt totally private. Covered car park was a bonus. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. One reaches the place through two flights of narrow stairs. It may be difficult to carry large luggage or if you have mobility issues. Otherwise this is a dream vacation home

The accommodation is in a great location on the Palm Cove esplanade with easy access to all of Palm Cove’s many restaurants, bars and boutique shops. The resort lagoon pool was in pristine condition. The accommodation was very clean with all the amenities provided. Thomas was a great proactive host with very prompt responses to our communications. Highly recommended!

Paulys place is fantastic, right on the Esplanade in Cairns, walking distance to everything that Cairns city has to offer, but far enough away from the night clubs and noisy end of town that you dont hear anything especially when you shut the double glazed doors. The pictures of the apartment don't do it justice, the veiws from the balconys are gorgeous, it is very clean and well maintained. Paul is very easy to communicate with and he went out of his way and hired a shower stool for me and when I asked about beach towels he went and brought some, The king size bed is so very comfortable, I have no hesitation in recommending Paulys place to anyone who is staying in Cairns. We are two couples who found Andrew to be an outstanding host. His lovely property exceeded our expectations and was exactly as advertised. An oasis of comfort with our every need met - even provided us with umbrellas when we were threatened with a sudden tropical downpour. In providing this review I am aware that the next time we are in Cairns, it may be difficult to rent this wonderful place. Thank you so very much again.

Great apartment within the Peppers resort, and in a nice quiet section of the resort although a little bit of a walk to the amenities. Thoughtfully appointed and spacious, perfect for our family of 2 adults and a toddler. We enjoyed the resort facilities and the location in Palm Cove. My only feedback would be that the carpark instructions were a little confusing and the underground car park for the building was not clearly signposted for the building corresponding to the apartment number. The host was very responsive when we had a little difficulty finding this on the first day so no issues after that! Great stay, we will be back!
